I have 13 home hacks that are gonna beat Amazon I got some goodies in here some things I bet you have never seen before and I know I'm gonna get a lot of questions about the hair so I will answer that at the end of this video starting out with number 13 not all things are good at Dollar Tree you and I know that I share the good bad and ugly with you but when I saw this black messenger bag or we can also call it a satchel slash purse I fell in love why because the zipper quality is actually good on this bag I hate wearing a purse where it's on your shoulder and that it's like falling off I like to strap it around my body and be good to go but we're not just going to use this as a person no we are not I mean that would be boring right I didn't realize this until I came home but I am so excited to be using this bag for all of my camera supplies when I go out filming at Dollar Tree walking around those aisles now I actually have a place to put my camera and my handy dandy notepad for taking extensive amount of notes I feel like I'm in school but for real I'm very excited to be using this in my work life but also you can use this for your cleaning supplies you know when you're cleaning around your house and you have different sprays for different things and rags and sponges and toothbrushes and you don't want to have to carry something around but you just want it strapped around you yes this is so amazing it's kind of like you know if you're a server uh then you have that thing around your waist oftentimes you put all your goodies in well when you're cleaning your house now you can use this really cool satchel and the quality is so good on it the adjustable strap the zipper I cannot say enough good things about this especially for a dollar 25 you can also use this in your vehicle I showed you a previous hack where you could use those laundry mesh delicate bags to put goodies in in your car that looks great it works great however this is more concealed it's a little bit more Chic a little bit more stylish who knows what's in that bag lots of goodies and treats you could also hide your I don't know toiletry items uh well you name it first aid products that would be a great thing or maybe a few diapers if you have those on hand you for yourself myself or my kids they'll come a day I'm sure when I'm gonna need some diapers you know life it's like full circle yeah decorations if you ever see a Decor item say at Target or Pottery Barn or somewhere online Amazon in particular and you think to yourself I bet I could dupe that yes you can my friend I am not a crafty person so if I can do it you absolutely can do it I'm highly creative but not crafty when I saw these bunnies at Dollar Tree I almost jumped up and down I previously saw this in a Walmart video from another YouTube Creator and she paid much more than a dollar 25 for these bunnies at Walmart on Amazon you can get these bunnies for about 16 yes and who's paying that for something that you're only going to have in your house for like I don't know a few months a dollar 25 heck to the yes bags if you want to wrap those Easter baskets or other Easter surprises and nice bags Dollar Tree is where it's at you are going to save yourself more money than if you were to buy these items on Amazon and I love it wrapping Made Easy on Amazon these bags were about two dollars a piece but if you break it down at Dollar Tree it's 62 cents a piece Dollar Tree has all the baskets seasonal Easter you name it whatever time of year it is they got some sort of plastic basket for it now I typically do not buy these however this is where I will pull the trigger and I bought four of them if your kids or grandkids are out doing Easter egg hunts you don't want their really good Easter baskets out in the mud or the snow where I live in the midwest getting all Mucky and yucky right so the plastic ones are perfect especially if like a kid's like you know those kids those Easter egg hunts they like diving for the eggs they're like things and toes and limbs are getting stuck done so like no mercy with those little kids and those Easter egg hunts so the plastic ones are where it's at and save your nice ones for at home have you ever let the prices up on Amazon for seasonal pillowcases we'll just talk about Easter because that is just right around the corner they're like 16 so when I saw this really cute bunny ones a pink and a blue one at Dollar Tree I thought to myself these are probably really junky uh not good quality the zipper probably stinks but we're gonna give it a whirl because I love saving money especially when it comes to Decor I was pleasantly surprised my friend this zipper quality is pretty darn good and the fabric amazing you can use these for indoor or your outdoor pillows now I do have a recommendation when you are using these pillows use pillows that either have a white side to them or an all color side if you use patterns as you can see in my pillows it is going to show through but these are so gorgeous and really for a dollar 25 well really 250 for two you know those beads that people put along