Hey guys, welcome to today's video.
We're going to test out some new drugstore makeup,
some from PR, some that I picked up myself.
I need a full face on my face now
because I'm headed out the door to a business meeting
and so many things are happening.
So let's just dive on.
And I'm going to first go in
with this Pixi Flawless Beauty Primer.
You got, oh, don't look at my nail.
Oh my gosh, that's another thing that happened.
Okay, first off, do we love the autofocus on my new camera?
I am so excited.
I hope that things look clear, crisp.
We're working on better sound,
that it just feels more bright.
Let me know your feedback in the comment section below.
We're still kind of dialing things in,
but like, check it out, bam.
I love the autofocus.
Okay, but I'm not going to focus too much
on this hand right here
because I had a putting on yoga pants nail injury.
Literally my nail split right in half.
I put nail glue on it.
It looks hideous.
Like it's split down,
like where I don't even know what would happen,
but it was really painful when it snapped.
I literally was putting the yoga pants on,
which you guys know the struggle is like,
like you like put those yoga pants on
and they're just like stretchy
and you have to like, like kind of get into it.
I felt this pain and I'm like, no way.
How did that happen?
Ooh, we might have a dupe for the Innit Beauty Face Glaze.
This is pretty dang nice.
It's not overly sparkly, but it is giving a glow.
Next up we have from Catrice.
Oh my gosh, I'm going to do this the whole time.
Okay, you guys probably want to see.
Do you want to see what I did?
Oh my God.
Now I look like I have Franken nail.
Like what the heck is this?
Okay, anyway, we have the Nude Drop Tinted Serum Foundation
with hyaluronic acid and vitamin E from Catrice.
I am the shade 65N matching my tan
and we're just going to go on in.
We're going to take a Sigma F80 Flat Top Kabuki
and I played around with shade matching with this.
This looks terrifying, I know.
Is that satisfying to you guys?
I actually have started being really satisfied
with watching people put on foundation
by dripping it on their face.
Okay, holy crap.
Why did I think this was a match?
We don't have time.
We are, well, it kind of is.
Oh my gosh, that looks like insanity.
But this formula is so thin.
Do you see how it's blending though?
I'm actually like shocked for something
that is matching my body to this intensity
for it to blend out as evenly as it is
because usually there's patchiness.
I am really impressed with this formula.
Wow, let's just blend it in and see what happens.
This is just one of those things though
that if I don't match my body,
I feel like I look not like myself.
I almost have to be more extreme
with going a little bit deeper on my foundations
because I use brightening powders and a brighter concealer
and it's just kind of how I like to do my makeup.
So do not be alarmed.
This is not for everyone, but trust the process.
I'm a little bit scared because in my monitor,
I look like an Oompa Loompa, like it's picking up orange,
but in my actual mirror, it's not.
So I'm really curious how this turns out with a new camera.
Okay, we're gonna go in
with a little bit of Milani for contour
because we're already here, let's go for it.
This is in the shade Spilling Tea.
This is the Cheek Kiss Cream Bronzer.
I'm taking a Tarte brush.
It doesn't have a name, but it's like a nice contour.
I have not seen any new concealers
at the drugstore from anyone.
Tell me, are there any new ones that I need to be trying?
This is an old favorite and I'm excited
because I know this one is great.
This is the Age Rewind Eraser from Maybelline.
I'm just gonna do a tiny bit.
Ooh, a little goes a long way with this.
I need a concealer brush.
This is the brush.
This is the Sigma Concealer Brush,
the Soft Angled Concealer, the F72.
Oh my goodness, this brush is so phenomenal.
And then I like to take the excess
and kind of just stamp it on the lid.
Little bit of a prime.
I forgot I got this in PR
and I have not tested it out yet from Makeup Revolution.
They have these baking powders.
One is peach, one is rose.
I'm gonna go in with the peach today.
Came with two cute little puffs.
You guys know I love a good velour puff.
Opening things with, I want, this is like my nail.
This is my swatch finger.
This is my tool.
It's probably why it's so weak and it snapped.
How is this coming off?
I'm like genuinely not understanding this.
Is this a broken nail request?
It is because I just can't get in here
and it's making me crazy.
Does my makeup look totally orange?
Yes.
No!
To your eyeballs here?
You don't look as orange as you do in that monitor.
That's for sure.
Oh my gosh, you got the, this is what a man will do.
He took the whole freaking thing off.
Is there a sifter left?
I'm gonna go in with these new Essence
Baby Got Blush Liquid Blushes.
Which shade?
I think the orange one will match the best.
Yes, you're correct.
This is what we're doing.
What kind of blush do you like me having?
Do you even notice when I wear blush?
How about pink?
Pink?
Yeah.
All right.
