Cottage Tour | Our cosy home in the Welsh countryside 🌈

Hi and welcome to my home and my channel. This is Lupa, my beautiful rescue dog, who would love her dinner. Say hello, Lupa. Say hello to everybody. So I posted a video recently showing the moving in process and the decorating process, and I thought this would be a good time to finally give a little house tour. It's not quite finished, but no place truly ever is, I think, especially as we evolve and change and our styles evolve and change. When I was decorating this space, I wanted it to feel warm and friendly and also very peaceful. It can get quite dark and gloomy here in the winter, as you might have seen if you saw my last video, and I wanted to decorate in a way that would kind of combat that a little bit and feel a bit friendlier. I also wanted to include both mine and Alex's personality in the decorating a lot, so that it felt really like both of us, and we have quite different styles. I would say Alex has got a bit more of a modern style, whereas my style is a little bit more vintage. We are both very sentimental people, so we collect little knick-knacks and bits and pieces from everywhere we go, and we like to display the little elements of nature, like stones and sticks and things that we find that pretty. I know our home won't be for everyone, which is fine, because it's okay for us, but with all that said, I will show you around. Let's go! So that was my home tour, and my animal tour. That's the most important part, isn't it? Thank you for coming to look around. If you would like to see more videos on life in the Welsh countryside, then please feel free to subscribe and leave a comment. I'm really, really enjoying being a part of this community. It can get a little bit lonely here, and I don't see my friends as often as I would like, so it's really nice to be able to talk to like-minded souls here on my little corner of the internet. Thank you so much for watching, and I'll see you in another video. Bye-bye!
