decorating for christmas! 🎄🎀☃️ VLOG

Hello guys, welcome back to my channel for another video today is very exciting because although it's only November 3rd today we are decorating for christmas Some people might think it's early But honestly, I think last year I decorated like mid-november And I like to be able to enjoy it for more than like just one month out of the year I don't care if it's not even thanksgiving yet Halloween is over and i'm over all of the pumpkins and the orange and I want christmas I have my let me show them christmas pajamas on head to toe. Are you kidding? Look at those socks cute I don't know people might think it's crazy. I told dev that we were decorating. She's like you're literally psychotic Because it's not even thanksgiving yet. But like I just think if you wait until december you only get literally 25 days to enjoy it and I want like two months to enjoy it and I want it to be up for Thanksgiving when people come over here, it just makes everything cozy So who cares and rooster's got a christmas toy. It's been a 12 hour time lapse Oh The tree this year I wanted a pink christmas tree With pink bows on it. So that is exactly what we did pink velvet pink velvet balls These were literally like five dollars a box from the at home store. I think I ordered them online and they're Perfect exactly what I wanted and also they're not breakable because we have a puppy now And he's already trying to eat the balls. He thinks i'm gonna give it to him Are you happy with how the tree's looking? I didn't know we had a pink tree this year until now But you love it, right? Of course. I love it I must love it You do love it, I don't mind it at all. I think it looks so pretty right? It looks cute All right, you're project over. How are you feeling? I'm happy because I love my pink christmas tree We already put all of our christmas mugs out. This is our current collection. We have like two shelves worth and They're all so cute. This one is one of my favorites kennedy got me this one. I think or did you I have no idea I think it was kennedy from anthropology I love that As you guys can probably tell my hair is a mess right now I need to Shower, it's hair wash day. And also it is a rest day from working out. I feel pretty sore I've been going to bar the last few days on and off and I also did like a really hard leg day the other day So it's time for a nice break day I leave my robes on the ground in the bathroom because the cats love sleeping on them Look at that face Hi, baby, like get out of my face All right, I just put on just a little bit of makeup I usually put on like skin makeup basically and don't do anything to my eyes just because it feels lighter But also I feel like a little bit more put together. Look how much hair i'm shedding right now I don't know if you can see that also the sun is going like in and out I don't brush my hair that much with short hair. Like that sounds kind of crazy But I just don't need to because it's like so short. It doesn't get tangled or anything So I like don't always brush it every day. I kind of just like fluff it up with my hands But right now since I showered it's shedding like all of the fallout from the last few days I know some of you guys are not gonna agree with this, but I am getting extensions at the end of the month I know some people are probably like no why I like the short hair but it's just because it's at like this awkward kind of length now and My birthday is in december and I really really really want to have just like long hair for my birthday I decided like when I go to get it highlighted, which is normally what I do I get like baby lights all over which I haven't gotten them underneath in a while as you can see This is all my natural hair color under here But i'm gonna get it all brightened up a little bit and then have some extensions put in so it'll probably be like down to Here I went through a phase where I loved it short and now i'm in a phase where I just really really really miss it Long and the best gift I can give myself is to do something that makes me feel really good about myself So that's what i'm doing. I already like discussed everything with my hair stylist She was the one that always did my extensions back in the day. She's really really good at getting extensions I'm getting hand tied which is what I used to have I feel like they are the least damaging extensions that there is and obviously you guys know i'm like Trying to keep my hair really healthy. I want it to grow out healthy I want to get to a point where I eventually don't need extensions anymore but just for now i'm gonna get I think it's gonna be like two rows my hair is so thick right now just because it's like Basically all grown in new healthy hair and I don't plan on bleaching it to the root anymore I know some people love that look. I love to that look I loved having platinum hair, but it is not good for your hair at all Like sorry to anyone that thinks you can have healthy platinum hair. I don't think you can I think regardless