Brand new from Arbortech, this is the AS200X Brick and Mortar All Saw.
Now these saws are Aussie designed and manufactured and they're great for cutting deep
and square into brick walls, something that you can't do especially that square bit
with a regular cutting wheel. And at the business end they've got two blades that
move together to eat away that mortar in soft to medium brick quickly and safely.
This new model replaces the extremely popular AS175 which we featured here on Sydney Tools TV
some four years ago and unlike me they've made some pretty serious improvements with the tool
in that time. Firstly they've increased the output of the motor to 1500 watts from 1400 watts but
even better they've added a tool-less quick change system to the blades. It's really great,
a saw comes with both the general purpose blades and the plunge cut blades and it's never been
easier to switch between them. Another really noticeable improvement is around the grips,
there's a lot more rubberization around that front shoulder of the tool which is where I'm
naturally inclined to grab the tool. They've also added some customization to that top handle
with some quick stops so you can change the position of it to suit your application and
how you like to use the tool. Using the tool today it's got impressively low vibration,
in fact you only get serious vibration if you're using the tool wrong and that's when you get
hammering if you're using the toe of the blade to try to cut instead of the face of the blade
that does the cutting. And a really big plus is that dust extraction and that unique flexible
boot design. We cut four bricks out today, there was almost zero dust getting airborne,
very little debris to clean up at the end of the day as well. That's great for both your health and
safety as a user and for your clients. Now the saw comes in a really handy hard case with both
storage and transport, you'll fit your blades in there as well. Make sure you head on into
your local Sydney Tools store today or go online to sydneytools.com.au for the full specs on this
saw or for Australia-wide shipping and if you've got any questions hit me up in that comment
section down below. Until next time, I'm Tim, thanks for watching Sydney Tools TV.
