Hi, I'm David Yoder, Senior Vice President, Federal Employee Program for the Blue Cross Blue Shield
Association. Through the Blue Cross and Blue Shield Federal Employee Program, we've had the
privilege of providing medical coverage to U.S. Postal Service employees, retirees, and their
families since 1960. This year, open season runs November the 11th through December 9th. This is
always an important time of year, but with the introduction of the Postal Service Health
Benefits Program, or PSHB, we know many of you have questions about how this impacts your health
benefits. We are proud to say that the Office of Personal Management has approved FEP to be a
carrier in this new program. This means you will continue to receive the same FEP coverage you have
today in 2025, but through the new PSHB program. That includes access to 2 million providers in
the U.S., comprehensive prescription drug coverage, incentives and discounts, along with the best-in-class
customer service. If you're a current FEP member, you will automatically transition to the PSHB
version of your current FEP plan for 2025 coverage. You don't have to do anything if you want to keep
the plan you have now. Your coverage under the PSHB will begin January 1st, 2025. You'll receive a new
member ID card and information from us after Open Season ends. If you have any questions about our
PSHB coverage or what you can expect in 2025, you can visit the dedicated postal section of our website
at FEPblue.org slash USPS. Thank you for continuing to put your trust in FEP
to deliver the health coverage you deserve.
