Aloha everybody. You know I like bringing you really unique properties and this one is going
to be a really unique one. We are at the home where they filmed season 21 of The Bachelorette.
Incredible grounds as you can see behind me. We're going to go and look at more of those throughout.
A number of different smaller buildings on the property. It's a great site for events. If
someone's looking for, you know, a few acres, I think it's like three or five acres out here,
put the details down in the description below. And it's unbelievably manicured grounds where
you can do so many different things. This is going to be a really unique one for you.
I look forward to showing it to you. This is listed by Carrie Nicholson over at Hawaii Life.
Big thank you to her for letting us bring this to you. Let's get started.
Okay guys, so we're going to take a couple different segments to look at this property.
So I'm kind of at the bottom of the property right now looking up and you can see why this is a very
popular wedding venue. You can see why it was used for the filming of The Bachelorette. There
are so many unique spots around here. This, I mean this lawn area here, this is, with the way
everything's set up back there, this is like hotel resort quality. The style is unbelievable.
Really good solid work on here. A lot of, a lot of site work. I don't even want to guess how much
was spent getting this to look like this. The grass is in great shape. Solid construction. Look
at the concrete pillars used on the deck on both the left side and the right side. Up here we have
a little outdoor kitchen. There is a small mini fridge, a grill, a sink, a nice serving area.
Really, really cool. A number of different platforms and areas to sit. So let's go
walk right through up these lava steps. Nice large sitting area here with the fire pit,
benches, concrete seating area around here. You could have a ton of people in there.
There's our outdoor kitchen. Nice and covered from the elements. You are up here in Coloco
Malco. We're above Kailua-Kona. You will get some rain from time to time. So it's nice to have that
covered. We can come step over here. We have another nice little ceremonial platform that
you can use here. Looks like they got a space to put an umbrella. Even if you're just using this
as a home for yourself, it'd be a nice little spot to kind of just relax and take everything in.
And then we come over here through these nice tropical plants up a couple of lava steps
into a covered gazebo. They got a couple chairs out here. Really nice space here as well.
I mean just really cool. We're going to kind of power through this guys because there's so much
to see. It's pretty impressive. Let's walk back down the steps. There's so many levels here.
I guess this is a good chance to get a look out there. Our main lawn area. We got another
lawn area below. You can see incredible rock wall work over there. That little stack of large rocks
would have taken some heavy, heavy machinery. See one of the structures up above here. Let's
take some more steps up this staircase and we're going to meander around to the
kind of the grand view area. Check this out. Super cool. The amount of stone placement
out here is pretty incredible. This is pretty special. I promise you we'll get to the
structures here shortly but the grounds are really the thing that makes this so special and unique.
So then we come to this area. Another fire pit with seating around. We got our hapu ferns.
Looks great. We're still going up. There's more guys where they have some of their more
formal scenes. Now I have to tell you I don't watch the show and but I know some of you may
watch the show but I have seen some other homes here in Hawaii. You know Hawaii is a popular place
for the reality shows but when they come in here they do a ton of work. They don't just take the
house. They'll take the house and they'll spend millions literally on creating whatever set it is
that they want to have out here and I'm sure they did that here as well. Kind of change the look a
little bit. So some things you may recognize and then some things you may be like well where's that?
Well chances are they just added it when they came out here and then they
took them away when they left. I don't know if you guys remember the waterfall house
that we had over in Hilo. That was one that was used on an MTV series and if you look at it from
you know where it was on the series to what it looks like you know when the series is gone
it's almost unrecognizable how much they do. Nice pan around here. You got more green space
back behind then up here to this platform where we have ocean views in the distance
and you can see everything up from from here on this wonderful property. Absolutely stunning.
So much to do. If you don't like the outdoors you don't like you know paying for or doing landscaping
you won't like this one because there is a lot of landscaping here but
if that's your thing I mean it doesn't get much better than this. Absolutely dreamy tropical
environment. Okay let's go check out these structures. There's a handful of them to get
through a whole lot and we'll get to that now. So this structure is on the top of the property. You
can see it has solar photovoltaic, asphalt shingles, masonite siding. This is currently being used as
a long-term rental. It has a tenant in it. So we're going to take a quick look around and just show
what it has. Of course you can do what you want with it. Once you make this yours we come inside
we have 12 by 12 ceramic tile down below. Lower level has a nice large living area. Living, dining,
open kitchen, everything that you need. Another little space over here that you can make as a
little breakfast nook or workstation. Kind of a space that you can do a little bit of whatever
you want. You could actually make that your dining area and then just make this a larger
living area. We have a bathroom down here. Storage underneath the staircase. We'll go upstairs here
in just a moment. You have a lanai here on the back and of course it's covered because we are
here in Coloco. It does rain a little bit and then try not to spin too fast for you guys on camera
there. There's our bathroom and then back here to the front door and we'll head upstairs
as quick as we can and this is going to be your bedroom level. One large bedroom level. Let's see
here. So we have kind of this large common area right now they're using as a desk, a little office
and come a little bit further we have our bathroom all the way down. Privacy door here. Oh so we have
then a bedroom over here. So we actually have two bedrooms up here on this level. Got a queen
size bed there. You could squeeze in a king but it'd be a little bit tight but you could do that
if you needed. And let me spin around a little bit more and come over here to the other bedroom.
