Champions League Volley Title Challengers I VakıfBank ISTANBUL I 2024 Season Highlights

It's Vakif Bank, Istanbul of Serbia, Yedistova Stara Bozova receiving for this CEV Champions League Volley 2024 fourth round Kool Aid match and it is a break point start for Vakif Bank. Lovely straight forward swing on the cross court from Fransi. More trouble here for Vakif Bank but well saved. Nicely done by Bianca Busa. Finds the gap in the block. Lovely block. That's more like it from Vakif Bank. Still bobbling around. There's a chance now for Yedistova but they can't find a way through. Herman this time deep on Fransi. Allows Gabi to get in the game. Stabbing defence. Held it up again keeping the ball in play. Agonu is now in it from the back court but the block of Vakif Bank starts to heat up. He was the best middle blocker of the club world championships three years in a row. Gets a touch there and then moves in the right direction. She's late. A little bit of finesse. The outside. Dialed it off. It's a swing touch off the block. Not enough to keep it in play. Gunes again giving some width to that ball. Kazuk pops the ball up. Reki into a big stuffed block to Ergunes. Standing at 198 centimetres. Again able to go over the block and find the end line. Quick offence through the middle. Fajima swings and blocks. Joust at the net. Herman tries to get so much range in the arm to hit the angles that she can hit. Big block okay and as soon as Rezov were out of rhythm. The feet never got around the ball from Minerska the setter. Thompson and Bogu. USA beating Brazil in the Olympic final. Taking matters into her own hands. A deadly combination of characteristics here. Just reads that ball going through. Passes back in system. Minerska goes to the outside trying to stretch the middle blocker. To the outside okay. Change of position here and Rezov for back to one. Passes in system though. But Kiffbank finding their way. Thompson accessing the line on the right side. Kiffbank on the left in the yellow. Taking on Shashov of Poland in the blue. And the first point is in the books. All zones of the net making it tough on the blockers of the Polish side. Thompson with a slice and dice. You just don't see blocker off the net hanging back a bit and she's really gone straight at him. Full power. The response from Vakifbank. Pulling the block of Poland but not 5-5. Thompson at the line. 28-year-old American gets her team in a good position and another stuck block. Lovely from Gabi. She creates time for herself with the set. Fabulous Jordan Thompson. Lovely pass. That's landed in. They're coming in off a sick Coppa Italia win last Sunday. 3-0 over Valle Bergamo. Conigliano have form on their side. Second ascent. Another power spike from the middle position for Vakifbank Istanbul. Front he serves. It's a hard one here. It's a high ball. Spike for the right side. Blocking wall goes up.
