Until I was able to fight the current, I couldn't get away from it. I became weak. I knew that I would die. The last thing I knew, I was trapped. Pangyol, it's up to you now. Until I lost consciousness. It's up to me now. I will never forget God's salvation to me in those times, just like His salvation to me from the wrong religions. I used to be a Catholic. I married and worked in the Middle East. I was invited by my colleague in Born Again. I was baptized. I was there for five years. When I came back from the Philippines, I always saw my wife watching Brother Eli on Channel 13. One day, while his mother was watching, I also sat down and watched. I didn't know that I was also being watched. The next day, my wife invited me to eat at her house. I was at the gate. I felt different. We went back to Apalit several times until the mass indoctrination was announced. At first, Sofian wanted to be baptized, but he was not allowed. Because we had a small church, he was disturbed in listening. The next time I was baptized, I invited my wife to join us. With God's help, we were baptized on December 18, 2002 in the Almar locality. I can tell you that we were deeply moved when we were baptized. When my sister found out that I was in America, I went to the MCG, and she got angry. I heard that you went to Soriano. What were you doing in your life? I don't know what happened to you. I couldn't say anything to my sister. I just cried. I experienced different things when I was with my family. Just like when my wife and I went back to the province, my aunts and nephews were angry with me because I was defending them against alcohol. When we were able to raise our voices, I left. We became active as husband and wife. Less than a year later, I was entrusted with a Church duty as an auditor and group servant. The number of brethren in the Almar locality increased, and it expanded to the Sabate locality. Here, I was entrusted to be a deacon with God's mercy and help. Five years later, the Saranay locality was established. While the Saranay locality was still under renovation, something unexpected happened. When I was welding a post, I didn't realize that the electricity I was using had already been cut off. Until I got the electricity, I was forced to flee because I couldn't leave. Until I got the electricity, I couldn't leave. I felt weak. I knew that I would die. The last thing I knew, I was already dead. Damn it! It's all up to me now. Until I lost consciousness, I woke up when my brethren surrounded me. I was crying, and I was being wiped by a cold towel on my chest. My brethren told me that I fell from the tiles. The ceiling was seven feet high. They thought that I was already dead. Since then, I became more active in my work. I help in the ways of the Lord God. I became a member of the Church Of Christ through the help of God. I have been a member of the Church Of Christ for 11 years and 10 years as a deacon through the help of God. My wife is a member of the choir. My son-in-law is also a member of the choir I am Brother Renato Galang, and this is the story of my faith.
