[S1- Eps. 12] Need Water!

Riding my Royal Enfield Himalayan (2018) through Assam in North Eastern States, India. Figuring out a motorbike route is an every-day challenge and I decided on Lanka as my destination: about half-way towards Nagaland. As always, Google Maps directed me straight through the heart of the forested hills and passing small villages where everybody was kind of eye-balling me. Not many bikers, or foreigners, or foreigners on motorbikes pass through these lands! I didn't realise there wouldn't be any small shacks selling water on the way, so when I finally spotted something drinkable - I HAD to stop. And guess what - my belly took it like a champ. Didn't get sick and the water tasted delicious :)

Good morning internet, it is 7.15 in the morning and welcome to my channel
So I've been studying the map a little bit, figuring out where I'm going to go next
So let me show you
So I am now here in Shillong and I want to go to Nagaland
But to reach from Shillong to Kohima in Nagaland that is just too far to do in one day
So I'm thinking you know
Go somewhere in the middle
So today I am riding to Lanka
So I'm about halfway now
I've been passing a lot of small villages where judging by how the people are eyeballing me
They don't get a lot of foreigners there or motorbikes or foreigners
But it's been a good ride so far and now I'm kind of in a jungle kind of situation
I am so thirsty, there's no shops, nowhere, nothing
Nothing to buy water so
So I made it to Lanka
I'm staying in a room which is not the nicest I've ever seen
And the toilet doesn't seem to be working
But they let me park Basanti inside so kudos for that
