hey everybody welcome back to the
channel today I am so excited for this
video because I'm actually going to be
compiling a bunch of viral holiday DIYs
into one video you already know this is
going to be a good video cuz we have a
bunch of DIY projects these are all
projects too that I have kind of seen
trending this year for the holiday time
ranging from the oversized Christmas bow
that people are doing on their tree this
year to the little gingerbread houses
made from like the little wood bird
house is and I just feel like there are
so many cute projects coming out let's
go ahead and dive on into our first
holiday
hack so for our first project I want to
create a massive tree bow and as you can
see here I have a really large Christmas
tree behind me I remember buying this
for myself when I was actually in
college years and years ago and I've had
it for so many years probably like six
years now but I also wanted to make this
recreatable for you so I actually
ordered some tablecloths these are satin
tablecloths they do come in different
colors I actually have the red colorway
right here it kind of probably maybe
comes up a little bit more pink on
camera but it's so pretty and look at
like the satin it's really nice they're
$11 a tablecloth and they cover a pretty
large table but I thought we can use
this as the fabric for the base of our
bows how I'm thinking this going to be
done is I'm going to be using one
tablecloth for the bow portion on top
and then another tablecloth for like the
strands coming out of the bow I'm going
to pop these in the dryer quickly to get
the wrinkles out and then we can get to
crafting you can see how much better it
already looks I put it in there for like
2 minutes and I folded it in half I'm
actually going to cut about I'd say like
8 in off of one of our tablecloths
because that's going to be the center
part of our
bow so I'm just going to chop off some
put this aside for a sec this large
piece here is going to be our bow I'm
going to make sure that the satin side
of the fabric is against the table
because we are going to be adding some
chicken wire in the center of this to
structure
it here's the chicken wire I got this at
Lowe's it was like $10 for the chicken
wire so I think this bow will cost us
around $30 I'm going to go
ahead folding in the other
direction and then I'm hoping that this
will meet up and I can glue them
together
perfect this is going to be rolled down
the length and then the satin fabric is
going to be hot glued together just like
that the width of our bow here is going
to actually be the width of whatever
chicken wire that you're using glue them
together so add a
bead it doesn't have to be perfect
either because I feel like the looser
the fabric is the more of like that
flowy satiny look it's going to
[Music]
have now we will connect our ends in the
[Music]
Middle with the 8 in piece that we cut
off earlier I am going to just use this
as the center of the bow flip this
around and then hot glue this on the
back
side look how good this looks you guys
this is exactly what I was going for you
probably can't see this but I have some
just white floral wire um just any wire
that you have I'm actually going to just
kind of string this through the backs
side of our bow you can just pierce it
through my wire attached and we are
going to put this in the
tree does it look large and in charge
it's very large yes okay I need to take
a look I haven't seen it yet does it
look astronomical it's actually quite
cute yeah I like it looks like a
pillow we have half of our bow the
largest component you can also reshape
this if you'd like cuz it has that
chicken wire inside and now I'm going to
create the kind of pieces that fall from
the bow to make it look like a fully
tied bow with our second tablecloth I'm
actually going to cut this just directly
in half
longwise one of our ribbon ends I'm just
going to use a small piece of wire and
just wrap it around like the cluster at
the top just like this and just wire
this under the
backside of our bow you can just do a
little drape we're going for Grecian
we're going for coet and gorgeous
Vibes so cute is that
[Music]
sheep look how freaking cute this bow
turned out please don't look at my
internet down there I just focus on the
bow look look how cute you guys it
literally looks like a silk pillow
almost um I probably could go back
through here and do a little steaming if
I wanted to but I love how the
tablecloth actually drapes on the
branches and it's also really nice cuz
you can kind of like adjust it and tweak
it as you'd like to here's a look at it
kind of pulled back look how cute it
looks we're also figuring out the lights
up here they're not working at the
moment but do not worry cuz it just I
mean honestly I'm staring only at the
bow so I love it it looks so oh
good before jumping into our next
project I want to give a big shout out
to our sponsor Simply Safe I've been
