Valentines Wreath with heart shape form can be made with all Dollar Tree Items

hey everybody good afternoon I hope you're having a great day I'm sizes because actually off today so I can do this a little a day that's a lot of fun I don't usually get to do this in the middle of the day so I'll give you a second to come on and I'm gonna scroll down so that we can see if we can finish what we started yesterday it should be fine there is no one in the house and no one's on the Internet so it should be pretty good how are we all doing today is it looking better I hope it's looking better all right so we'll just kind of start over so that I can go through since we had so much trouble last night so I'm going to be doing wreaths on the heart shape this is a 16 inch you can also get a 12 inch oh good what should be better because there is no one here so I'm just going to start all over so we're going to be using the bigger one and you can also get the smaller one now I actually found this bigger one at Hobby Lobby and I got the smaller one at the Dollar Tree so if you want to use the Dollar Tree supplies you'll be able to do it because it'll be the same thing hey Bella so I'm using the mesh and that is just like the mesh from the Dollar Tree it's the what is it five and a half inch mm-hmm mesh I have the red the white and the pink thank you I'm glad you're here now we're going to see if Ross's trick works for me today okay so what I do when I'm cutting one's out together is I like to hey Mary I like to roll them out together so I'll get them all lined up like this and then put them in order like that I like to use a table that's slightly lower than my crafting table because it helps with getting all of my mesh rolled out and cut so if you ever want a little trick that's a really good trick to have now I'm cutting these at 8 inches so I'll just set something heavy on it let's see and the reason I'm cutting it at 8 inches is because you can get just a little bit more out of your match if you do it because if you cut it at 10 inches it's the rolls aren't going to look any different so you might as well cut it at 8 inches and get just a little bit more out of it so I just roll all three out together kept Majed inches so see I use the equivalent of about two rolls from the Dollar Tree so see I have a whole bunch made but we're going to go through make them so is it blurry again hmm I don't know why it looks okay for me today it may just be the weather so what I'm gonna do is separate the three and then I'm just going to lightly roll it just like that like a little sausage I'm going to do that with all three so just lightly roll it like that when you're doing these curls you don't need to make them real tight you just roll them loosely it helps to keep those edges straight too if you just roll them loosely and then I took pipe cleaners and I cut them in half so I'll put it around the stack of three and then hold them up like this just makes it easier to get a hold of that pipe cleaner is it blurry again ah it probably is the weather it probably is the weather we're going to try to get through it today and see if we can make it work so just keep rolling them loosely and I vary which ones are on top so I'll do the pink then the red and the white I don't always cut the pipe cleaners it depends on what I'm doing so if if it's like this this is pretty small so I know I don't need the whole pipe cleaner to go around I'll just do it half of it it just saves on pipe cleaners so although I hate that it's blurry can you not see me at all yeah I see it's breaking up again dammit it's got to be the weather although the weather is fine here it's got to be Facebook yeah I see it's kind of breaking up again okay well I hate that it's doing that that's frustrating okay so you can see I have three together one two three I'm not putting ribbon in it we're gonna use the bigger one well at least it's a little better than yesterday so I've got one more to do and then we'll start putting these on so when you get to the end of the roll you hardly have to do anything because it rolls up for you is it cold hey we're going to Atlanta this afternoon I'm excited I'm gonna go to my wholesaler tomorrow and stock up so I can make some more wreaths coming up I'm so excited I can't wait to see what they have I don't get to go there very often because it's like three and a half hours away so it's really fun when I do go Ross is he doesn't have school today so he's sleeping I'm not sure how many bundles I made a lot but we can count when I'm done so once you get your bundles made you're just going to go to your form and I'm actually going to start here and go around this way I'm going to leave the middle for the end because I want to be careful about how many I put in the middle so I don't totally wreck the shape so I just take them I'm putting them on that middle ring and I'm just tying them in the back I'm not really paying attention to if I'm putting them next to each other or it's not going to matter you'll still be able to see it I wish you could come it's in Gil's ville we're going to Snellville that's where my in-laws live and then I'm going to get up tomorrow morning early and go to Gil's ville where are you at Margaret Rome Georgia hey you know what I y'all don't know this but I'm a CPA and I was an auditor for years and I used to do the audit in Rome Georgia I got out of that too much travel and it's not very