their books and on their bookshelves I don't know who started this trend I don't know if it was Shay McGee from Studio McGee or maybe Joanna Gaines but the beads are all the rich so I got the beads right went to Amazon bought these really cute black ones that you see on my shelf and I'm like hey I'm styling this is cool I paid way too much for these weird beads Dollar Tree has you covered yes in the craft section they have black beads and white beads with a nice little tassel on the end you can also see that there's a rainbow on them you can just go ahead and cut that rainbow off if you do not want it on there although that's a fun cute touch as well especially with spring around the corner I cannot believe the prices that I paid on Amazon for these beads because I'm sure this style is going to go out I don't know in a year or so who knows but for now for a dollar 25 if you want these beads get them at Dollar Tree this next one I'm I I need to know if you can relate to this one okay buying wreaths at stores is very pricey and expensive especially because you want to change them out so I found these really cool beaded wreaths at Dollar Tree I almost jumped up and down in the aisle I got so excited there was two left at my Dollar Tree so I definitely bought two and I love the modern design of them and then the floral section at Dollar Tree was on point now again it depends upon what Dollar Tree that you go to you want to get yourself some floral wire as well I will link some in the description box below for you in case you want to DIY this wreath for like under ten dollars by the way I went to Michael's the other day looking for floral arrangements just to price things out they are so flipping pricey I mean who's paying 20 for fake flowers I mean like Two Little Flowers twenty dollars mind you you can get like a 20 off coupon but still that's only one flower for your arrangement I mean what the heck so go ahead and take your wreath and then take your flower arrangement whatever you have decided upon I love the greenery that dollar tree has right now and you're gonna go ahead and cut these with your wire cutters right just above the stem you can make adjustments as you want to along the way and then you're going to go ahead and wrap this around your wreath whatever wreath that you decided upon using your floral wire and it is so forgiving these flowers in this wire so again you can toy with this you can play with this you could spend hours on this or you could spend literally like 15 minutes on this foreign [Music] look how beautiful this wreath turned out and as you can see here it looks so beautiful in my two and a half year old's bedroom a little Chic a little shabby a little modern all the things that I love and again if I can do this you can do this and the last thing in the decor category these soap dispensers mind you this wasn't a three dollar section but for three dollars for beautiful glass jars as you can see right here I had to stock up I actually bought three of these one for downstairs and two for our master bathroom I love the modern look of them and then you can just buy some soap at Walmart or Target for under four dollars like a big old jug of it and refill is needed so not only does it look so cute but you are saving yourself some money now I did worry because it is glass and I have four small children whether it would get broken or not and they haven't so so far so good this is also helpful too because if they go over to somebody else's house and they have glass soaps Spencers I want them to be mindful to be careful with the substance because I don't want them going somewhere else and Wrecking everything kind of like jumping in like wild monkeys all over the furniture I totally get it but I don't want them going to somebody else's house and doing that either so I try to train them at home so that then they're out in the wild they're somewhat more civilized and I don't want to have to buy new couches like every three four years because they're completely destroyed so money saving there you know the little gadgets that you get around your house that you need but you only use like every once in a while yet you're going to want to get those at Dollar Tree rather than Amazon and even Walmart even though I do I love some Walmart prices these fire starters let's make your life easier if you are doing a backyard fire pit or if you are camping yes a dollar 25 and you have the life of your party right in front of you for all your s'mores and your hot dogs and all the other things that you like to roast outside or if you just want to put your feet up and enjoy a nice cup of something or another you can do that and you didn't have to hustle and bustle about starting that fire just threw it and lit on fire by the way I looked these up on Amazon and they were a dollar 37 each so you did save yourself some money by choosing the Dollar Tree these fertilizer spikes I had to grab these especially because I did a previous video where I bought a Dollar Tree pot and planted some Walmart flowers in it using the expandable soil for all