It's a brand new year, and let's make this one count!
Introducing our latest 2023 workout calendar, which you can follow along with our videos.
Best of all, these workouts are suitable for beginners because they are not only low-impact,
but also knee-friendly. The link to the workout calendar will be in the description box below.
3, 2, 1, Begin!
Let's start with a simple exercise. Start with your feet shoulder-width apart
and palms facing forward. Raise your arms up as if you're drawing semicircles with your arms.
Or you can take it as if you're calling for help and drawing as big a semicircle as you can.
The goal is to allow your arms to warm up and get ready for this arms workout.

Now, let's bring our elbows up and perpendicular to our body.
In this exercise, you're going to start with your hands in fists with your thumbs closest to you.
Then, extend your elbows and arms as if you're trying to pull a string apart.
Hence the exercise name, String Pulls.
You can even hold it there for 1 second at the end of the pull to feel your triceps contract.

Next exercise! 3, 2, 1, Begin!
This should be a simple exercise to do. Simply extend your arms forward for a clap
and then bring both arms behind you for another clap at the back.
It's as easy as that! There's an added bonus of a stretch
which you could feel around your chest as you back clap.

3, 2, 1, Rest! Next exercise!
3, 2, 1, Begin!
One of my favorite exercises, the Tricep Kickback.
Stand shoulder-width apart with a very tiny slight bend at your knees.
Hold your hands in a fist and start with your fist at your chest, elbows bent.
Then, extend your arm by bringing your fist backwards
and hold it there for 1 second to feel your triceps contract.
10 seconds! 3, 2, 1, Rest!
Next exercise! 3, 2, 1, Begin!
This exercise could be a double action as you step side to side
while curling your arms towards you. Make sure that your palms are facing the sky
throughout the exercise while you perform the arm curls to contract your biceps.
20 seconds! 10 seconds!
3, 2, 1, Rest!
Next exercise! 3, 2, 1, Begin!
Now let's get down to the ground and start in a kneeling plank position.
Your hands should be shoulder-width apart as you use one hand to push yourself off the ground
and the other hand would support and push yourself to a push-up position.
Then, lower yourself by bringing one arm down to the ground
before allowing the other arm to follow suit.
If you find this too easy, you can do it without kneeling too.
10 seconds! 3, 2, 1, Rest!
Next exercise! 3, 2, 1, Begin!
Now let's stretch out wide with our arms, palms facing down and fingers together like a palm
slicer. Keeping your upper arms still, bring your palms towards you by bending your elbows
in a horizontal plane. 20 seconds!
10 seconds! 3, 2, 1, Rest!
Next exercise! 3, 2, 1, Begin!
For this exercise, you can do it seated or standing. It's all up to you!
Open your arms wide apart with your palms facing the sky and touch your shoulders.
You can contract your biceps a little as you touch your shoulder
by holding it there for a second before returning it to the original position.
20 seconds! 10 seconds!
3, 2, 1, Rest!
Next exercise! 3, 2, 1, Begin!
Now let's end this arms workout with a quick stretch.
Place your left arm across your body and your right arm pushing the left elbow towards you
to feel a stretch. Do remember to keep your left arm straight for this stretching exercise.
20 seconds! 10 seconds!
3, 2, 1, Rest!
Last exercise! 3, 2, 1, Begin!
Finally, the last exercise by switching to the other arm for the stretch.
Similar to the other side, bring your right arm to the left and use your left arm to gently push
your right elbow closer to you. Hold it there as you feel the stretch till the end of this workout.
20 seconds! 10 seconds!
3, 2, 1, Rest!
