What the 'Cool Girls" are Wearing in Fall 2024 (not cringy. well kinda.)
Hello and welcome to my channel. In this video we're going to talk about the cool
girl trends or what the cool girls or what the it girls are going to be wearing
this fall. I sound and I feel very cringy when I say that. I'm not really sure
what I'm gonna call this video but that's what keeps coming to mind but
then when I say it it sounds like I'm not like a regular mom I'm a cool mom.
You know? These are the fall fashion trends that aren't necessarily sweeping
the nation like suede jackets or burgundy footwear but they are trends
that you will see people who are just really into fashion the fashionistas of
the world if you will might be wearing and probably not all of these because
these are very divisive trends just like I'm sure not all of you like the shirt
that I'm wearing. I very rarely if ever buy florals or prints for fall but I
just loved this top and so I love it. It's one of those that not everyone will but in
any case those are these trends and I'll also tell you which trends I'm like
really kind of on the fence of. This one is one that I actually do really love. I
already have something kind of in this trend actually but it is a fun trend for
fall and it's studs on different accessories. So studded handbags, studded
belts. I have a studded belt that I love. It started off with the Kate studded
belt and then now there's a lot of brands who make belts that aren't the
prices of Kate that have made this kind of brand. There's one from Madewell, one
from Below the Bell. I will actually link these below because these belts are so
cute in my opinion. Now Kate also came out with studded handbags which I think
are so cute. Love them. There's tons of dupes if you will for this bag that look
similar to it or have that similar look and feel that are out there right now. So
if you do like this trend it's kind of easy to find something. This is one that
I like in theory but will I be doing it out in real life? I just I don't know and
so it's white bottoms mainly white pants and white full maxi skirts for
fall. Like this seems like a summer thing and I mean it really you know white maxi
skirts and white pants for summer it's very normal just a very classic look but
for fall it's a little different. You know we're not really used to just white
bottoms for fall until we get into winter and then we get the winter white.
So I feel like this is kind of a new fresh fun trend and of course I'm sure
you have white bottoms sitting in your closet. I do actually like this look
whenever I see it on other people and I think it's really beautiful and
interesting. It's just kind of one of those I would need to put on myself and
go out into the world to see if I actually like it or if I feel like I'd
rather just wear them in the spring and summer. Here's one that might bring you
back and you know in the fall we start to layer and layering is a really great
way to easily look more stylish during the fall and so one layering idea that
is definitely a trend is to put the white t-shirt underneath your crew neck
sweatshirts crew neck sweaters and even maybe even a cardigan. I tried this in
the past and the way that I had it I just really was not into it on me and
that definitely goes along with the 90s vibe. That's a very like last time I did
that was definitely 1994. It's kind of one of those trends that's come back
around. I think this could be kind of fun fun to play around with and it's just
another idea of ways to play around in your clothes. This next one is a trend
that I immediately jumped on and that is rare because normally it takes me a
minute to decide whether I really like a trend or not but this one I just saw it
and I just said that makes so much sense. I love this and what it is is wearing
your bracelets over your sleeve just like this so it makes sense guys hear me
out okay you're in the winter it's in the fall and it's chilly it's cold you
can't pull up your sleeves like you did in the spring and summer and show off
your wrist and show off your bracelets so why not just put them over your
sleeve. I did this in a video recently and it hasn't posted yet so I don't know
if you guys will notice but I did that recently and I just I really like the
look I don't know what it is about it it just seems so functional but different
and also I can use my cool bracelets that I have this one is actually from

pieces for everyday wear. Most of my jewelry collection now consists of
pieces that I can put on with a lot of my regular clothes my casual clothes but

have already seen it running around your city USA already and I think it's just a
fun it's a fun and interesting trend especially for fall and it's the kind of
neon blue you know neon and pink neon and blue striped shirts. I want to say
that Free People was the one that came out with this first and now there's just
like so many companies that have come out with this kind of shirt and I've
seen them here in Florida already I've just seen them you know being worn a lot
of course very casually so it could be a fun casual trend if it speaks to you.