you gardeners out there thank you for all of your tips you showed me that for this particular pot at Dollar Tree which I absolutely love you can water from the spout area I've never wanted a plant from down there I always did it from the top so that is really cool so I thought it was just to see if the like water level was spewing out of it then I would not need to water it anymore but I like both reasons so thank you for all your helpful tips on the back of this package it actually shows you how many of these spikes you should put in based on the diameter of your pot you know I love that so I went ahead and put three spikes in my beautiful Dollar Tree pot and I'm so excited because one of you commented that the expandable soil you're going to want to fertilize it and so when I saw these I was like heck to the s for 30 spikes and then I looked at the reviews on that was genius marketing by the way Odo band I love this product I'm going to show you a variety of ways to use it in just a second but you're going to want to grab this at the Dollar Tree mind you it is in the three dollar section but before you you get all angry at me and if we're showing you these three dollar items I do have something for you here as well on Amazon this OdoBan Autobahn OdoBan pretty sure it's OdoBan can run you about 12 but you are not going to pay that as you can see here I actually have a very mini bottle of the Odo band and I did purchase this at the Dollar Tree a few months back now if you do have a Dollar Tree plus section I kind of got ripped up right I paid a dollar 25 for this little bottle although it has lasted me quite some time rather than the nice giant bottle for three bucks it comes in a couple cents you can get the eucalyptus or the lavender take your pick you can use this on your carpeting yes I love it for that I hate carpeting by the way it houses all kinds of smells it's a love hate relationship but it works great on your carpeting you can also use this in your entryway I like using this on area rugs because I don't want to clean those as often but there's a lot of smells that come in especially if it's from your garage or your entryway you're tracking in all kinds of stuff from the the outside world and your boots and your shoes that often get smelly moisture gets trapped up in there and you can also use this on your bedding especially I love using this on throw pillow so that way the longevity of your throw pillows is well longer so you're making them smell good you're killing bacteria you can wash the throw pills I have entire videos on it feels human coronavirus in 60 seconds no nothing in this video is sponsored their car but I have a better alternative for you although it works great on your car this also was the three dollar section but if you were to buy it on Amazon it's about seven dollars in a previous video I showed you comparison between Dollar Tree wax sprays and Dollar Tree New Finish and you can use that on your shower door to help repel future water and make it so you do not have to clean your shower that often by the way new finish it's like the once a year car polish well this is your once a year shower door polish but just make sure that you do not get it on your floor because I don't want you slipping or having any accidents like that so just be very diligent you get it in the correct spot but here's the best part you can also use Rain-X on your shower doors so you've saved yourself money and you've uh lessened your cleaning time tremendously party supplies anytime you got a party typically you're going to want to go to the Dollar Tree especially if it's like serving wear tablecloths sometimes balloons sometimes you can get better deals on Amazon if you buy the big packages we often do that however this is my last dollar tree plus item for you I promise I found this cupcake stand holder and I got very pumped up because these can range from twenty dollars and above on Amazon so I took it home I wanted to see the quality of it by the way a little hack here if you're making muffins or cupcakes make sure that you put a little rice in the bottom of your pan that will make it so you pretty much don't have to clean your pan at all unless you spilled something because the rice is going to absorb that grease so I made these Beauty beautiful cupcakes and yes we did have them for breakfast they were very tasty these cupcake liners I actually got them at Target typically I would get them at Dollar Tree because they were oh so cute and spring inspired and a great price at that but the two-tier cupcake slash muffin holder was great I mean it definitely speaks five dollars to me I love the little handle on it so that you can lift it and carry it wherever you need to go you could just you just screwed the little Parts on it was like super easy to assemble which I love that and you can take it down and put it away easily for more convenient storage and to save some space but it's definitely worth five dollars I will say that but it does the trick I mean it's cute it's beautiful it holds things that you can transport it yes so