Hi YT fam! In today’s video we head to Homegoods to showcase the new holiday/ Christmas decor as well as the best everyday items for the month of October! I hope you enjoy!
Hi guys and welcome back to my channel.
If you are new, welcome.
My name is Hiena and on this channel we talk all things home decor, home aesthetics, mixing
high and low with new and old.
And in today's video it is home goods best of for the month of October.
So if this is something you are interested in watching, just keep on watching.
Alright, if you are just clicking on this video, welcome.
I head to home goods every single month to showcase the best products that I can find.
Textiles, home decor, furniture, you name it.
I compile it into one video every single month here on my channel.
Now there are two things that I'm going to be showing within each item.
One is the style number and two is the department number along with the price tag so you guys
know what the price of the item is.
But those two numbers are important as that is the information you need to see if your
local home goods has that product in stock.
Just jot it down, give your local home goods a phone call and see if they possibly have
the item in stock.
Also give them a brief description so they know what it is they are looking for.
As we know, every home goods location varies with product so this hopefully gives you guys
an idea of what is circulating in the stores.
I know west coast and east coast are different but again, hopefully these videos are helpful
for you guys.
Now for the month of October, it is going to be a hodgepodge of stuff.
As we know, we are coming into holiday so there is definitely going to be holiday product
highlighted within today's video.
It is very early on in October while filming this so I don't think they are yet at their
max capacity of holiday stuff so if I need to bring a refresher come the end of this
month, I will do so.
But without further ado guys, let's get into today's video.
This next marble dish is circulating again at home goods.
This is priced at $50 and it is a fairly good size of a beautiful scallop marble dish.
I do own this and I have to say it is one of my favorite pieces to style with.
I hate when you're not near, drifting away, drifting away.
Keep missing you, the days that you don't see me.
I search it for a heart inside of my teeth.
Sitting here forever, won't you hold me?
Now won't you hold me?
Cause baby I try, try to tell lies.
Now I could spell them out if I still tried.
Cause I don't care, as long as you're there, as long as you're there.
Baby we can do this all night, keep on second guessing our love, oh love.
I don't really care if you don't mind, baby we can do this all night.
We can do it, all night, we can do it.
Baby won't you hold tight, hold tight, hold tight.
The closer I get, the further you go.
I wanna know, I wanna know.
These next holiday Christmas trees in Terracotta are a look for lust for the Pottery Barn Ceramic
Artesian Christmas Tree.
The ones at Pottery Barn are priced anywhere from $79 to $129, where here at Home Goods
these ones were priced very reasonable at $17.
They did come in two different colorways but they are definitely achieving that look for
a lot less.
We can do this all night, keep on second guessing our love, oh love.
I don't really care if you don't mind, baby we can do this all night.
We can do it, all night, we can do it.
All night, baby won't you hold tight, hold tight, hold tight.
I wanted to highlight two different tablecloths in my trips to Home Goods.
Now I'm not one that uses these on my tables but I thought this would make a really beautiful
tree skirt.
Now I don't think we need to use a traditional tree collar or a traditional tree skirt.
I think utilizing something like a tablecloth or even fabric from Hobby Lobby is a great
way to add a little bit of visual interest in something that's a little bit different
than our traditional tree skirts that we see during the Christmas time.
So think outside the box and if you come across any tablecloths you could get a few of them
and bunch them up around your Christmas tree.
This next green velour accent chair was a swivel and this was by the company Tahari
priced at $499.
This is a look for less for the CB2 Fits Modern Channel green swivel chair priced at $1,100.
So you're about getting 50% off the same look for a lot less.
I can't describe it.
It's just my habit.
And she can talk about it like it's magic.
The way that she loves my habit.
It's just my habit.
Never get it right.
I still have you on my side.
Staying night after night.
Cause you're mine.
Cause it's just my habit.
It's just my habit.
And I can't describe it.
It's just my habit.
And she can talk about it like it's magic.
The way that she loves my habit.
It's just my habit.
And I can't describe it.
It's just my habit.
And she can talk about it like it's magic.
If you love that traditional red and white Christmas I came across this traditional
looking throw blanket for the holiday season priced at $25.
It was by the company Brooks Brothers which is a pretty reputable company and they make
some really beautiful textiles.
So be on the lookout for these in your next trip to HomeGoods.
I found this really fun floor leaner mirror from HomeGoods.
This was something I've never seen before.
It's obviously a very specific style but it definitely resembled the Entable floor
leaner mirror from Restoration Hardware which is priced at about $3,000.
This one here at HomeGoods was priced at $1,000 which is still an investment but this
piece is super big.
Now another look for less that I came across was this really beautiful black sideboard
that definitely resembled the Reclaimed Oak Buffet from Restoration Hardware which is
priced well over $3,000 as well.
Here at HomeGoods this one was priced at $600.
Now the last item I'm going to talk about for our big furniture pieces is this really
cool scalloped fluted sideboard.
I've never seen anything with a fluted and scalloped detailing.
This is such a cool combination.