It does dry it out. It does make it thinner. You do have breakage like it's literally impossible to avoid So i'm just gonna keep it highlighted like this I really do like the rooted look like having a lot more of my natural color Which I feel like I do right now like the blondest part of my hair is kind of just like the front and maybe A little bit at the ends That's my plan And then eventually one day when it gets to be like nice and long or maybe even Before then I will probably have them out again And then i'm gonna get them depending on how long my hair is for our wedding I probably will get them just because I want like a specific look and I feel like i'll need like a lot of hair Around this area for it. That's my little hair update But anyway, i'm about to do a little quick blowout. My blowouts usually last me like a few days So it's one of my favorite things to do for my hair I'm gonna put in some of this way anti-frizz cream and then afterwards i'm gonna put in some of the way hair oil These two together great combination for a blowout. Let me do a little blow out real quick I like to rough dry it just a little this is the dyson love this thing I like to rough dry it a little with this attachment And then once it's rough dry and kind of messy looking I take the little round brush and I just go through it like pretty quickly Honestly, like I don't do anything crazy, but I feel like this method works the best for me So I literally just grab each chunk of hair with the brush blow dry it out and kind of spin it a little and then Drop it and my hair all kind of just like flows back. I don't know it works. So let me show you All right That is the finished blowout takes me literally like maybe 10 minutes tops to do The entire thing it ends up lasting me Like the next few days and my hair like just feels so voluminous and fresh and clean But like I don't know if you guys see what I mean Then it's an awkward length because I feel like it's like hitting past my shoulders now and I don't want it any shorter again But also it's just like I feel like if it's not here or here It's kind of like in this awkward grow out length in between where I don't really know what to do with it Besides like do a blowout. I just feel like with that little extra bit of fake hair. I'll feel complete All right. It is a few days later and jesse and I are about to go to the gym. We just had some pre-workout and jesse had some Cherry twist one of my favorite flavors of elani and then my plan is for after the gym Jesse doesn't know this yet, but I want to stop by target because of course there's a plan Because for one the gym is next to target, but also totally fine. I need socks Why you can just wash your socks? I don't know where they went They're in the laundry room like everywhere and then we can Get some things for the coffee bar because that's the one thing I haven't set up yet Like I have a bunch of random things in there, but like I need some other stuff I need some like little jars to put things in Maybe some like little toppings and things to put on top of like hot chocolate and coffee So that's what we're gonna do after the gym. But first we have a leg day to do. So let's go do it We finished our workout. We got some post workout protein shakes so good Cheers, it's almond butter honey protein chocolate protein Cashew milk i'm not gonna lie. It's probably loaded with sugar natural sugar. It's good, but it's like a milkshake Well, that's the point after a hard leg day. You want something that's gonna make you feel good and full Anyway, now we're at target So we're gonna go in and find the things that I need to Be able to decorate the coffee bar today because i'm sick of looking at a very bare plain Not christmas themed coffee bar. So let's go First purchase we're getting rooster A new jacket, that's your future Anything else that he might like he loves slippers. He would love this. I thought I could see him walking around with this That's cute Look at the broccoli and the banana. He loves bananas and the strawberry I feel like he would like this because it has this like chewy part Down to the christmas heaven I want to get this huge guy to put next to our fireplace All right, we're gonna get some of these little lights for the coffee bar i'm gonna get two packs just in case Oh, there's so many things look at the mini christmas balls. This is so oh my god I might have to do this. We have a little mini christmas tree at home. What next to the coffee? Yeah, isn't that so cute with pink or should we do like all white or colored? What do you think any any input? We already have a pink tree. So if you want pink do that. Otherwise just go gold classy. I think I want to do pink And then we need a little thing for it To match our big one. That's so cute I'm gonna get these ones, too Yes, you are Kind of a bust there was no marshmallows that I wanted hardly any candy was out. Yeah, they're not ready I'm ready. I'm trying to find some things for our fireplace to make it look a little more put together