much fun so I just keep adding them on so when we get done with this I'll count how many I figured I was probably gonna have about eight in this little first row happy new year you made it hey there Charlotte that's not very far from me okay so we've gotten a pretty good amount in there so you can kind of see what its gonna look like we'll see how many we've gotten one two three four five six seven eight nine maybe a little bit more than I expect they've been pretty close I'm not going to make these really squished together because well for one thing it'll just take a ton of mash it'll still look just just keep so you just keep loading them on and one of the reasons I don't want to put them on too tight is because I don't want to lose the shape of the heart so if I put them on real tight we're going to totally lose the shape so we're gonna try to keep the shape as much as we can by not being too tight it's the picture any better yet very blurry oh I hate that I need to go have a talk with AT&T all right so we just keep going around and when I do this shape I'd do it just a little bit different well hopefully when I post the replay it will not be blurry sometimes Facebook just does that it's really bad when I do live but then when I post it's okay so we've done a bunch on you see how that look and so far and that cute so what I'll do is I'll go and start on the other side go up here stur on this side I like the shape - 45 minutes south of Atlanta well you could always meet me over there if you want to go in there with me I in there with me if you want it's a cool place I don't if any of y'all have ever been to one of the Sims pottery that's where I'm going it is really cool it is like it is like Hobby Lobby on toys that's how I think of it it is floor-to-ceiling ribbons and mesh and forms and it is just fun fun fun so this is the five and a half inch mash it's the same stuff that you get from the Dollar Tree so that's what I'm using that way okay source it all from the Dollar Tree if you would like I actually got this at Hobby Lobby because they had their you know they have the ribbons one week in the mesh one week and I got it when it was on a half-price week so you just keep going around and tying them down I am tying it on that middle piece you see how it starts to get in the middle so that you can still see that it's a heart if you put too many in this area here it starts losing that shape so you just have to be careful when you go around it and if you do it on the sides first then you can make sure you're still keeping the shapes so that's why I'm doing that so yep you do the ruffle method absolutely especially with this smaller mesh it will come out just by let's see do I have any of that mesh left a little bit so maybe I can show you here in a few minutes I have another idea for you too that you can do that we'll talk about yeah yeah it's thick it can go wrong quick so you just have to do it a little at a time and that way you can keep track of where you're at so that you don't get lose that shape you would do this if you were doing ruffles I would do the same thing so do the size and then you can do the bottom and the top you can also skip those parts and put bows on it to keep the shape that helps too so it does take a lot of these so 9 in this section 9 in this section 9 in this section and 9 in this section so that gives you an idea how many were using a lot okay so I'll give you a another look at it see how it's keeping it shaped really nice so now that I've gotten it most way around I will do a fee down here at the bottom and I will save a couple to put at the top I'm going to put very many at the top because I'm gonna lose that shape so I just wanna be careful where you put them so you don't lose it there we go you don't like doing curls is it because it's hard for you to hold it as I was going to tell you if it's hard for you to hold it you can use chip clips to hold them together that kind of helps a little bit see we still got our shape so I'll put one more down here and then we'll put just a couple at the top so you don't want to put very many kiss that will lose that shape so as you're putting them at the top just make sure you're watching to see if you start to lose your shape so see that one's okay and I am putting my curls this way so that they're they're not going over to the side they're going up and down so see we still got our shape and that's how you do the curly with these forms 54 total ah excellent so what do you think seeing that come out cute so I have a couple left about four so I'll just kind of put them in where it looks like I could use a little extra fullness and then we'll be done with this part oh it's trying to figure out what did I oh there is I'm looking for my other shape so I can put a couple here and you always want to keep picking it up and just looking and making sure that you're not losing that shape okay all right I think we're good oh I think if I get any more in there it's not gonna keep its shape right so we'll do one more okay all right so that's what it looks like now okay so now that we've gotten that done there's a bunch of different options that you can do when you do something like this I see I found this at the Dollar Tree and the colors look great and it would be cute just to attach this on you see how that looks look just to give you an idea that you can get everything from the Dollar Tree and it'll look very