Sugar- A Short Film (Shot on Sony FX6)

I mean, it was great, especially when we had relatives over and just, I don't know, I always wanted to just sneak into the kitchen and just kind of see what she was doing and like, I don't know, man, she was great. I remember she used to bake. She used to bake all the time. I mean, all kinds of things, you know. And she liked lemons, you know. I mean, holidays, anniversaries, dinners. Actually, I can't remember a time she didn't eat lemons, you know. I don't know, I guess over time I just kind of, you know, forgot about them. Not give anything to it. She had a hard life. Rent was always past due, but we didn't know anything about it. Always kept like a safe distance. She always had like this way of taking these really sour things and making them sweet.