It would make such a killer piece in any space.
You already know if it has to do with horses it's going to be added to Best of HomeGoods
including this beautiful art print that was priced at $60.
It's kind of in the sepia tone and reminds me of the one that I have in my dining room
but obviously for a fraction of the price.
Now these whiskey glasses are circulating HomeGoods again.
These were picked up last year during the holiday season.
These are an Our House Dupe priced at only $5 here at HomeGoods.
So if you come across those ones you better snag them.
This next find is the find of the day.
This is a look for less for the charcoal jug from McGee & Co that's priced at $128.
Here at HomeGoods it was only priced at $40 and this is a very specific looking jug and
the fact that I found the same exact thing here at HomeGoods is absolutely crazy.
So if you come across this one this is definitely an add to cart moment.
These next set of brass candlestick holders that I came across gave me Our House inspired
feels including this really beautiful candlestick holder and then they also had this one in a
candelabra form that definitely resembled the branching candle holder from Our House
priced at $200.
And I also came across this incredible look for less another Our House Dupe.
The one from Our House is priced at $300 whereas this one was only priced at $30.
We're definitely achieving that look for less here at HomeGoods so be on the hunt for some
of these amazing finds.
Alright welcome to the second portion of today's video where I give you guys a quick haul of
the items that I did pick up in my trips to HomeGoods.
So we'll do this really quick starting with these really fun wine glasses.
Now I saw these a few days ago and I was kind of on the fence about buying them and then
when I was filming this for you guys they had them in stock still so I ended up snagging
a set of four of these so two sets of these.
They are by the company Cupcakes and Cashmere.
They were priced at $10 for a set of two.
They are this really beautiful just glasswork I don't even know how you would describe this
I'm assuming more like a tortoiseshell type style but I thought these were so pretty not
necessarily for the holiday but just for everyday drinking and so that was the first item I
grabbed in my trips to HomeGoods.
Now the second item I picked up while I was at HomeGoods is a Christmas item and if you
haven't caught my Hobby Lobby buy now save later where I go through all of their Christmas
items as well as let you guys know what it is the color palette that I'm choosing to
go with this year.
I am doing fall colors with a hint of sage or kind of a hint of like a light seafoam
green color.
So while I was at HomeGoods I came across this pack of nine Christmas ornaments.
It's kind of hard to see with the reflection there but these are in different finishes
so you have a matte, a mercury, and then kind of a crackle and they're in this really fun
sagey green seafoam color.
Nine ornaments priced at $14.99.
This company is called Mistletoe and Sailing so be on the lookout for them if you are looking
for some really beautiful ornaments for this upcoming holiday season.
While I was at HomeGoods I came across some really fun stems which my idea is that I'm
going to stick these within my tree to kind of bring out that sage color.
You guys will recognize these.
This is what they look like so there's kind of this sagey color and then they do have
a little bit of kind of gold shimmer on them so they definitely feel holiday but bringing
in also this kind of organic feel.
These were priced at $16.99 for a bundle of three and this is by that company Allstate.
I have talked about this on my channel before.
This is a great brand to be on the lookout for.
All of their stems that I've gotten from them are very realistic and I just thought this
might be a really fun way to bring in that sage color into my Christmas tree or even
on my fireplace mantle so stay tuned for that.
Again, not quite sure what I'm going to do but definitely picking up these things as
I see them.
That was the next.
Alright and the very last item of this HomeGoods haul is a piece of artwork.
Now I was kind of on the fence about buying this but I just kept gravitating towards it
and I always say rule of thumb, always buy it, hold on to your receipt.
If it doesn't work out you can always return it but there is nothing worse than going back
for an item and usually nine times out of ten it is already gone.
As we know HomeGoods products circulate so quickly so I ended up picking up this artwork
piece but I do want to give one of my followers a huge shout out because she ended up sending
me a $100 gift card to HomeGoods for my birthday.
Marika, if that is how you pronounce your name, thank you so much for thinking of me
and giving me such a fun special little gift to look forward to.
So this is a huge thank you to you because this is part of the item that I picked up
with your gift card.
So this is what it looks like.
You guys will see this from the shop with me portion.
I ended up buying the beautiful artwork of florals.
Now this is in what looks like a canvas.
They did do a three dimensional look.
It almost looks like a shadow box.
It is black with ivory what looks like daisies on it.
I don't know.
I just was so drawn to how moody this looks and the frame is in a dark wood color.
This guy was priced at $29.99 so I'm going to have fun styling with this and putting
it in a special spot.
So again, thank you so much to you Marika for thinking of me on my special day.
And yeah, that is the last and final item of today's HomeGoods shop with me and haul.
All right guys and that is it for today's video.
I hope you enjoyed HomeGoods best of for the month of October.
As always, stay tuned for next month as we get into November.
We are almost towards the end of the month of second to last best HomeGoods for the entire
year.
Hopefully you guys enjoy these series and until the next video, I love you guys so much.
Thank you for being here.
I'll see you guys soon.
Peace.