So we're experimenting these might get returned but it's worth trying. Okay now for the most important part of this vlog I'm getting socks because who doesn't love fresh new socks? Hi merp ever wonder what it's like to have an orange boy cat This is what it's like He gets times of the day where he literally just wants attention And so I just have to hold him for a few minutes like this and give him love. Oh, he's over it already Three spurs on everything probably I would not be using these like disposable cups ever But we got them from home goods like a few weeks ago jesse insisted He thinks that coffee tastes better when he drinks them out of these So he gets them and then he'll just like reuse them multiple times before he gets rid of them It's actually so good with that melted peppermint hershey kiss in it. It's like a white chocolate peppermint one I put it in I didn't know if it was gonna be good with the creamer that I have because it's coffee cake like cinnamon Coffee cake, but actually the combination of those two is really good I kind of want to get like a peppermint creamer though I literally hate answering the door for people, but i'm also sitting right in front of my front door So if I don't answer it, I feel like they'll see me in here Anyway, half the time I do just pretend i'm not home, but we just have someone here doing we have like anyway I'm gonna bore you guys telling you about my grass that isn't growing We had to hire somebody to help our grass grow because it was balding Anyway, this is the wrapping paper that I got for christmas this year. It was on amazon. It's in my amazon Did I like get my storefront? I don't think I did but i'll add it before this video goes up But it comes in like three packs So I got the bows stripes and then it's like this muted green color And then this pack is actually like my favorite ever because it has the little gingerbread man on it I'm obsessed with anything that has this pattern right now Like I have obviously it's on my coffee cup and then I got pajamas from skins that also had that pattern And then also just green and then like another red pattern which is so cute and then we're not done yet I also got this pink velvet ribbon because you guys saw obviously when we decorated I put pink bows on the tree because I wanted To add like a hint of like this blush pink to everything for christmas I just feel like it's so pretty and so like me like it makes everything feel just like more me if that makes sense So I got this ribbon to add. It's like a velvet pink This is also from amazon and I feel like it's gonna look so good with like the red and the green and the bows and the Gingerbread men i'm so excited. I also got these labels to go on all of my gifts and it's just like a giant roll of them I think it was like under ten dollars for this massive roll It has like 300 labels or something So I thought that these would look really good on everything with the pink ribbon as well I'm excited to start wrapping gifts I already have some to wrap honestly But i'm gonna wait a little bit until I get a bunch more so I can like sit down and do like a whole little Gift wrapping session, but I got jesse's biggest gift that came and he has no idea what it is And i'm not gonna say because like he's probably gonna watch this youtube video But i'm very excited because I don't think it's anything that he would expect I usually try to like think of something creative and I wouldn't say it's necessarily creative, but he just wouldn't expect it And I think he's gonna be Very very excited. I feel like the gifts that bring out somebody's inner child are what they end up loving the most If that makes sense So I can't wait to wrap that I honestly might wrap his Sooner rather than later because it's in my office right now Not that he would come in here and look but I feel like it's always just safer if it's wrapped because then he definitely can't Notice i'm so excited. I'm so excited for christmas and I literally can't wait. My sister's gonna be sleeping here, too So I need to decorate the guest room. I got like a whole bunch of stuff to decorate it Like I got these candy cane patterned duvet covers and pillow covers and things So i'm gonna do like a whole kind of like peppermint theme I got things for the bathroom from target target always has this one collection. It's called the wonder shop collection That's like super affordable stuff and it's all really cute. So I got a bunch of stuff from that and What else i'm just really excited to decorate? I told her it's gonna look like christmas threw up in The guest room because I want her to be able to like I don't know I feel like it's just like such a good feeling to come home for the holidays Like you always see movies and things like that. Like i've always lived at home So i've never like come home for the holidays but like imagine coming home for the holidays and everything is Decked out and like everything christmas and you feel like you're in like the north pole or something. So that's my goal