using my Simply Safe home security
system for about 4 years now I actually
had one in my previous apartment and
when I moved into my own home I knew I
was going to be setting up a fullon home
security system and Simply Safe was the
option that I opted for because it is
the easiest no-brainer solution for
setting up home security it shipped
directly to your door and I was able to
set up my entire system in under an hour
and I did this a little over 2 years ago
but a recent addition that I added which
is actually an outdoor camera because
Simply Safe now offers their new active
guard outdoor protection old school
systems trigger once somebody's broken
in giving them time to still grab stuff
with simply safe's active guard
protection monitoring agents actually
react in real time to suspicious
individuals approaching your home that
way they're able to speak to them
trigger alarms or even request urgent
police dispatch if needed but something
cool is that simply safe's AI Tech
actually identifies familiar faces and
alerts agents to threats this means that
trusted visitors like your family
neighbors or dog walker are not going
going to be triggered as false alarms
the outdoor camera was extremely easy to
set up and I love how this is just super
functional I'm able to just check it
from my phone which makes it convenient
from anywhere around the world having
this extra layer of protection
definitely going into the holiday season
is especially a great time to add a home
security system because people know
you're going to have gifts for the
holiday time and that's when break-ins
actually most commonly occur so I too
want you guys to stay safe this season
so you can save 60% on your Simply Safe
security system when you sign up for a

Safe all right we're going to jump into
our next viral DIY project and this one
is so cute I've been loving seeing these
across social media and these are
creating little gingerbread houses out
of the $5 little wood houses that are
currently on sale at Michaels the ones
that are on sale at Michaels are
actually like these little Christmas
themed houses and they're currently
$4.99 this one is the Santa's workshop
but they have a bunch of different
styles of wood houses and I've been
seeing people across social media turn
these into gingerbread houses and it
looks so much fun use puffy paint we're
going to paint them Brown it's a really
simple project and I also grabbed this
one which this one is a wooden bird
house so this was not part of like the
$5 ones however I think this could be
such a cute gingerbread house as well
I'm mix a bunch of this with just some
of
this oh that'll be a gorgeous gorgeous
gingerbread kind of want to start off
with the little Workshop house so I'm
going to give this a full coat of our
brown paint to start so the white puff
paint is going to be our icing and then
this brown paint is going to be our
[Music]
gingerbread here's this one and Marie is
actually over here painting another one
oh wait am I doing that I don't know
which camera to look at going to be
using this tulip puffy paint this is
just in the color white we couldn't find
it actually at any stores locally I have
a feeling it's because this is a viral
project right now like super viral so
many people are recreating
this it's actually really cute how it
kind of looks like icing too like the
texture of it looks really nice this is
a little harder to decorate than I
thought oh but you want to know what
could be cute is like to outline our
little
sign okay then I'm going to do it also
has like some pre-printed details in
there that you can also follow so that's
kind of
[Music]
fun highly hanging cross the
door neighbor singing TS of your it's so
close hardly can wait waking up on
chrristmas
children dream
without a
care the
season
everywhere so come home there's no
better place waking up look how cute
this turned out I am obsessed with this
little gingerbread house project it
looks so good and I feel like there's a
bunch of stores that actually sell these
little gingerbread house like Decor
pieces I think anthropology sells
something similar to this but we crafted
this for probably around like $7 of
material in terms of paint and the
Little House figurine itself I think I
might like time lapse this one and share
the process of doing this one too but I
love how this looks and it has like a
little light inside as well I
think look how
[Music]
cute bells are rocking to The Chet no
nothing
else is the
same waking up on Christmas
Day waking up on

[Music]
Day we are now going to dive into a
project that isn't necessarily a viral
DIY project however I feel like every
store has a version of this around
Christmas time my shop last year had a
version of this and it was one of the
first items to sell out in the holiday
shop which by the way if you have not
checked out the holiday store over on
loone fox.com you guys you have to check
it out because we have so much freaking