Thank you.
You're welcome.
Bye.
Ooh, it has like a nice little stamper top.
To be honest, these feel really dangerous to me.
I typically don't like doing the dot, dot, dot, dot, dot, dot
because I don't know how extreme
the pigmentation is gonna be.
So I'm actually going to squeeze on a palette,
which hey, you can do this.
You apply your makeup how you wanna apply it.
I'm actually gonna squeeze some out on a palette.
Wow, that is very pigmented.
A little goes a long way.
I'm nosy now.
I wanna just look at all the colors.
So let's squeeze them all out on the palette.
Ooh, that one's pretty.
Dusty Rose, Pinkalicious, Coral Crush.
This is actually really, really pretty.
I normally don't gravitate toward this color,
but I will be trying this one.
This is Blush and Berry.
We're going with pink.
Picking up just a little bit on my brush.
This is pigmented.
Well, it's actually blending out on my hand
like a little bit sheer.
Let's go ahead and stamp on in.
Ooh, immediate yes.
Immediate yes.
That color honestly looked a little bit scary.
It's that nice medium situation
where it's not overly pigmented.
It has a nice sheen to it, but it's not overly juicy.
And I know I sound like Goldilocks.
I'm like, I don't want it to be too hydrating,
but I don't want it to be not too matte
and it has to have pigmentation, but just not too much.
There's a just right situation
with cream or liquid blushes, and this is giving it.
It's actually reminding me a lot
of the Makeup by Mario plumping blushes,
but in a liquid form.
Really, really pretty.
Okay, I do also have these Baby Got Glow
because we have glow products and we have the blushes.
I'm gonna go in with something more cool tone.
Let's see here.
This is the shade Breezy Bronze.
That looks about right.
That's really pretty.
Okay, I don't have time to be swatching all of these.
We're just gonna go ahead in.
I'm actually gonna take this contour brush.
Just sometimes you just have to do what you have to do.
I like the edge of this
for kind of just stamping right up here.
I don't wanna put a lot on.
I might go back in after I powder and do a little bit more.
I just kind of wanted to see it on bare skin
without powder first.
Pretty.
Nice, I'm not mad about it.
Okay, let's go in with the peach powder right here.
I'm gonna sprinkle a little out
on a paper towel in front of me.
I'm gonna go ahead and take the Velour Puff.
I am first, while it's empty,
going to stamp out any creases
because we don't wanna set a crease.
We wanna smooth out the crease and then set the under eye.
These are not crazy pigmented, which I kind of like.
Give you like a side-by-side.
This is just more mattified and more airbrushed.
And then we have a very glowy side that is unset.
This is pretty good.
It is not as intense as Huda Beauty.
It's not as intense as what I feel it's inspired by,
which is the Ben Nye banana powders
or the different color variation powders.
Like the bottle actually looks very similar.
A lot of like pro makeup lines
make these kinds of powders in this type of packaging.
This is pretty good.
I don't hate it.
I'm so thrown off by color right now
because I also got my hair done yesterday
and I haven't washed it yet.
So it feels like super dark.
She's staying in like a chocolatey dark lane for a minute.
I know I was doing like the highlights
and the whole blonde thing.
I'm a little bit like I just needed
to like richen things up for a minute.
What do you guys think?
I saw this at Walmart and I had to grab it.
It's not like new fancy anything,
but it was just throwing me right back
to the good old days of super, like super cheap elf makeup.
Do we remember?
You had to search for treasure with elf.
Now I feel like all of their launches are phenomenal.
They make great makeup across the board,
but back in the day, it wasn't the case.
This is the Everyday Smokey Palette.
Not very expensive, but these colors are so great.
The performance on these old school shadows, still amazing.
This is like a hidden gem moment.
Really tough to crack into.
Like you need a secret passcode to get into the palette,
but once you're in, you're good.
Okay, so let's go ahead.
I'm actually gonna do my brows with this matte brown shade
right toward the end there.
We're just being kind of like super casual today.
Bouncing out the door,
just wanted to try a few new things.
So let's see how this goes.
It can be done.
Like you can use just any brown shadow.
Will work fine in your brows.
If you're not in the mood to be a perfectionist, it's fine.
I don't hate it.
I like it.
I'm gonna go in now and do,
actually I have two palettes here.
I have one from Essence called Chili Vanilla.
I love that.
And it doesn't have deeper browns in here.
So I'm gonna kind of go back and forth into both.
I'll show you.
This is what this one looks like.
I have not swatched or tried anything in here.
So let's just see what happens.
I'm gonna go into a nice transition shade up at the top.
We're just gonna fluff that in the high crease.
And then I'm gonna go in to this more
kind of mauve-y pink situation.
Same thing in the crease.
