North Shore of Oahu Eats + Beaches | Oahu, Hawaii Day 2

kicking off day two with my favorite thing playing at Kahuku golf course it was built in the 1930s this is my favorite kind of golf the clubhouse is like a little shack cost 22 bucks to play here the signs are just like hand-painted basically and seven of the nine holes are along the ocean we got out here for sunrise I'm in like heaven right now it's so cool in my swimsuit this is what what it's all about for me I don't care about the fancy ritz-carlton Golf Courses this is where I like to play so I'm happy [Music] get in my belly we're at the sunrise Shack which is the cutest yellow little shack on the side of the road we got us a evil this blue Bowl which I think has algae in it it's gonna be super good and then we got a golden bullet and then a coconut bullet which are basically bullet proof coffee so they're like MCT oil coconut oil all that fun stuff we drink these a lot at home we're really excited to try their version of it but yeah these bowls look it's so refreshing they do that one - that's the coconut bullet was really sweet coconutty ability this coconut one may be the best thing I've ever drank in my entire life no joke [Music] let's go to the beach beach to us this Beach and there are a lot of cars parked on the streets we thought it would be busy but look I cannot believe we have this whole beach mostly to ourselves I don't know where everyone is but it's their loss because this Beach is absolutely gorgeous the water's so blue it's sunny paradise I love it here [Music] we're at Kono's restaurant at Halle Eva I got the breakfast burrito it has pulled pork bacon eggs cuacamole sour cream cheese the works I'm gonna give it a shot right now breakfast burritos are my jam whenever they're offered I usually always get them so one of my favorite items to get this one's really good the pulled pork is beautiful I throw some sauce on but the guacamole jalapeno I got the pork plate lunch which is a bunch of pork which they roast for 12 hours I think I read some rice salad it's like papaya dressing in this guava barbecue sauce I'm very excited my parents always said I'm not the neatest Peter what's really good we love the North Shore of Oahu we're in the town called Hawaii Eva right yep I really suck at pronouncing it but I think I'm getting better we had the best time here last time we were on Oahu so we made sure we stayed here we made sure we dedicated a whole day to this part of the island we just love the relaxed feel it feels a very small town there aren't many big hotels a lot of surfers and a lot of beautiful beaches and a lot of shops yeah yes we're gonna go do a little bit of shopping and pick up some shape ice and then head out to another Beach so it's gonna be we just had the coolest thing ever happened to us we went into North Shore surf shop which is very hard to say and we met willow Mae who works there who saw earlier somewhere because our camera kind of stands out so she remembered us and she's actually looked at our vlog on our Instagram before which is the coolest thing it's the second time this has ever happened and for Honor's truck just an Isis we have so much fun talking to her so we'll MA if Matsumoto lemon coconut and pineapple I believe there's ice cream on the bottom condensed milk on the top mouth-watering oh my god I am so pumped this is my favorite one of my favorite things about Hawaii and I come to Hawaii alone just for the shave ice so I have strawberry coconut pineapple with ice cream on the bottom condensed milk on the top it's gonna be so good I I'm so happy right now just give me shave ice and I'm a happy girl [Music] we are at our second beach of the day we just tried to go to a beach club Waimea Bay but when we got there there were no parking spots which we kind of expected because when we came here five years ago we had a really hard time parking as well so we decided not to waste our time before sunset and just kind of give up and go to a different Beach so we're at Sunset Beach now which was what our original plan to go to for sunset anyway so now we get more time to relax here which is awesome the beach is beautiful it's not that crowded so tip if you want to go to Waimea bein super busy just keep driving down the street because there's tons of awesome beaches just along the road that you can stop at they tend to be a little less busy than some of the bigger ones and they're just as beautiful so we're gonna relax here for a little bit watch the sunset and then go get dinner somewhere really delicious [Music] and now it's time to eat so plan a was to go get tacos in hella Eva say it ready to go okay sorry I'm sorry sorry to anyone who's Hawaiian that I'm offending by not being able to pronounce the city's I'm horrible at pronouncing anything Hawaiian even though I love this place so much so planning was tacos and despite the place having awesome reviews we were so stoked we looked yesterday I thank God we did we had some time to process the news and it said is permanently closed and we were very sad very sad day so Plan B is this Thai place that's supposed to be really good however it's a little sketchy because we've saw a couple different locations online so we're hoping they're located here very disappointing so Plan C we're gonna get burgers at seven brothers so a few years ago if you know things didn't go according to the plan I had created I would have gotten really upset and it would have kind of between a mood for the rest of the night I try really hard to plan things and I put a lot of hours into it so things don't go you know as I thought they would I would get upset but new Catherine panelist things roll off her back a lot more so I'm not gonna let this get me down we will come back another time and we'll try all the places again so we're gonna go this burger place and they are open right now and they have food so things are already going in the right direction perhaps got this Shem burger which I don't really know that means like it has like last drops I cannot believe I forgot home fries have like sauce cheese pineapple bacon and onion rings they asked if we wanted to full-sized burger and fries and we said yes I got the Spencer burger with cheese jalapeno bacon like a team we got lettuce wraps we wanted to be healthy we gotta have a nice view on our hands here we go so we really want in a milkshake but we've already had a lot of junk today he's gonna get one just call it for free though anyone you've had that worked here just treated us so well I don't I both thought he was just selling you Sokol so good though that was a very very good plan see we both really loved our burgers fries were awesome we didn't finish it unfortunately but we saved the rest of it for dinner in our condo another night yeah it'll go good with our steak and veggies and the staff was super super friendly especially our favorite guys the really just really nice-looking man you know let's go awesome his eyes a couple times yeah and everyone's just super nice and they gave us you know free little mini milkshake and highly recommend it if you're in the area and your plant AMD don't work out or you can make this your plant a instead I didn't say maybe your plan a good quality yeah very good a to was fun and done we had a really great day despite a few things not going according to plan we absolutely love the North Shore we highly recommend going to the North Shore if you're on Oahu please leave Waikiki and drive to the North Shore to get the more true taste of Hawaii speaking of Waikiki though we'll see you tomorrow so although it is a little bit more touristy we do like going over there so we're gonna spend the day tomorrow I'm doing some hiking I'll go to the beach we're gonna get some more shave ice and I'm gonna try a food that I'm not sure I will like something that I never eaten that I'm gonna try it so I'm gonna be brave tomorrow so please tune in so