holiday stuff this year ornaments
garlands wreaths everything last year we
had this brass picture frame ornament
and I'll pop it up on the screen it was
such a favorite and I know stores like
anthropology and a bunch of holiday
shops online have very similar picture
frame ornaments and I figured why not
make our own because I thought it would
be cute to make a bunch of them and then
be able to put little photos in them you
can even put small tiny paintings in
them if you wanted to I actually ended
up ordering these resin molds on Amazon
and you get a bunch of options in one
little pack and these are the perfect
size for like little ornaments and then
I also got a pack of resin this is the
epoxy resin Fast cure so this should be
a faster cure let's mix equal parts of
the resin with
hardener once your mixture is all mixed
I'm just going to pour them into our
molds very carefully and let them Harden
[Music]
it is now the next day and I'm going to
go ahead and take our resin out of the
molds and see how these turned out pop
out so so easy it's kind of satisfying
who this one is going to be good I can
just tell one's out I have this little
one the detail on this one is so good I
love the square shape that is so
cute look at that one it like reveals
the
detail the
S this one's stunning wow this one is so
pretty I love this one oh my gosh it's
like art newvo with seashells on the
sides and a little seahorse on the top
the really nice thing about having the
molds too is you could make a ton of
these so until your mold decides it
wants to break one day you can make an
unlimited amount of these ornaments
which is so fun we're just going to
start off by painting these black
because I want them to kind of look like
antiqu ornaments so I'm going to go in
with black so that it's in the deepest
parts of the ornament and then we're
going to brush a gold over top honestly
going to haphazardly paint these black
you probably could spray paint them too
it' probably be
[Music]
quicker they C black is on all of our
frames now so we can go in and do our
rubb and buff which is going to make
them gold this is in the antique gold
color I'm going to go in with like a
little detail brush like this and just
go right into the rubb and buff and
paint this right over the top of our
black sections but you can kind of go a
little lighter because you want the
black paint color to sit underneath
[Music]
I have a few old art books that I like
to pull Pages out of sometimes and
utilize them and so I think I'm actually
going to use this one here just going to
go ahead and place over the top my
little frames and then cut them out of
course you could put photos of whatever
you want inside of these but I think I
want to do like little oil paintings and
hang them on a mini tree
[Music]
radio up and the blinds put
down you love it when nobody's
around I want to call out B town but you
bite my lip don't make a sound I'll be
down if I'm leaving without you
[Music]
these look so good look how cute these
little tiny painting ornaments turned
out and I wasn't even planning on them
to be paintings at first they were just
kind of frame ornaments but they turned
into little oil paintings and I think
they turned out so cute I feel like you
can even make these custom as little
Christmas gifts if you wanted to or
something else I was thinking is hanging
this off of like a stocking with like a
little name in it and using it like a
little name tag or even using these as
like gift tags I know that'd be a lot of
work but could be a cute idea uh but I
love these and I'll link all the
supplies for you guys
below this next project we're working on
is actually one that I have seen going
viral across Tik Tok mainly and I think
I actually saw it on Instagram as well
but mainly short form content and that's
actually using a pool noodle to create a
centerpiece for your table and I've seen
a bunch of people do this but one lady
she did it and she bent the pool noodle
in half and then stuck these wine
glasses in it and and then zip tied them
together and added like floating candles
in the wine glasses but I really want to
do it with taper candles and I also
really want to make one for fall because
I'm actually hosting Thanksgiving this
year so I figured why don't I create a
fall one and then kind of keep in mind
that you can do the same exact thing for
Christmas time for our pool noodle hack
to create a centerpiece you're going to
use two pool noodles and as many
candlesticks as you'd like just make
sure they have a flat bottom on them
because we are actually going to be zip
tying the pool noodles around the candle
stick so you can opt for one pool noodle
and just cut it down the center if you
want to do less flowers or you can do
two pool noodles like I did and then
just zip tie it every other Candlestick
to make sure that everything stays nice
and in place and once it's all zip tied
together you are at the fun part where
