How to BBQ Pizza - Summer Grill Life Hack

Today, I'm going to show you a great trick for barbecuing a pizza.
Perfect if everyone else is having a barbecue, but you fancy something else.
Or maybe your oven's broken down, and you need a different way to cook it.
Start by placing some charcoal in your barbecue.
And I'm using this lighter gel to get it started, because it makes it really easy.
Once the charcoal is nice and hot, and ready for cooking on, spread out the coals.
And place on the grill.
If you try cooking your pizza straight on top of the grill, like this.
You'll find that although it looks great from the top,
when you look at the base, it's actually black and burnt.
The heat from the coals was just too intense for the pizza.
So we're going to use a cupcake tray, and sit the pizza on this.
The coals will heat the air in the pockets of the tray,
which will cook the pizza instead of burning it.
So place it on the grill,
and sit the pizza straight on top.
Place the lid back on, and let the pizza bake.
Make sure you keep checking it,
and it doesn't take long before it's smelling amazing, and cooked all the way through.
Carefully slide it onto a board,
and it's ready to serve.
This time you can see the base is nice and golden, and not actually black.
And if we lift the whole thing up, you can see the patterning underneath,
and how the hollows in the cupcake tray stopped it from burning.
Pretty cool, huh?
