It's looking pretty full back here.
Got two more bags to fit and it's pretty full.
Hey guys, so we've officially started our fall road trip.
We are driving from Vancouver all the way to Toronto.
This is our second straight year doing this and we're originally from Toronto
so all of our family is going to be there.
In this video we're going to be showing you the drive from Vancouver
across all the provinces and into Ontario.
We've done this drive a couple of times already so we have the experience.
My favorite part of the drive is definitely going to be northern Ontario.
It's one of the most beautiful parts of Ontario.
It's going to be really fun to show you guys.
I don't know, least favorite is probably going to be Saskatchewan.
Anyways, we just started our drive so we just got past Kamloops.
As you saw, it was kind of a rainy start on the Coquihalla
so we didn't really film too much of that but now the sun is out
and we're heading from BC to Ontario.
It's the first stop on our road trip.
We're obviously going to be stopping in the Canadian Rockies.
We have backpacking permits to Flow Lake.
We've done this hike before.
It's one of the most beautiful lakes in the Canadian Rockies
except we get to backpack this time so we have our tent.
We have all of our backpacking gear and that's going to be honestly a highlight of the trip.
I think we're going to be just in time for larches.
We're going larch hunting.
Again, this is going to be our third year in a row doing a fall road trip in the Rockies,
chasing the larches.
Show them the back.
Show them all packed up, the vehicle all packed up.
What a good job you did, eh?
Oh yeah.
It's filled to the brim.
We got Rosie.
Of course, Rosie's coming.
We're going to show you the best of all.
This video is going to be really cool to show you just the journey across Canada.
Good morning guys from the Canadian Rockies.
We have officially started our big 2024 fall road trip.
We're going to be on the road for a month.
Our first stop, we are here in the Canadian Rockies at Flow Lake.
Good morning guys.
We arrived here to this camp spot last night.
We're basically just on the edge of BC and Alberta.
Today we will be driving through Alberta and into Winnipeg.
Just us with the fucking transports.
We've been driving for about five hours now.
We're just about coming out of Alberta.
For the most part, it's pretty much looked like this.
It's been pretty boring, but we had a beautiful sunrise this morning.
We're about to cross into Saskatchewan.
Then again, we'll be ending up at Winnipeg tonight, somewhere outside of Winnipeg.
The drive's going great.
Still got to try and get our steps in to Winnipeg.
A solid 16 hours of driving and we got ourselves a very good dinner.
We're in the petrol parking lot here.
Good morning guys.
It's day six and we just woke up right outside of Winnipeg.
We slept in this Petro Canada.
There's overnight parking in the back.
Right outside of Winnipeg.
Real glamorous sleeping accommodations last night.
What time is it? 5.15.
We have how long of a drive today?
14.5 hours to Sault Ste. Marie.
This is one of the most beautiful drives.
We get to drive through Northern Ontario today.
Anyway, we need some coffee, so time to hit the road.
Okay guys, so we've been driving for about three hours now.
We're somewhere in between Kenora and Thunder Bay.
Made it to Ontario.
This part of the drive is one of my absolute favourite parts.
This section between Kenora and Thunder Bay is like 600 kilometres.
It's very nature-y.
Tons of lakes, trees, rocks.
It's just such a scenic part of the drive.
Then after Thunder Bay, between Thunder Bay and Sault Ste. Marie,
that goes down the side of Lake Superior.
Which is also one of the most beautiful drives in all of Ontario.
Maybe even in Canada.
Can't wait to share.
Good morning guys.
Today we are on day three of our drive across Canada.
Last night after our sunset at Old Woman Bay,
we continued three hours and slept in Sault Ste. Marie.
Just kind of in a dog park.
It was really peaceful and quiet, but we were pretty tired.
So we didn't really film.
Today we are back up and driving again at 4am.
We are heading somewhere very exciting to one of Ontario's national parks.
What's going on guys?
We have arrived here in beautiful Muskoka, Ontario.
Over the next couple of days we're going to be staying at a couple of cabins
and showing you some really beautiful things to do here in the fall.
First off, we're at Cabin Bajoran here by Wild Cabin in Halliburton, Ontario.
We have our personal sauna and hot tub.
A nice little fire ring there.
We're also located beside the river and we have these beautiful kayaks that we're going to take out.
We can't wait to show you guys beautiful Muskoka.
We are pretty much here in peak fall colours.
Good morning guys.
Last night we had the craziest experience here at the cabin.
We saw the Northern Lights in Ontario.
It was directly above the cabin.
So crazy.
Marie woke me up around 10 o'clock and she had already been seeing it for a while
so I came out to see it and tried to take a little time lapse.
So we'll see if it worked out.
But today we are checking out of this one and we are moving into a different cabin
about an hour away.
So we're just going to spend the morning here having a nice coffee,
enjoying the property and yeah.
Okay guys, we are all packed up.
We had an amazing first cabin here.
Perfect cabin in the woods and we are off to our next destination
and we are going to show you one more cabin here in Ontario.
So let's go.
Hello guys from cabin number two on our Ontario road trip.
We are staying at The A-Frame in Grafton, Ontario.
The A-Frame is a Scandinavian spa-inspired A-Frame.
It's actually Canada's tallest A-Frame which is incredible.
This place has been on our bucket list for such a long time
and we're finally here.
It's fall and we have one night at this beautiful Airbnb.
And we can't wait to share this one with you.
So this is the Scandinavian-inspired spa here at The A-Frame.
The sauna, cold plunge, hot tub, beautiful outdoor space.
We have the fire here.
So Marie and I are really going to enjoy this tonight.
Do you feel good?
Yeah, it feels so refreshing.
I hate cold plunge so much.
Good morning guys.
It is a beautiful morning at The A-Frame.
Marie is just bringing out some coffee and I have my butter tarts
and I'm just sitting by the fire.
We have a couple of hours left at this place
so we're just going to enjoy the morning.
Have another hot tub, sauna and enjoy the morning.
Well guys, that is it for our time here at the beautiful A-Frame here in Grafton.
Next up, we're going to be spending Thanksgiving with our family.
So we'll show you a little bit about that
and then we're going to start our drive all the way back to Vancouver in three days.
So we're going to spend the next couple of days with family
and relax before our big drive home.
Anyways, thanks for coming to check out these cabins with us.
Well guys, we finally made it back to Vancouver after another three days of driving.
Today we did something like 18 hours.
So we're super happy to be back home in Vancouver.
We made it back home just before the big snowstorm tomorrow
and we even saw the unbelievable fall colours that I showed you in Northern Ontario.
Anyways, thanks for watching and make sure to tune in for the next video.
Peace!
