How's it going here?
And as many of you probably know, the Vivo X200 Pro was recently released with some pretty
ultra specs.
So much so that it's even rivaling what is supposed to be Vivo's best phone out right
now, the X100 Ultra, which was released earlier this year.
And although the X200 Pro doesn't have the same large 1-inch type sensor as the X100
Ultra, it does have a rather large custom Sony sensor at 1 over 1.28 inches.
And Vivo is claiming that it should have the same camera performance as the X100 Ultra
and even better video recording capabilities.
And probably more importantly, the X200 Pro has the exact same tele-macro sensor as the
X100 Ultra, which is the 200 megapixel Samsung HP9.
And more than just megapixels, it's a very large sensor for a telephoto lens.
I think it's the largest on any smartphone right now at 1 over 1.4 inches, which is actually
larger than other phones' main cameras.
And so I think photographers and photo enthusiasts are going to like taking higher quality candid
and portrait shots, especially in lower light.
But even if you're a person who is not a photographer and you typically don't care about telephoto
lenses, I think you'll appreciate taking higher quality images of friends and families and
more candid shots of them because you can take them from more of a distance versus having
to go up close and get a high quality photo where they might pose for the picture.
But other than the camera differences, although the X200 Pro has a different system on a chip
than the X100 Ultra, which is the MediaTek Dimensity 9400, with the X100 Ultra having
the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, they both share the same imaging chip, which is Qi, which is Vivo
is now branding that as their Blue Image chip.
So they've always had a V chip for imaging.
So this year, I believe it's the Blue Image V3 Plus chipset, which is mouthful.
But either way, it is the chipset that handles all the image processing on both these phones.
So even though they have slightly different main sensors, different system on a chip,
same imaging processor, same telemacro sensor.
So take a look at all the photos and videos.
Let me know if you notice any differences, which one you think is better and drop me
a comment down below.
Let me know.
So let's go ahead and take a look at all the photos and videos and let me know what you think.
So here's a video test of the rear cameras on the Vivo X200 Pro and X100 Ultra.
As you can see, I am recording from the rear facing cameras, and this is with the ultra
angle lens to start out on each at 4K 30 frames per second, and there is going to be some
background noise here.
There's some activity in the park.
So good test of the microphones.
And you can see a lot of the blues and the greens.
It's looking really nice in the viewfinder here in this particular setting, and we're
not quite at fall.
As you can see, there's some colors that are starting to turn.
Let's move into the main lens on each X200 and the X100 Ultra.
So here's the main lens side by side.
You can see what that looks like here.
Let's pan around to get a feel for that.
Let's go ahead and move over to the cell tower and do our normal zoom test.
So the star of the show is this telephoto lens here on the X200 and X100 Ultra.
Same telephoto lens, even larger sensor than on a lot of phones' main camera.
And so it's been very impressive so far, especially in photography.
Let's go ahead and move into a 10x zoom here on the Ultra and a 10x zoom here on the Vivo
X200 Pro.
Looking very steady and both looking very clear.
Let's move over to the main 20x on both.
You can see what that looks like here side by side.
Looks pretty stable.
Looks about even and very clear on each.
Let me know what you think about that though.
Now let's move back out to the main camera, and let's go ahead and autofocus on the post.
So there we go.
And away, and one more time.
And away.
And maybe a little bit slower on the 1-inch sensor on the X100 Ultra.
What do you think?
And one more time.
It's hard because it's hard to get them both in the exact same place.
But let's go ahead and test stabilization.
As we walk down the stairs, you can see what that looks like side by side here in 4K.
And I'll just go ahead and jog to try to stress out that stabilization a bit.
All right, so there you go.
A quick 4K video test of the rear cameras on the Vivo X200 Pro and X100 Ultra.
Hi, everyone.
So this is a test of the rear cameras.
This time it's going to be a cinematic video on the X200 Pro and the X100 Ultra.
So let me know what you think about this artificial background blur effect here.
And so we've got some pretty even light even though we're outdoors here.
There's no harsh light today.
And so this should be exposing as best as they possibly can.
Let's move the cameras around.
You can see kind of what this does.
The sun is behind me right now.
So you can see what that does to exposure.