Here's another 90s throwback trend that I keep seeing more and more of and as
I've said in some video I personally just me personally when it comes to
loafers I like a good classic loafer I just I don't want it to be crazy chunky
I don't want it to be lots of embellishments or anything I just want a
classic one but what is trending in like the fashionista world in the loafer
category are the heeled loafers it's a loafer with a heel I am I definitely had
some of these in 1997 it's one of those I just I'm not I love that for the
people that it works for and I well if I see somebody wearing it I will 100% walk
up to them and say I love I love what you're wearing but I would love it on
that person it won't be on me I just it's not for me this is a trend that I
just noticed in fashion over probably the last year or two time kind of flies
sometimes it may be the last five years I don't know but it feels like about the
last year or two and what it is is first let me tell you you're do you
remember a few years ago if you were watching a video that was like how to
look you know things that make you look dated one of the things would be to
match your bag to your shoes dated look you know several several years ago it
just almost looked like you were kind of stuck in a time warp or something well
I'm happy to say that that is kind of a trend right now it's becoming more of a
trend and more popular to match your shoes to your bag or match your belt to
your bag or your belt to your shoes that kind of thing however the way that is
different this time because they're always different when they come back
around this isn't a rule you are not breaking any laws if you don't do this
if you were to wear black shoes and a green bag which I've done before I did
the other day actually you're not breaking any rules it's not like oh my
gosh what a fashion faux pas she's not wearing the same color blah blah blah
it's not like that anymore okay maybe that's what it was before there was a
rule you match your bag and your shoes or whatever it's not that rule it's just
like a little fun trend people are just really matching them together especially
with the burgundy you got burgundy shoes burgundy bag maybe burgundy tights in
some cases won't be in my case I feel like I wouldn't look right with that
look but that is kind of a little bit of a trend will this sweep the nation I
don't know I mean it's really you know I think about is it practical am I
always gonna want to go so far as to match my burgundy shoes with a burgundy
bag that would be kind of tough so you know it's fun in the nail category and
you will notice I have nothing on my nails but I have to take a break every
once in a while they just get I just stop stop wanting to keep going and
keeping up with it so we've been on a break we're gonna come back to it though
very soon anyway nail colors are gonna be really big this fall are gonna be the
Browns I don't know why I keep holding my hand up because I don't have anything
on my nails so the Browns and the burgundies or the maroons and you could
really go lots of different shades of brown and there's of course several
different shades of burgundy and maroon that you could go with I can definitely
tell you the next time I get my nails done which will probably be whenever I
can find the time soon ish it will be one of these two colors I'm actually
thinking brown I've always liked that taupey kind of brown color so I feel
like that is probably in my future here's one I'm just not ready for yet
I'm just not ready and and in my head it just feels like I would look kind of
juvenile if I did it but I'm not saying I won't do it because sometimes it just
takes me a while but the trend and this is coming back this is a trend from
2014 or 15 but it's having your socks peek out the top of your tall boots so
you have a like riding boot on or some kind of biker boot it's you know goes up
to your knee and then you have socks that are peeking out of the top but that
is a big trend right now I shouldn't say big trend it's a big trend amongst the
like you know people who just love to play around with fashion so let me know
if you like that because I know I know you remember it from 2014-15 whatever
year that was that we were doing that so much it was just sweeping the nation so
that is back I would love to know if you think you're gonna be doing this again
and though the way it is a little different too is it's gonna be more more
with skirts and shorts not so much the skinny jeans but maybe it will so this
will be one that'll be fun to watch and just see you know what happens with it
so those were some fun trends for fall 2024 am I telling you you need to run
out and do all of these in order to look cool or anything crazy like that no no
girl no this is a fashion video it's one of those things you look at and say okay
that just gave me a really good idea or you're like no let someone else do that
it's just not for me so I think these are so fun I there's a lots of trends
that I'm like no love it for that person but not for me and I just think it's fun
to see what people come up with fashion people can be so creative and I just
love looking to see what happens with fashion it would be super boring if we
all dressed exactly the same like y'all know it would it would be incredibly