Let's just get like a creamy, beautiful, natural look going.
And I am gonna go in to this one
right in the middle down here.
And just focus that more on the outer edge.
I like it.
I am gonna go on the lid now with this guy right here.
Let's just get a little bit of metallic something going.
Going in with a BK Beauty brush.
I'm gonna go and take that middle shade
and just smudge this on the lower lash line.
It's such a soft color.
Like this is barely showing up, but I see a difference.
Like I like doing my under eye
with something really subtle, especially during the day.
Now I wanna smoke up the lash line.
So I'm gonna take that chocolate brown
that I used in my brow.
Really spank off the excess.
You don't want that flying all over your face.
You know what I mean?
And just the way that I do this
is I'm almost pressing down into my lashes a little bit
to make sure that I'm not getting that line up.
Like I just want a blurry, smoky, brown shadow line.
Now we're going in and we're gonna intensify it
by getting this brush wet.
This is a Rose and Ben E26 brush.
And I'm just gonna focus on the outer half.
Let's go ahead and mist the face.
I haven't even brushed my hair today, you guys.
I am the worst with my hair.
When I sit down to film makeup,
I'm just like, hmm, whatever.
Whatever, whatever.
I'll deal with it later.
I have been using this recently.
I love it so much.
This is the 36 Hour Defy Transfer,
which I do agree with that statement.
Infallible three-second setting mist.
So good.
Curl.
And then I have mascara from CoverGirl.
This is one I already love so much,
but I got the waterproof version.
A, I wanna see how it washes off.
Sometimes waterproof is just like,
you are desperate for it to be removed
and nothing but a miracle is gonna get it done.
So I wanna see how intense this one is.
The regular is pretty budge-proof,
but I am needing something in this heat
to not transfer and sweat off
specifically on my lower lash line.
So we're gonna go in and see how this one does.
My camera is so amazing.
The angles probably need to work on that.
But phenomenal drugstore mascara.
So good.
A-plus.
Have loved on this for a minute.
The waterproof formula is feeling great already.
That is one coat.
Look at the difference.
That is crazy.
Let's test out a little Halsey About Face Lip Liner.
This is a matte lip liner in the shade Momentary Bliss.
And now we're also gonna go into About Face.
This is the Cherry Pick Lip Color Butter.
This is in the shade Pink Pina.
Ooh.
Oh.
I love that.
Oh my gosh.
Smells nice, like fruity a little bit.
I'm not mad at that.
I feel like I want more on my face,
but also it's daytime, it's really hot out,
and I don't know that I need to nudge up the eyes at all.
You know what I can do?
I actually am gonna go in
with a little inner corner highlight.
We're gonna go into this icy shade right here
and just kind of stamp it.
Just a little bit.
Tiny bit of that.
Okay, I decided I need just a little bit more on the eyes.
Oh my gosh, I'm so running out of time,
but I just want just a little, just a little bit.
I'm gonna go into this brown.
I kind of feel like myself.
I kind of don't.
I need to at least brush my hair
and throw a little dry shampoo in the mix.
So I'm gonna go do my hair.
We're out the door.
I have some meetings.
I'll take you with me.
We will do an end of the day check-in
because it is a billion degrees outside.
Always good to try a new foundation,
face products, powders, all of that,
and see how long they hold up.
So I'm off.
I will be back later.
Did you really find a spot right up front?
Yes.
No, there's never parking here.
What a good sign.
Do we like the pink lip?
Do we not?
I'm unsure.
I like the skin right now.
It looks so dewy,
but it doesn't feel greasy, oily, falling apart.
Like I kind of, oh my gosh, what are you doing?
I like the pink lip.
Do you really?
It's kind of a different thing,
but I do kind of like it.
All right, we're dashing into the grocery store
after our meeting.
Let's go pick up some things.
Meeting went well.
Meeting went amazing.
Feeling like it is a best day.
No way.
This is gonna be like aesthetic vlog moment
where like we're not talking,
we're just like in the store, right?
Get down with it, James.
Come on.
This is what happens when I'm like,
can you get a cool shot of me shopping?
No way.
I couldn't resist.
Hey Tati, I've got a good idea.
I love those.
We need a bunch of them.
I would like to have three good ideas.
So we just got back.
My makeup is pretty much exactly the same.
I wanted to show you my outfit though.
Nothing special with the tee,
but I love these rails jeans,
and then I am wearing the cutest
and slash most comfortable shoes from Target.
I will have these linked
and I'll put the outfit like full details,
jewelry, everything in my LTK.
This necklace is new.
I actually wanna show you guys.
Let's go to my closet.
So here are the shoes.
They're by A New Day
and I don't like wearing shoes in my house,
so they're off.
Can you see the necklace better in here?
