Introducing “Born to Bring Us JOY!” a brand-new Christian Christmas song by Angie Killian celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ. This song is so catchy and fun for children and people of all ages. Make sure to catch the last 30 seconds when the “Joy to the world!” part comes in–it is so much fun! Jesus Christ truly was born to bring JOY to the world!

I love the role that the angels and the star played in the Christmas story: they used their gifts to tell the world about the birth of Jesus Christ. This thought inspired my favorite lyric in this song which comes in the bridge:

“Like the angels and the star that testified that night,
I will sing and I will shine so all can come to Christ.”

It is my special prayer this Christmas season–and every season–that we each find the special gifts we’ve been given and share them with the world to glorify God and lead others to our Savior.

Merry (much early) Christmas from my family to yours!

Lyrics:
The angels echoed through the sky
The night that Jesus was born
To tell the world the Lord has come–
Born to bring us joy!

The shepherds, hearing their song that night,
Came running from Bethlehem’s hills
To kneel before the baby boy–
Born to bring us joy!

Singing joy! Joy! Joy to the world!
For Jesus our Savior is born!
Joy! Joy! Joy to the world!
He is born to bring us joy!

A bright new star lit up the sky
The night that Jesus was born
To tell the world the Lord has come–
Born to bring us joy!

The wisemen, seeing the star that night,
Came running from faraway lands
To kneel before the baby boy–
Born to bring us joy!

Singing joy! Joy! Joy to the world!
For Jesus our Savior is born!
Joy! Joy! Joy to the world!
He is born to bring us joy!

Like the angels and the star
That testified that night,
I will sing and I will shine
So all can come to Christ!

Singing joy! Joy! Joy to the world!
For Jesus our Savior is born!
Joy! Joy! Joy to the world!
He is born to bring us joy!

Joy! Joy to the world!
For Jesus our Savior is born!
Joy! Joy! Joy to the world!
He is born to bring us…

Joy to the world!
Joy to the world!
Joy to the world!
He is born to bring us joy!