Smaller bedroom. Bedroom number two. You can fit a twin in there. It has a little built-in on the
corner. Pretty nice little setup that they have here. A little more storage on the left. And
that's our bedroom level of this structure. This building is pretty unique. So they have a large
covered carport here that you can drive all the way through if you want. Plus they have access
over there through a garage door to the lower level. We'll come inside here. Like I said this
one's kind of unique. We got a little bit of concrete flooring here and an unfinished basically
I don't think our light's going to come through here. Oh there it is. Camera's doing well.
That was a great little camera. Storage, garage, leaf stuff here, whatever. There's a washer dryer
way over there. But just open area. I can see someone turning that into a workshop pretty easily.
And then we'll come upstairs. And upstairs is kind of a living space that they have currently being
used as the owner's quarters. You have a little desk. Small living space. A kitchen over here in the
corner. And then passing through to a bedroom. And I'll spin around here real quick. Looks like we
got a queen-size bed in here. Our bathroom over there on the other side. So it does have a small
en suite. Obviously this is a smaller older building. Some people are going to come in and
make big changes. Some people are going to come in and make small changes on this property. And
some people are going to make no changes. And you know if you buy something you can do whatever you
want. Okay part of what's really unique about this property is the ability to host events. That's not
really easy out here. They make it really tough. But this has enough space to do it. You have a large
parking area over here. Over to the side you have a space where you can have some plants growing.
Keep some of the machinery that you need for this property. You need real machinery
to keep up a property like this. And then this is a super, super unique space that they have here. So
when they are hosting events and it's often weddings, they need a space for the bride to
get ready. And what they've created over here is super unique and creative. I absolutely
love what they've done. So we have this nice open outdoor area here covered lanai where you can
still get a peek of what's going on out there because you have this nice high fence while
maintaining your privacy. Oh by the way, Paina Place is the name of this venue if you ever want
to look it up. Have a little sink. We have a fridge out here. Come through this door. We have a
beautiful bathroom. Like I'm loving this bathroom with the lava rock wall work. Nice mirror. There
I am, guys, wearing one of my silk. I think this is a Renspooner? No, this is a Tory Richards shirt.
Anyways, and then we have a shower over here. Really, really cool. But the best part, because
the brides are going to need somewhere... the bride and her bridesmaids are going to need
somewhere to get ready, is this container that has been converted into this dressing room. Ta-da!
What do you think of that? That's kind of cool. Lots of lights going around there. You got your
mirrors. Everyone can get dolled up. I mean, I guess you can make it a groom's room
too if you want, but I suspect it's most often not used for that. So that's a really cool space
that you have over here. Really makes this venue just absolutely perfect for a wedding.
Okay, guys, next structure. Since you have this event place and you're hosting
things, you're going to need somewhere for people to go to the men's room and the women's room. I'm
going to let the women's room, even though no one's in there, I'm going to not go in. But quick tour
of the men's room. You can see wonderful finishes in here. This is a great place to host events.
Everything is done up really well. I think they had two stalls there. And then you're still close
to the grounds. You can see that over there. And I like how they have more things coming,
like with the plantings and stuff like that. And then there's still another structure. I think
this is our last structure on the property. I'm going to walk over here and I think it's a guest
suite. So yeah, I might be below it. I'll have to go in from up top and take it from there.
Okay, guys, last structure on the property. We have this cute little guest suite. It is
a small little space that someone can come and stay in and have their privacy. You see over on
the right side, we have a queen size bed. It's a tight area, but it's actually kind of cool.
When you're at this property, you're not coming here to stay in your room. You're coming here to
be outside on these beautiful grounds. And wow, they did a great job here in this bathroom.
All right. So we got porcelain tile going horizontally on all of the walls in here.
This is a really good use of space, actually. Cute little vessel sink in the corner with a
wonderful gray quartz countertop over there. Blends in perfectly. And then we step through to
our shower. Nice tile accent there going vertically on the wall with our showerhead on top
and concrete flooring drained down below. They actually did a really, really good job on this
thing. It's a small space, but it has what you need. I mean, pretty cool. And then you come out
here and you're back out here in the property. We're at 2,300 foot elevation up here in Coloco.
So it's a really, really comfortable place to be. Okay, everybody. I hope you've enjoyed this
tour. We're going to take one last stroll through these magnificent grounds that they have here.
I'm not doing my three favorite things or anything I would change or add on this property because
it's so unique. It is what it is. Someone could come in here and do some different things if
they wanted to. I think the imagination of the new owner would be all that limits you.
The space down here is obviously incredible, spectacular, nothing like this at all.
And, you know, who knows? Does the next owner just enjoy this park-like setting with friends?
Do they expand the structures and make this a corporate retreat? Do they keep to themselves?
There's so much you can do here. I can see this being a corporate retreat pretty easily,
quite frankly, and just kind of changing up the buildings a little bit. There are endless
possibilities, but I think you'll agree with me, a super unique property. I hope you've enjoyed
this video. I got more for you in the corner and I'll see you again real soon.