This is the coolest necklace.
It is not irritating me at all.
I love this.
I think you're meant to wear it
more like an actual wine necklace,
but I kind of have it to the side
and I think it's really, really pretty.
This is a new jewelry line that I am trying out
that I bought myself.
I have no relationship with this brand whatsoever,
but I wanna show you how beautiful
just the delivery is.
It's very similar pricing to Kendra Scott.
I'm super impressed so far.
So these two rings I just got
because you guys ask me about my jewelry all the time,
like all of the time,
and I never have anything to link
because I either have pieces I've had
for like 20 years literally,
or they're like anniversary gift items
that's like this Van Cleef, like hello.
Kind of like out of reach,
like this is like a big purchase,
you know what I'm saying?
But these, they look good with the Van Cleef.
Like, oh my gosh.
I love this so much.
It almost shines more than the actual diamonds.
And then this one is just like a super cool shape.
Again, I do have an LTK going,
check it out if you want to know like details,
like these kinds of details on my outfits.
The brand is Bonway, Bon...
How do you say this?
Bon...
Bonjour.
It's not bonjour.
Wait, it's bonjour.
Bonjour.
And it all came in these cute little nice,
like beautiful little pouches.
All right, I need to put groceries away and dry cleaning.
It's eight o'clock now,
and I have a quick wrap up for us all.
This mascara betrayed me.
What is happening?
I don't even understand why this was worse
than the original.
It's a waterproof formula.
Do we see what is happening underneath the eye?
Not okay with me.
This is going straight into the bad bin.
I cannot.
The powder, I surprisingly really actually like this.
I think I'm gonna use it again tomorrow.
I have to fix this.
Pro tip, makeup wipe.
Q-tip.
Wipe, wipe, wipe.
And then you would ideally go back in
with a little bit of concealer,
press it in with your finger, repowder.
But like, oh my gosh, that got everywhere.
Everywhere.
I do my absolute very best to not touch up my face
when I am doing a full day wear test.
I have not touched up anything
and it all held pretty well with exception of that mascara.
Now the Nude Drop Tinted Serum from Catrice.
I might play around with a different shade,
but I do really love this.
It states that it feels like a serum,
covers like a foundation, and it does that.
It feels comfortable on the skin.
This is approved for sensitive skin.
Love the ingredients in here.
Love the texture.
It didn't patch or do anything funny.
It held pretty nice.
It gave me a nice, subtle glow without falling apart
and feeling greasy.
Like that's the thing with a lot of foundations
where I'm like, oh, I don't like it.
It's like it starts feeling itchy
and like heavy makeup sliding around on the face.
And I don't want anything to do with that.
Can we also say hello?
This blush lasted all day long.
Oh my gosh.
I am so excited to try on the other shades.
I'm gonna be playing with these tomorrow.
The lip liner from Halsey is still on.
So I'm gonna go ahead and say long wearing.
Very good.
Now the lip color, this guy right here,
the clickable, what are you called?
The Lip Color Butter.
I do really like this.
James liked it more.
I don't know why.
He like really likes a pink lip on me
and I'm more like beigey nude.
A little more like not so papow,
but he really liked the lip look.
I have something in here that I literally just opened
from PR that I wanna try on while we're having a quick chat,
quick wrap up to the day.
This is from Indeed Laboratories.
This is a volumizing lip treatment.
And I just, I feel like putting it on.
That's what we're doing.
Review within a review.
Let's do it.
I love lip products.
Like I can't get enough.
You know what I'm saying?
Let's see if that does anything.
The highlighter from Essence, I like it.
It's not my normal go-to to wear cream highlighter
like liquid highlighter, but I will play with this again.
I think it's quite nice.
The Elf Shadow, like it, nothing wrong with it.
Inexpensive, did great.
And the Chili Vanilla.
Now the thing that's cracking me up
is the shadow lasted longer than the $80 Prada Quad
that I recently reviewed in a WTF.
I did a wear test on Prada.
It did not go well.
If you wanna see a dumpster fire of a wear test,
then please check out that video.
And what else did we try?
I'm gonna keep this front center.
I really actually liked this Flawless Beauty Primer.
I normally don't like things with any kind of a glow.
In Beauty, Face Glaze has been the exception.
And this I think is the drugstore option.
It just gives like a nice glow.
It doesn't sit on top of the skin, exaggerating texture.
And I really love that.
Ooh, I can start to feel a little,
I can feel, ooh, I put too much on.
I can feel a tingle.
She is tingly.
If you love this video,
if you like going out and about with me,
be sure to like it, share it,
leave me a comment letting me know
that you want more wear tests
and what you would like me to try.
I would love to hear from you.
All right, go and have a good one.
And I will see you guys in my next video.