if you see any party supplies that you like at Dollar Tree snag them baby wipes if you see these at your Dollar Tree grab a couple packages and maybe one for a friend because after I show you these tricks you're gonna be excited even if you do not have a baby or toddler or any sort of small children in your life you're gonna want these baby wipes the first trick that I want to show you right right here comes with dusting now typically when I dust I do something with moisture on it because it does help pick up that dust even more vigorously than if you were to use a microfiber towel or a Swiffer as you can see here this baby wipe picked up all kinds of dirt hanging out on my blinds and I got quite a few blinds in my house and lots of Windows this is probably one of my least favorite chores that I avoid pretty much at all costs another fun alternative for you is just to grab some tongs you may have seen this with microfiber towels however I like it a little bit better with the baby wipes because again it picks up more of that dirt and grime that has been stuck on your blinds but you're just going to wrap a couple of rubber bands around each of the tongs and the baby wipes and we're gonna go to town on my front blinds and you can see these babies are picking up a ton of stuff and this goes so quick and fast and as you can see here look at all that dirt yes I know satisfying how about stainless steel you got some of that around your house and want to save yourself some money in a product that actually worked and doesn't have like a ton of smells to it baby wipes are going to be your best friend just use that baby wipe to buff out any fingerprints on your stainless steel and then I like just to take a kitchen towel to dry it on up and now we have clean refrigerator doors inside your car if you ever go through the car wash sometimes they will offer you wipes I never accept them because they leave streaks over the inside of my car and it just doesn't look that good I mean it picks with a dust but it doesn't look good baby wipes are going to be your best friend again make sure you use some baby wipes on your dashboard in the inside now the nice thing about baby wipes there's not too much moisture you don't want a ton of moisture when it comes to cleaning up especially in your car picks up dust makes it shiny and that makes my heart Happy and doors are another area that collect a lot of dirt and grime especially from our garage into our home so again just grab a quick baby wipe buff it out clean it up and you can just I mean once you start with your door you're going to be seeing all the dirt around your entryway in your cabinets and on the floor I don't know if that happens too like I start but in one area and then like keep going it's like hard to stop that's when I know that I'm in the right profession because I just could do this all day long fun fact before I did this full time on YouTube I used to be a licensed mental health professional and that's kind of like therapy I just have uh I guess changed the modes of operation remember when I said all things at Dollar Tree are not good well a lot of times a little Trinkets and toys are not good lights Electronics but I found a gem I could not believe it I'm not just saying that to blow smoke up your you know what but this Dino light at the Dollar Tree yes Works amazing I just pulled a little tabby out turned it on and we put this Dyna light in my boy's bathroom just to give it a go and to see how well it worked and I'm so impressed with this for a dollar 25 I don't know how long the battery is going to last but I certainly can buy batteries as needed I'll let you know if it like died within like 15 minutes because that would not be worth a dollar 25 but I'm hoping it lasts longer another idea my husband actually came up with this one is we're going to use it in gift bags or Easter's right around the corner yes I mean for a dollar 25 this is definitely worth it and those little trinkets that you buy at Target or Walmart to put in the gift bags for birthday parties my daughter has one coming I mean that stuff adds up in price so this is actually like a legit solid gift and you paid less than you would have paid elsewhere oh and I looked up these lights on Amazon something similar and they were like 14 so a dollar 25 is winning sometimes I get the best ideas from you by the way I do read all the comments and I do try to respond in some shape or form so when I potted that previous plant that I showed you I didn't love the Dollar Tree planting gloves wanting to suggest that I actually go sort of to the hardware section and get the work gloves so I had in my little booty on over there and lo and behold I actually found them I had never noticed them before it's like they magically appeared however since I was looking for them it probably made it easier to find them so I put these on the quality is is so good and I was even more impressed that they were carrying ladies items in the sort of Automotive uh workshoppy hardware department because like women like to do that stuff too and I love that