Hello! Welcome back to the channel. I hope you're doing really really well. Today I have a makeup
tutorial for you but all the products I'm going to be using are going to be products that I think
a beginner will find very useful. So essentially I'm going to be building out a beginner-friendly
kit of products. I'm going to give you an affordable and a expensive product recommendation
so you can choose which one you want to get or try and yeah this was going to be most relevant
to you if you are looking to find like a go-to makeup look that you can just do no matter the
occasion and it's just going to be very simple and minimal and it's also going to be extra relevant
to you if you have dry and normal skin types. I do not have oily and I don't have that much
pigmentation on my face that I need to cover on a daily basis so just keep that in mind. As for
prepping the skin, do not get confused by setting spray, primer. Those are all nice-to-haves but
they're not must-haves. Just before you start off your makeup, make sure you have either a layer of
moisturizer or a layer of sunscreen on, one that does not pill or make your makeup to break. So
these are my two recommendations. Episoft AC is an amazing affordable sunscreen and as for a
moisturizer, Physiogel is amazing. If you're looking for something more bougie then you can check out
BOJ's Sun Relief Sunscreen. This is SPF 50 and it does not break or separate your makeup and
makes your skin look very dewy. And as for the expensive moisturizer, I highly recommend
Embryolisse Light Cream Sensitive. Even the concentrate is nice but this one doesn't have
fragrance. I've already applied Physiogel on my face so I'm just gonna jump right into foundation.
You might want to look into skin tint and foundations if you need more coverage on a daily
basis. I do not. I prefer to build that coverage using concealer and I think that's a better place
to start if you're a beginner as well. So just diving right into concealer. As for an affordable
product, Maybelline Age Rewind is very very good. It gives you a lot of coverage without being too
heavy on the skin. I am in the shade 122 Sand. It is a little bit light for me but I make do
because I like to layer like bronzer and stuff. So yeah, I'm just gonna apply that under my eyes,
a little bit on my forehead, a little bit here, a little bit here. Not too much concealer. Again,
I do not need that much concealer but if you do have acne and pigmentation, you can do something
called spot concealing. My expensive alternative is MAC's Studio Fix Concealer. I'm also recommending
this keeping in mind the fact that in the drugstore category, it's sometimes very difficult
to find your shade match and MAC has probably all the shades you can possibly imagine and their
store experience is quite helpful if you're a beginner. They do match the product to your skin
tone. So yeah, this is a very nice formula. It's a very like great place to begin your makeup journey
like MAC is everyone's first makeup brand. To blend this out, I'm taking a pack brush in number
231. I'm doing tapping motions because that is the only motion that can help product stay where
you put it and once you get to the outer half of your face, start blending it in circular motions.
That's going to spread out the coverage. Do you get what I mean? Tapping motions if you want to
keep the coverage where you put the concealer or any other cream product and brushing motions for
when you want to spread it out. I'm just going to zoom you in a little bit. So you can see you've
got like a nice one layer of color to work with. If you have a lot of pigmentation on your eyelid
that you want to cover you can put the same concealer onto your eyes. Usually I like to work
with the pigmentation that I have on my eyelid which is more like a brownish orange color which
is why I really really like peachy orangey nude tones on my face because it ties into my pigmentation
and that's like a pro tip if you have pigmentation work with it not against it. Now if you want to
add a little bit more coverage you can take the concealer again as I am and I'm just going to
take a little bit on my finger and put it on my area and just tap it into the skin. So the next
thing we're going to do is dive right into our contour slash bronzer. I like doing something
called contour bronzing that's a term that I came up with because it's in between contouring and
bronzing. You don't really need contouring like the pro level contouring with the ashy gray color
and all that on like an everyday basis so I'm going in with tipsy beauty's silk cushion contour
in the shade maple syrup. It is a very like dark brown chocolatey color but the thing you're gonna
do is put it on the back of your hand before you apply it on your face otherwise it's just
going to overwhelm your face and make it too dark and difficult to blend out and we don't want that
so you're going to take it warm it up nicely on the back of your hand and you can literally just
go in and place it right below your cheekbone and above the hollow of your cheek then a little bit
on the forehead and just to blend these two out maybe a little bit on the outer edge and if you
you're gonna take the same brush it literally doesn't matter this is how I started makeup
I used one brush for everything so I'm gonna use the same foundation brush in fact it makes it
easier to blend out product because it already has a little bit of a concealer from before
so I'm just doing rubbing motions now because I don't want the coverage to stay where I put it
