Emma Stone rushing back to her seat mid-Oscars, and for a good reason.
You can have fun with him.
It all went down in this video captured by Refinery29,
as the actress stepped out of the award show and into the lobby between categories.
But Emma didn't realize the award for Best Makeup and Hairstyling was being announced,
a category in which her film, Poor Things, was nominated.
And the Oscar goes to...
Poor Things.
Yeah, that's Emma in a full panic,
trying to get back to her seat to cheer on her collaborators, who won.
She's amazing and everything works on her, so it does make your job slightly easier.
But yeah, it's always an amazing collaborative process with her.
I am Bella Baxter, and there is a world to enjoy.
Circumnavigate.
What was it like hopping into this world every single day?
It was heaven. I loved it so much.
We worked on it for years before we, you know,
before we started filming to actually be in it.
And those sets and those costumes, everything that you're, that you're talking about.
It was just, it was mind-blowing.
Later in the night, Emma got the support right back from her Poor Things fan
when she took home the Oscar for Best Actress.
And the Oscar goes to...
Emma Stone.
It has been such an honor to do all of this together.
I hope we get to keep doing more together.
Emma, to no surprise, using her winning moment to thank her cast and crew.
It's about a team that came together to make something greater than the sum of its parts.
And that is the best part about making movies, is all of us together.
And I am so deeply honored to share this with every cast member, with every crew member,
with every single person who poured their love and their care
and their brilliance into the making of this film.