these gloves have a much better moisture barrier than the planting gloves that you would get in the gardening section of Dollar Tree anytime you see spray sort of detergents like Dawn power wash we're gonna get to something here at the end you're gonna love it spray detergents such as Brillo or Palmolive grab them and here's the best part about them I mean it's so great right you spray your dishes you let them soak for half minimum give them a little good scrub you can use this in a bathtub you can use it in the shower you can use this in your oven your microwave you can clean all day every day with these sprays but you can actually save the bottle and put your own DIY sprays in them yes more to come laundry mesh bags I love these from Dollar Tree for so many different reasons I've showed you in previous videos a couple of hacks of how to use them but today we're going to use them in an even more clever way this is actually an idea from one of you you're going to take your kids socks or your partner socks or your socks and you're going to train them to put them in these bags when they are dirty and then here's the genius part all you have to do is throw the bag in your washing machine wash everything up and then put it in your dryer and then when you take it out of the dryer all the socks are together in this bag so you could put them and fold them and put them in the drawer you could just leave them in the bag it's totally up to you but the reason I love this so much is I have a seven-year-old and a four-year-old and their socks I get them mixed up all the time not anymore now I just need to train them to put them in these bags so I got a plan for that these over the door cabinet bars I had seen them in so many YouTube videos and every time I go to the Dollar Tree again I couldn't find it but for whatever reason I hit the jackpot on this particular Dollar Tree Extravaganza and I had to get it I had to pull the trigger on it but I wanted to use it in a way that I had never seen anyone else use it before because I don't want to show you stuff that you've already he's seen before so what I did is I just took some Dollar Tree shower rings and our mesh bags put those babies on there by the way yes these mesh bags are amazing for storing all those plastic bags that you get if you're doing a grocery pickup and then you can see this one on my cabinet door that one's actually from Amazon and I paid a lot more for it but this actually looks pretty cute not too gaudy not too tacky it does the job the cupboards closed so I guess that doesn't really matter anyway but I am in love with this Dollar Tree dupe here's another question that I got by the way bring your questions to me because if I don't have a solution for it you better believe I'm like thinking about that all night long one of you had asked if I had a clever idea about how to apply lotion to your back so I went on Amazon and I went to see what sort of applicators they had and they were much more expensive like 12 15 and I was like no you don't want to pay that so what you're gonna do is you're gonna grab yourself a spatula you can grab one you have on hand or pick one up at the Dollar Tree and a couple ideas here I went to the car section and I saw these really soft sponges because you're going to want soft sponges in order to apply this and I thought let's just put two together on the outside of the spatula and use a rubber band and I'm like I don't know Andrea like I feel I'm feeling I can do something better so then I headed over to sort of the beauty section and I found something that was actually for beauty which makes me more comfortable putting it on my body this particular mitt and it fits perfectly around the spatula I just tied the end up here with a rubber band put a little lotion on there and as you can see I can get in all those spaces on my back that need a little TLC a little lotioning up it's like go go gadget arm yes and let's save some even more money yes shall we okay these Brillo sponge daddy dupes are amazing for so many different reasons it works just like a Scrub Daddy you're gonna get it wet I would you're gonna put under hot water so that it is more malleable it works great in your oven I'm just using my DIY Dawn power wash inspired with all Dollar Tree products and it works Amazing Just Like The Scrub Daddy in fact it almost is a little bit better than the Scrub Daddy because it's a bit more dense and many people complain that they get tears in their Scrub Daddy you know where the mouth is and then the eyeballs but particularly the mouth well this little square Brillo pad you're not going to be getting those no and it's only a dollar 25 so if you're thinking about by the way I made an entire video about uh Scrub Daddy I can link in the description box below a ton of different hacks that you can use but you can actually use this Brillo pad in place of it now I don't buy Dawn power wash anymore unless there's like an amazing deal at Aldi or Walmart or something like that generally oldie so I have the perfect recipe for you and I'm going to link it in the