because it is contour does that make sense it's the opposite of what we did for the concealer so
we're just going to blend it downwards for this part you're going to do in circular motions
same thing for the forehead that looks pretty nice warmed up my face in like the best way
then we're gonna put the same contour product why do I say contour contour anyway we're gonna take
it on this Kryolan eyeshadow brush number art 1707 it is literally my favorite blending brush
of all time simply because it is so cheap and effective so for the eyes we're gonna place it
on the outer corner and then start going in circular motions very small circular motions
and take it to the inner corner and once you reach the mid-range just start doing sweeping motions
that's just gonna blend out your shadow you can see it's a very subtle difference but that's what
I mean by working with your pigmentation and not against it if you have cool tone pigmentation on
your eyes or on your face anywhere then you can work with cool tone colors especially around the
eyes yeah so we're going to do the same thing we're going to take a little bit more and now
go underneath the eye and finish the other eye my expensive contour product recommendation a
contour is the Clinique chubby stick this is in the shade 01 curvy contour it's the nicest
it's very similar to this one actually you see okay next we're gonna go into blush for which
I have been loving the Kero multi stick in the shade 01 vintage rose this is such a nice
pinky color like I just love it now again we're gonna put it on the back of our hand
look at that color stipple in your brush pick up the same brush and then go right underneath your
eyeball on your cheek do tapping motions because you want to keep the blush where you're putting
it tie it in you can put a little bit on your nose and take it onto your forehead
and a little bit of line now if you want to keep your look very very monotone you can add a little
bit more use your same eye shadow brushes earlier and just blend it into your eye to get the same
color on your eyes as well as for an expensive blush the huda beauty blush filter has been
such a lovely formula that I've been liking a lot so there you go it's a nice nudie pink color now
essentially our base is done if you want more coverage you can add a little bit more concealer
on like specific spots where you need it if you want more bronzer you can go ahead and add that
if you want more blush you can go ahead and add that but each step of the way you're gonna check
in the mirror my mirror is here you're gonna check what you're looking like from far away
and make sure you like the overall look of your look if you are specifically looking in like a
very close mirror and doing just your eyes for example sometimes you forget to make sure that
your eyes are balanced with the cheeks and the lips etc so keep looking at yourself from far
away and that's a very very important and often overlooked thing that we all do I think I want a
little bit more concealer and this time because I already have blush and contour that I don't really
want to move I'm gonna take a little bit on the back of my hand and then I'm gonna take a wet
beauty blender this one is from type beauty and we're just gonna stipple it in pick up some color
and then just I love the angle of this because it gets right into the corner and just tap it in
exactly where you need it this is gonna give you a little bit more of a brighter under eye look if
you especially use a sponge like this I'm gonna now add a little bit of a smoky eyeliner okay
for my kajal I'm gonna be using this guy's all day gel kajal this one is so beautiful it doesn't
smudge at all after it dries down but before it dries down I'm gonna take a little bit of it on
my brush and I'm gonna blend it all across my lash line this is just gonna add a little bit of a
wing or what resembles a wing and then you can just clean it up from here and you'll get a wing
if you have a lot of skin essentially that isn't cooperating you can literally just hold it up like
this and go straight in once you've blended out your eyeliner you can literally just
clean it up with a wet wipe and you will be left with a beautiful crisp wing and whatever's around
it just blend it in using your finger you can also take the concealer brush that you used earlier or
the sponge and just blend it out so that it looks even and I'm just gonna do this on the other eye
okay so that's the kajal done on both eyes you can tight line your waterline upper waterline
if you want with this kajal I'm gonna skip it today but feel free to do that it's gonna make
your eyelashes look more bold and voluminous if you do as for an expensive kajal that I really
really like that's just a beautiful smudgeable kajal again I have a huda beauty one this is the
creamy kohl and it is amazing like wow what a formula then we're gonna jump right into mascara
if you are using affordable mascaras I have not found a single mascara that gives me that
voluminous eyelash look so I highly recommend using a primer this is kiko milano's building
base coat mascara it's white in color coat it on your eyelashes let it dry for a bit and then go
in with your mascara this is also really critical if you don't like using waterproof mascaras like
me and when you do do your mascara make sure to place the wand at the bottom of your eyelashes
and then rotate it inwards and then wiggle it out that way it catches every single eyelash
do the same thing on the other eye then you're gonna let that dry I do not have an expensive
eyelash primer recommendation because I really don't think you need it more affordable option