It should be pretty even across the board because, again, not too much of an intense sun right now.
And I'll just walk so we can see how this effect holds up under some stabilization.
But let me know what you think about cinematic video here from the rear cameras on the X200 Pro and the X100 Ultra.
All right, so this is a test of the ultra-stabilization mode on each of the phones here.
So I'm just walking with them in front of me.
So it should be looking very stable.
Let's go ahead and jog to try to stress out that stabilization.
So there you go.
A quick test of ultra-stabilization mode on the X100 Ultra and the X200 Pro.
All right, so here's some video from the front-facing cameras on the X200 Pro and the X100 Ultra.
This is being shot at 4K, 30 frames per second.
And as you can see, I'm outdoors here.
This is actually fall in California, believe it or not.
So really bright blues and greens still.
And we're not too much into the fall colors.
And there's not as intensive a light.
So as I pan around, you're not going to see too much of exposure issues here today.
So just note that.
You can see the sun coming down in front of me, which is why you see the shade from my cap here.
But we'll just turn this way and we'll just start walking to that stabilization.
But I want to give you some quick footage here from the front cameras on the X200 Pro and the X100 Ultra.
Not the strong suit, but do let me know what you think about the footage here.
Hey everyone, so we're back in the same location.
This time it's cinematic video on both the X200 Pro and X100 Ultra.
And so let me know what you think about this.
What's nice about these phones is that they actually have different kind of styles for your portrait.
This is just going to be the normal natural mode.
So just note that.
And I'll just pan around here.
They're both at f over 2.8 aperture.
So let me know what you think about the footage here.
Again, not too bright of a sun, so you're not going to see too much swings in exposure because of that.
Should be pretty evenly exposed and looking as best as they possibly can here in this kind of lighting.
But again, I'll just walk so you can see how this effect holds up under some movement here.
So let me know what you think about cinematic video here on both the X200 Pro and X100 Ultra.
Everyone, so here's a test of the rear cameras on the X200 Pro and the X100 Ultra.
This is 4K 30 frames per second footage from the ultra wide angle camera on each.
So I'm just going to pan around so you can see side by side how these ultra wide angle cameras compare.
Let's move into the main camera here on each.
And so this is where you'll see, may see some difference.
The X100 Ultra has that full one inch sensor.
And the X200 Pro has that slightly smaller sensor.
But Vivo's claiming it should still be of good quality or almost equal quality.
So let me know if you can see a difference here, especially in low light of these main cameras.
Let's go ahead and move into the telephoto because that's the big deal here.
Same telephoto lens on each.
Very large sensors for a telephoto lens.
Pretty much just about the same size or larger than a lot of main sensors.
So we'll pan around here with the telephotos.
Give you a feel for what that looks like.
It has a nice warmer and cooler light here, so pretty good test.
Alright, let's move back out to the main lens on each.
Let's go ahead and walk the test stabilization here.
So let me know what you think about the footage here on both the X100 Ultra and the X200 Pro here in some low light.
Just want to give you some real world footage.
If you want to use these cameras while you're shooting out and about at night.
So let's think about the footage here from both of the phones.
So here's a low light front camera test on the Vivo X200 Pro and the X100 Ultra.
This is being shot at 4K, 30 frames per second.
So I'm just going to pan around to get a feel for how these front cameras compare side by side in this environment here.
Out at night, some good lighting around me.
So again, just want to give you some real world footage this time.
In case you want to try to vlog or use your front facing camera here in a situation like this.
Get a feel for what it looks like with all that different kind of light back there.
Pretty warm, so if it's looking warm, that should be accurate.
And so I'm just walking to test the stabilization as well.
Let's see what this looks like side by side.
So let me know what you thought about the full camera comparison here between the X100 Ultra and the X200 Pro.
You see a lot of difference here with the X200 Pro.
Especially between the main cameras because those are different.
And how did you think about the telephoto performance?
Vivo's claiming that the zoom on the X200 Pro is a lot better.
They have a lot more AI involved in it.
And from what I can see, it seems to be pretty true.
But let me know what you thought and which one you would personally prefer to use and why.
And any other comments or questions, leave them down below.
And as always, thanks for watching.
