What Milwaukee Impact Wrench YOU should buy!!! M18 or M12? High Torque, Mid-Torque, or Stubby??

What's up guys, it's Connor Jordan from Tech's Choice Tools and today we're going to be talking only about Milwaukee half-inch impacts, what you need to know, what you need to buy, just so y'all know, fully transparent, only informative video. We will say some prices of them, but y'all stay tuned for the rest of the video. All right guys, we're back and we are talking about the half-inch impact, three-eighths impacts over here. We're going to talk about the sizes, the power, all the different things that you need to know, just so you're the most informed when you're going to buy these tools from us. So guys, the Milwaukee half-inch impact, the newest model is the 2967-22. That's this bad boy right here. This is going to give you 1,500 foot-pounds of breakaway torque with a 5.0 battery or any other battery, except when you get a forged battery. When you get the forged 6.0 battery, that's the new battery made by Milwaukee, you're going to get 1,600 foot-pounds, a true 1,600 foot-pounds of breakaway torque with this impact. Another few features of this impact compared to its predecessor, the 2767-20, that's this guy right here. This gives you 1,400 foot-pounds of breakaway torque, the 2767, but it's only going to give you 1,400 foot-pounds. This guy right here already off the rip is giving you 1,500 foot-pounds, which is the same as the three quarter inch model of this one. And on a battery, you're going to get even more power than that. So a few of the differences, yes, you're going to see on the new versus the old. The new one is a little bit taller. Yes, it's higher off, but there's a reason for that. So the reason why it's about a half inch taller is because this shock absorbing area with the battery. So I'm going to take this battery off right here and I'm going to show you the underneath of this. So in the underneath, you're going to see this shock absorber. So basically what it does is instead of your tool when it vibrates and it's getting that terminal loose in the tool and making your battery loose and it causes problems with the tool and batteries, Milwaukee went above and beyond and took this technology from their one inch drive impact gun and threw it on this half inch to save you the time and save you the energy of having to get a new gun. So that's one thing on this. And then you're also going to be able to tell that they're smaller. So the new one is about an inch shorter in length wise, and then you're going to get more power. Like I've already said, my favorite feature of this, they took this from the mid torque, the trilobe light on the front. That's one of the best features that they ever put on a thing. So instead of having the light way down here on the bottom, that doesn't do anything for you. They put the light right here. So when you're using your fastener and you're trying to get something off, you're going to always have light on the area that you're working so you can see. So they have a mid torque impact. This impact right here, they also make them at 3.8s. This is the highest power 3.8s gun they have. And this is the middle, hint the name, mid torque for the half inch impact gun right here. So in this half inch impact or the 3.8s, you're going to get 600 foot pounds of breakaway torque on this. So we always say nut busting torque. That's what it says on the boxes. That's what Milwaukee calls it, but it's breakaway torque. So you're going to get a true 600 foot pounds of breakaway on either one of these. And like I said, they have the trilobe lights on the front of this. You can get this in a half inch or the 3.8s. We're selling these for, I think $269 on our website. Each, either one gets a free chemical resistant 5.0 battery with it. The kit options for Milwaukee impacts are crazy. They have two battery kits. They have one battery kits. They have now a one battery forge kit. They have every combination of you need. So I'm just going to go bare tool prices to keep it easy and keep it simple. But these two tools right here are $269, 600 foot pounds of breakaway torque. They're only about 5.1 inches in length. So you're going to get a lot smaller areas with this impact. Me and Matt personally, when we're using anything, like we're taking lug nuts off our tires or taking our, whatever we're using it on, we're not even grabbing this bad boy because this dude right here has so much power. You're going to be able to take almost anything off with it. These are trilobe lights. You have the four mode selector down here. So you're going to have the one, two, three, and then you have a reverse setting. This is a feature on M18 tools only. And Milwaukee actually has it on the, I'll stand corrected. They are on the M12 as well. So what they do, this motor right here, it's the lug nut safe mode. So when you're taking a lug nut off, instead of going full down on it and then reverse and pulling that off and stripping the bolts or stripping anything, they put it in lug nut safe mode is what it's called. And when it starts to come off, it slowly takes it off. So you don't strip anything and you don't ruin the threads on a bolt. So these guys right here, these are old, faithful for me and Matt. We love the three eights one. We also love the half inch. This is a great tool. Now we're going to go step down a little bit to the M18 stubby impacts. So the M18 stubby impacts, they are very similar. If you can tell to the M12 in size, they're both the exact same depth, length, whatever you want to call it on the impacts themselves. They're going to give you the exact same amount of power. So 250 foot pounds of breakaway torque on either one of these These right here go for about $249 a piece. Either one on the M18s, these go for about $199 for the stubbies, $179, $199, just depending on the deal. But these tools are great. Me and Matt, if we're going to go for a stubby, me, Matt, Drew, I'm going to shoot you to probably go the M12 route because for a 12 volt platform to have 250 foot pounds of breakaway torque is actually kind of insane. And then M18 wise, if you have the M18 platform, you don't have the M12, they make it for you here as well. All four of these tools right here still have the lug nut safe mode on it. So the reverse mode, when you pull it off, you're not going to strip anything. You buy these on our website right now, you're going to get free battery with it.
