500 Dolphins & Me | Maldives

i swam with hundreds of dolphins and this is the story of how i did that oh my god look at the dolphins so many around maldives isn't like any other country it requires careful planning especially if you're going to the local islands so i would definitely recommend you check out my maldives guide and how to plan your maldives holiday videos the link is above so i was on holiday island in maldives and i was told that i could swim with some dolphins and i said why not so we headed out on a beautiful morning it was literally my first day on the island we got to the lagoon close to rivelli resort which is really beautiful as well and all of a sudden i could see so many dolphins around me that i'd never seen before it was mind-blowing oh my god look at the dolphins so many around literally surrounded by them and this is the best spot for them look oh that's so incredible i absolutely love dolphins and i don't think i've ever met anyone who doesn't think they're adorable and cute so when i found out that i could actually swim with them instead of just seeing them pass by my excitement was like through the roof ready to go in our boat was surrounded by at least 500 600 dolphins all around us i was in utter shock i mean i'd never imagined i'd be swimming with so many of them so without wasting any time i decided to jump in the water i have to admit i'm not a good swimmer and it was a bit of work trying to catch up to them but they were so beautiful and i would definitely recommend using your ears more than your eyes oh they are hard to catch but they are so beautiful these are all spinner dolphins and they were all of different sizes from really small ones to quite big ones and it was a huge pod with dolphins in all directions but i didn't actually understand how many dolphins are around me unless i took out my drone and i flew it when i was taking a little break dolphins make these little clicking noises to communicate with each other and if you keep your ears open you can definitely hear them and the closer they are the louder it gets i was amazed by how beautiful these creatures are so up close how playful they are it was entirely magical i just cannot forget this experience this has to be one of the most incredible experiences of my life i've seen dolphins before i mean in diyani in zanzibar but they're always so fast and they're just passing by see and it's open water so you don't get a chance to actually be close and observe them but this is completely different i actually liked it so much that i decided to go again the second time unfortunately there were more boats and the more boats there are the less dolphins you will see i also definitely recommend you guys do not use those little scooters that drag you around because the noise of those things makes the dolphins run away really really fast and you won't be able to see much then i love dolphins but they're very very very hard to catch up to a lot of work but it was a crazy crazy crazy beautiful experience one that i will never forget and i'm glad to be sharing this with you guys if you need more information do check my blog or you can reach out to me on instagram this is time to say goodbye i'm gonna enjoy my sun at the beach and i will see you in the next video until then you have an amazing beautiful day ahead this is brown boy travels do subscribe like and share you can also reach me on instagram i'll see you in the next video
