(Laliga 2024/2025): Highlights GIRONA - ATHLETIC CLUB

...of course qualified for the Champions League last season. Athletic fell just short. I think there is a case there, and the referee is going to have a look. Although it looks like it has, but he hasn't even asked for it. Well, he needed to see no more penalty spots for Athletic Club. And it's saved by Gazzaniga. I don't know who is struggling to keep a hold of possession. Ollantzan Zed chipping it over for Gorka Guruceta. Here is Dan Juma. Plays the one-two with Miguel Gutiérrez. Saved by Padilla. Played across the box. Back into the box from Asprilla. And surely Miguel Gutiérrez coming back from an offside position. Put off for Alex Padilla, but the linesman doesn't lift his flag. So, in the most unexpected of ways, Berenguer over the top. Sanchez controls it on the chest. It's a wonderful finish from Ollantzan Zed. Michel said he was a special, unique, different kind of player. And he's shown it there. Berenguer in support. Look at Iñaki Williams bursting forward. Berenguer puts the brakes on. Another player goes down. Gorka Guruceta fires the shot wide. Looked like it could have been a handful. He's going to have a look at it. Really going to help out Dan Juma's cause at all. And Andrés Reda has to tuck this one away. I cannot believe it. It's saved by Gazzaniga. A good cross from Gutiérrez. What a save by Alex Padilla. Well, some of the players are claiming that it went over the line. That's a good looking cross towards Tuani. Another remarkable save. That's a performance from Athletic Club's number three goalkeeper. As he collects that ball out of the sky. Going to check. It looks like he is going to check that coming together, which involved Ladislav Krajić. Penalty, Girona. And he shoots and it's almost saved by Padilla. He gets a hand to the ball. But there was too much power. What an end to a frenetic clash at Montelivi. One by Cristian Stoani's late penalty. The exchange between two managers who...
