Who Was Michael Faraday?

If you are looking at electricity with your learners, be sure not to miss Michael Faraday out of your planning. Carry on watching this video to find out more. Hi everyone, it's Rachel from Twinkle here and today we're going to be taking a look at resources all about Michael Faraday. Faraday made a lot of important contributions to the field of electrical science, particularly electromagnetism. Our all about Michael Faraday PowerPoint guides learners through Faraday's early life, major discoveries and the impact that he had on Albert Einstein. Our Michael Faraday fact cards can be used in a variety of ways. You could challenge learners to place the cards in chronological order. Ask learners to create a presentation all about Michael Faraday using the cards to help them order their thoughts. Place all of the cards on the table and then without learners looking, remove one of them. Can they see which card's been removed? Present learners with the first four fact cards, then ask them to create more fact cards in the same style to track the rest of Faraday's life. If you are looking for even more resources to help you teach about Michael Faraday, head to the Twinkle website and search for Michael Faraday. If this video and the resources have been helpful, make sure to leave us a comment to let us know. Thank you for watching and I'll see you soon.