you get to decorate the entire thing now
also keep in mind you can totally paint
your pool noodle if you want to paint it
like brown like the table or whatever
color you want to paint it as a base but
for this tutorial I really wanted to
just share with you like just straight
off the bat covering them fully with
stems and my stems here I actually got
them from two wreaths that I picked up
at Target on sale they have a bunch of
fall stuff on sale currently since we
are going into holiday and I found these
two wreaths and I just pulled all the
leaves out of the wreath bases and it
created the perfect amount of stems and
also the leaves were like the perfect
length for the centerpiece that I
created and I just repeated the entire
process going down the whole entire
length and I really wanted mine to be
grand especially for the purpose of this
video to share with you kind of how cool
you can actually make this and how big
you can make it the other great thing
too is that you can actually transport
this really easily so you can like put
it on top of your fireplace mantle or
put it on the dining table and kind of
move it around but just add all your
finishing touches some additional stems
a few candlesticks to finish it off and
that is how I created this really cute
pool noodle Center piece which is ideal
for Thanksgiving for Christmas dinner
whatever occasion you have coming up
we have made it to our final project in
this video and this one is more so like
a hack compared to the other ones which
I feel like were more projects this one
actually is a few different gift
dropping tools that I want to put to the
test and actually see if they make gift
dropping any easier I've seen these on
social media for the past couple years
when it comes to Christmas time and I've
never tried them out myself so I want to
give them a go and the first one is
actually the e.l.f cutting tool and I
was served a billion ads for this last
year like it is such an ingenious tool
and I think that the person that created
this like was a young guy and he made so
much money from this tool but then also
I saw this one and you clip this to the
edge of your table then it actually
holds the paper roll in the middle and
then you can also add your tape to it so
it just makes the process easy and I'll
also link them for you guys below so if
they do work you can pick them up I want
to start off first with the one I really
want to try which is the elf tool the
nice thing about using this is it kind
of keeps your entire roll intact so you
slip it over the roll like this and then
you would ass
essentially
slide it on down and it just cuts a
absolute perfect strip of paper every
time like I think that is absolutely
crazy and then you pull out how much you
want and it holds it for you and then
you kind of pull it down flip it and
slice that's just so nice and convenient
and I also know like let's say this is
the only tool you have you can also go
back through and even cut down like this
paper to be a little smaller this is
absolutely a 10 out of 10 and I know a
lot of people were creating dupes of
this um but this one is the patented
version and I'll link it for you guys
it's the little e.l.f this next product
comes with two clips and they actually
attach to the edge of your table so I
would just CLI one on like
this put a roll in actually move this
just a tad slide in your paper and then
youd clip on the other side
side and then look you have this nice
little gift dropping station so you can
pull your paper out and then you can
also take just a roll of Scotch tape and
clip it on the side and it will
hold I love how this just allows you to
roll the paper out it just keeps it nice
and tidy at the end and if you had a
bunch of presents to wrap I feel like
this would be really nice and come in
handy and I like how you can also just
clip it on the end of the table and that
concludes today's video of testing and
trying out viral holiday DIYs and I hope
that you guys liked this one and maybe
one or even four or even five of these
projects you might want to recreate for
your home this year or to pick up to
make your life easier such as a gift
dropping hack so let me know in the
comments down below if there was a
project in this video that you liked or
if there's one that you're going to be
recreating I would love to know I cannot
fully decide if I'm going to be keeping
the bow on the tree down here or not it
was more so like a creation that I
wanted to do because I've had a lot of
requests for it I've been seeing a lot
of people wanting to do large bows on
their tree this year but I think I think
I might go ahead and actually transform
that tree into like the holiday shop
tree because we have so many cute
ornaments over on the website and I want
to just put them all on that tree over
there until then I will catch you guys
over on Instagram and Tik Tok make sure
to follow me there both are Lone Fox

next one bye guys