than the kiko milano one is the brash primer from fae beauty okay eyebrows for eyebrows I'm gonna
be using bougie products because nothing performs quite like a benefit product when it comes to your
eyebrows I've not found a single product in the drugstore category or affordable category
that compares so before I get started with drawing on my eyebrows I'm gonna first comb it out then
I'm gonna take the very very precise tip of this brow pencil we are gonna start somewhere in the
middle like here very very light hand just look where I'm holding the pencil it's like all the way
in the middle like the bottom half start with the very very soft lines and then cover any patches
you have as for the end just do one line that's it and then you're gonna come to the top section
which is here and then draw the line straight out and then once you finish wipe off that's
literally all I do we're gonna do the same thing on the other side now you're gonna take the other
end of the precisely my brow pencil I'm in the shade five by the way and then you're just gonna
comb it through your eyebrows this is going to help blend out the product that you just applied
and make it really fluffy I just love this pencil so much I use it literally I use it every single
time I do my makeup I don't know what to tell you okay we're gonna use 24-hour brow setter from
benefit this is again probably my favorite brow gel in the entire planet nothing compares this
gives you the nicest finish ever okay then you're gonna do the other side again I don't have an
affordable eyebrow gel recommendation you can get away with using fay beauty brash in the shade dark
brown it's one of my favorites but this one the benefit 24-hour brow setter is more like a glue
and so nothing compares we're gonna now take fay beauty brush in jet black we're gonna use the
shorter side of the wand place it at the bottom of your eyelashes wiggle it in between and roll
it outward place wiggle roll place wiggle roll I got my mascara everywhere I think my brush is
dried out we're gonna also do the bottom lashes repeat this on the other eye to remove this
mascara I'm just gonna use my spoolie that's it gone and that's how the lashes look I love
brash so much as for an expensive mascara I highly recommend smashbox superfan again if
you've been on my page for a long time you will know this mascara I use it all the time it's one
of my favorites and you can use it even without a lash primer and you'll still get this look
another even extra bougier mascara recommendation is ysl lash clash I love I just love this one
and all of these formulas are non-waterproof formulas because that's just what I like honestly
we're almost done the only thing that's left is lips so I'm first removing all of the lip balm
that I have on this is color chemistry's kajal in kj02 it is by far the most perfect lip liner
color I've come across ever so I'm just gonna start on the outer corner and then do you see
how pigmented that was it's amazing once you have your outer line you're gonna go in with lipstick
now obviously there are so many different formulas and so many different lipsticks that I could
recommend to you we'd be sitting here all day so I'm just gonna use a random lipstick and it doesn't
mean that that's the only one that I recommend there are as I said so many you can choose from
obviously gonna be using a peachy brown lipstick because that's what my eyes are I have a whole
video up on my instagram recommending lipsticks in that shade range today I'm going to be using
simply nans liquid lipstick in the shade madhu it's a caramel brown apparently that's looking
quite orange no let's go back in with the lip liner it looks stunning actually I changed my
mind it looks really nice but you can always dab off the excess and because we're in a glossy era
we obviously have to use a gloss let's go in with fabe beauty's gloss gloss in the shade emerging
I don't like to touch the tip of my gloss on my lipstick so we're going to squeeze it out onto
the back of our hands nice now I feel like my blush has gone away so I'm going to make it a
little bit more monochromatic I'm taking the same liquid lipstick back of my hand I'm taking the
same brush stipple it in as for expensive lipsticks that I really like I'm going to start with a lip
liner just a random recommendation as I said this is not an exhaustive list but I really like the
makeup forever artist pencil this is the shade endless cacao it's way more cool toned than this
one but it's lovely I really like the chanel rouge a la lac formula especially this shade
63 ultimate is such a beautiful pinky nude and as for a gloss my recommendation is the huda beauty
faux filler lip gloss or the dior afterglow lip maximizer in 001 another favorite gloss formula
is the bobbi brown crushed lip gloss in the shade force of nature it's amazing you have to try it
I want to spray a little bit of setting spray because I look very matte and I like looking
dewy because I'm a dry skin girl the grass is always greener I'm gonna use pax dewy hydrating
mist possibly my most possibly my most favorite bougie primer water formula is the smashbox primer
water it just makes your skin look so dewy and healthy oh my god I love it and I think that's
the final look guys I think we're finished I just love how it turned out like even in the viewfinder
wow this really truly is such a beginner friendly makeup look so yeah that's the final look I hope
you like the final look let me know what you think and I really really hope you found a new product