cute seeing that cute and it helps keep the shape too so the wreath I made the wreath with one of the larger heart shapes I'll show you from the back so that's what it looks like see it's just one of those reforms this is the 16 inch and we just when we put it on we did all of the sides first and then just put a tiny bit in the middle so we could keep that shape and the same at the bottom you want to be careful you want to do your sides first and then you can do a little bit at the top and a little bit at the bottom so you have a lot of options when you do these you can do a sign like this I think it's really cute if you do a heart sign because it helps keep that shape even more oh and I'll show you a new little trick I learned I learned this from julissa maka over at southern charm race so you can get these little let's see whether they called zip/cable tie adhesive mounts and it has a little adhesive on it and you just take the adhesive off sticks on my hands and then you can put it to the back of your sign and it has a little hole here and you can run your pipe cleaner or your wire right through there and then you can use that to tie it on so you don't even have to use staples which is really great if you get some of the signs from the Dollar Tree they're so thin that you really wouldn't want to put a staple through it and it's better if you don't drill a hole in it so that's all you have to do is just put these on see in their adhesive that will come back off and that a neat trick I thought that was such a neat trick all right so I thought I wanted to show you something else you can now you can do a sign all the way across like this in that cute side I love that side I got this sign at Hobby Lobby I like that and other thing you can do is you could they have all kinds of little hearts now at the Dollar Tree and you can just snip these off and you can put them at random spots in your wreath like this and just kind of glue them in there you can get the red ones and do the same thing see it might keep just having a little brad sticking out I love to get little stuff like this and if you I tell you what this is a great little trick if you are working on a wreath and you don't have exactly the right amount of mesh and you just have little small holes things like this are the best thing to do just to kind of you can push it over and just kind of put it where you would be missing something that's a really great trick to do I do that sometimes but you know you'll be in the middle of doing something and you just run out of mesh and that is terrible Oh awesome okay so the other thing you can do is just make a giant bow and you can either put the boat at the top or the bottom or right in the middle so there's just a lot of things that you can do I don't really have any valentine's ribbon because valentines it's not a huge seller for me but I wanted to give you some ideas so now this one will actually be for my brother's door he tried to take the other one but he's gonna have to give up on the truck he can have that but I did want to show you something else that you can do so somebody asked about ruffles so I'm going to show you what that looks like because this is a really easy quick project well once you get all curls dyed so if you were gonna do because I've had this question a lot so if you're gonna do the pullthru method and it only has the 3c it has the three wires in it what you would do is just go in between the two like this just like this and then push it over so you're only going to have to the big difference here when you're doing something like this it's what you want to do is you want to make it really tight if you make it see if you make it really tight you're not going to be able to see that middle liar and it will pull out and it'll look just fine so you can do the pull through method with this that's one show you that and then the other thing so you see this I have this left over from Christmas I want to show you another thing you could do so you can take this is the 10 inch and I would just take it and tie it I'm gonna tie it on the side and I'm gonna do the whole thing I just want to show you what you could do so I'm just tying the mesh down to get started but if you want to just do poops on here you can do that too what I would do is take my pipe cleaners and cut them in half other cut them in half make a small poof maybe about five inches and then just tie it down to your frame like that push it over so what you're essentially doing this the bubble method and you can leave your ends in and tuck them in do another like five inches like that tighten down so it gives you a couple ideas and you can do this you can do it on this frame so you would do the same thing you would want to do the sides first and then just see how much else you would need to put at the bottom and the top to keep that shape see and then you can put like a sign on it like that so it gives you a couple ideas so I know this was quite a click but all right so do you have any questions that you wanted me to answer that I did not see that you asked I know I know the problem is they still haven't quite finished correcting my youtube channel yet so I'm kind of stuck on Facebook until they do but I then you can tie it on to your wreath isn't that amazing that's pretty smart I'm not sure where Julie found that but I thought was pretty amazing I thought it was cool so we're totally using her trick
