HIGHLIGHTS | Inter vs. AS Roma (Serie A Femminile 2024-25 Matchday 5)

So away we go. Inter Milan versus Roma. Match day five near the Serie A Femenina from Barcelona. Actually started her career with Inter Milan. So playing against her former club made her senior debut for Inter Milan. The 2022-23 season. Dragone still only 17. Here's Javi. He's got pace. Javi looking to go on the outside and delivers a cross towards the back post. It wasn't a bad ball. Dragone's shot came through a forest of legs and Runo's daughter down to make the save. Good play by Javi. Giuliano didn't really catch it but managed to feed it back to Dragone and a good save by the goalkeeper. Here's Dragone. Good challenge though by Milinkovic to win the ball back for Inter. Gulharz. Kandiyagi now from a narrow angle. She was unselfish but the ball inside just couldn't find Magul. The clean sheet in the league so far in the four league games they've played this season. Javi. Good play by Javi. Dragone. Shot from distance is on target. Good save by Runo's daughter. Dragone got plenty of power into that shot. The youngster. It's a lovely turn from the Norwegian. Finlay Javi. Shot from Javi. Oh just past the post. Good effort. Javi has been really busy in this first half. She's seen plenty of the ball down the left-hand side and that was a super effort out to Linari. Into the opposition half. Gregy. Quick ball now to Javi. Cross is too deep. It's beyond everybody. All the way through to Rogerson. He's managed to dig out a very good cross. Santorini. The half clearance. It's Javi again. Shot from Javi. Oh another brilliant save from Runo's daughter. After a great strike once again from Javi. Emily Javi has been the main threat in this first half. On here from Linari. Again it's out to Javi. It's been the main threat in this first half. Emily Javi. And again it's Javi this time. Blocked by Milinkovic for a corner kick. She's causing Inter all sorts of problems in this first half. Again it's Manuela Giuliano to take this corner for Roma. Towards the near post. And it's gone into the net. I think that might be an OG off Milinkovic or else Dragoni got the final touch. One way or the other it's Roma who lead. Super delivery from Giuliano. Dragoni is taking the plaudits from her teammates. Her first league goal. She did score a couple against Servette in the Champions League in the 7-2 win for Inter. And they don't concede another here just before halftime. Rogerson. Towards Javi. Closed down. Chance for Giuliano. And a good save again by Brunasdottir. Roma well on top at the moment now. Confidence for a 17-year-old. It's a joy to watch. On the outside again. Rogerson. The cross is beyond the keeper but the effort is wide. He thinks it should be a corner. Boury disagrees. It's Carchuni's first involvement. A little bit short. Cleared away to safety in the end. Here's Robustolini now to pull in. Carchuni. Lovely first touch. A clever ball as well into the feet of Bullard. Bartoli's cross. A real chance here and the substitute almost scoring. Just moments after coming on. Chiara Robustolini forcing a very good save from Ceasar. Aim it towards the goal with as much power as she could and it's a very good save. Season she scored 26 goals. Top scorer. Phenomenal scoring rate in the Netherlands for Tessa Bullard. Belgian international. Number 31 for Inter. Oh it's beautifully worked. Here's Bowen. It's run through to Bullard. That was her chance. She'll be disappointed not to have hit the target there. Wonderful opportunity. Very clever dummy. Information from the bench that Pavane is about to come on. Bullard looking to get in behind and that's great anticipation by Ceasar. Again really good goalkeeping from the Romanian. Towards Cambiaghi. Down to Polli. Polli has gone down. The referee points to the spot. It's a penalty. Clumsy challenge by Moeke Minami. Inter will have a chance from the penalty spot. Good flick on by Cambiaghi to find Polli inside the area. Carchuni against Ceasar. She finds the corner of the net and it's 1-1. Her first goal since the 8th of October last year when she scored away to Sassuolo. She's suffered injury problems in the meantime. Wonderful to see her back on the field of play. Here's Lenari. Guilherme. Regi from the edge of the area and it's saved by the keeper Last chance as Leona sends this one in. Break back out to Benedetta Leona. Needs to get it in quickly. That's not the way to do it. The final whistle blows and it's honours even. It's probably a fair result.
