Welcome to Arizona, where I cannot wait to show you what is behind these shutter doors. Hi guys,
I'm Shmee, hello, and welcome back to the channel, where today I am joining my friend James,
the Stradman, for this, his new hypercar, the Koenigsegg Agera HH. Not only that,
but the Aventador roadster Papa Strad is here, we have the Murcielago 40th as well,
but this car is a car with the most incredible of stories, the fact that James now owns this,
and I can't believe we're about to take it out for a run. Yes, your eyes do not deceive you,
this is a pink Koenigsegg, not just any Koenigsegg, but the Agera HH, and I have quite the backstory
on this car to tell you in a second, but it's here in the garage in Arizona with the 40th
anniversary Murcielago, and I drove this car with James back in Utah last year, it's an amazing
thing to experience, a gated Murci, then on the other side is the Rosa Acantis Aventador roadster,
in loving memory of Papa Strad, the car that James cut up himself to make into this widebody,
and I remember when it was having overheating issues as we were driving around Manhattan
in New York, but today we're here in Arizona for this one. I first ever saw this car nine years
ago in Los Angeles, ready for Gumball 3000 2015, the last leg from LA to Las Vegas, and it was
being driven by none other than seven times Formula 1 world champion Lewis Hamilton. I was actually
there at the grid in downtown LA when this car was there, being presented to Lewis, he was getting
his induction, being shown how it all works, ahead of departing from the city in the most unreal of
hypercar convoys. I don't think I've ever done anything like it, and there's been an amazing story
as well for James, a personal connection with this car which we'll talk about a little bit later on,
and the fact that he now owns it, when you know everything that's happened over that last decade
is mind-blowing. So in a second he'll pop out, we'll then get this started,
go out for a run, and go experience the Koenigsegg Agera HH.
Hello! What's up dude, welcome to Arizona! Thank you, it's good to be here, reminds me kind of the
old days right, the cars in the garage. Absolutely, just like Nick's house, but it's sunny, it's 75,
it's not a, well there's a couple clouds in the sky, it's so nice here though, in January. It's
absolutely beautiful, and as are the cars. Yes sir, not a bad two-car garage right? Not a bad
three-car. Not a bad three-car garage right, but the two pink cars together, it's such a cool one-two
punch. This is really crazy, and this is extra crazy, the fact that you own this car is like
surreal. I still feel like it's on loan, I feel like I'm borrowing it, and at some point someone's
gonna call me like, all right it's time to return the Koenigsegg now, it's gotta go back. So that
was the follow-up to the Bug, the Bugatti Veyron, which was a big deal, but I think this is an even
bigger deal right, this is like... It is, I've been trying to figure out the verbiage to describe
owning this car. Yeah. This is one of my all-time favorite cars of all time, like if you gave me
unlimited money, unlimited capital, I'd have three cars, and Koenigsegg Agera would be one of them,
like it's that special of a car, and the Veyron, love that car, I knew I would sell that car one
day, this car, I don't think I'm ever gonna sell her, she's that good. Yeah? It's one of 58, it's
the HH! It is the only one, we need to explain that a little bit more later on, but this is a
car with which you have a very close connection going back, and it's a, it's an epic thing anyway,
I mean, let's face it, for people like us, our age group, the Agera was like... Right, right, this was
the car, I mean, this put Koenigsegg on the map for me, personally, like I remember the CCX, the
CCXR, you know, I think it went 240 odd miles an hour, but when I saw the Agera, yeah, mind-blown,
absolutely, I mean, just like, from every single angle, I think the updated front end, that was
like a complete game-changer, I'm not knocking the CCX, but the Agera, I don't know what it is,
those headlights, like the shark eyes, it's just so cool. Well, it was a big, big step forward,
design-wise, we'll get it out into the daylight proper in a moment, playing with fire with that
carbon splitter there. Yes, sir, well, for some odd reason, I don't know why, there's a random
curb here in the garage, I've never seen it before, I don't know if that's an Arizona thing,
just to make your life easier. Yes, just to, I mean, could you imagine if I could pull the car
all the way forward, how nice that would be? Yeah. But instead, you're, you know... Yeah,
you'd be losing a carbon splitter. Exactly, and I do not want to know how or how much one of these
is, like, I don't know how you get one. I can just tell you it's a lot. Yes, of course, everything,
everything is expensive. And that's why this is the wrong way around, isn't it? Right, because the
wing, you back it in, it can overhang the curb, but if it was inverse, the front splitter would
be straight in the curb, so it's very technical. Yeah, the front of this is super low. Right,
and then the Koenigsegg is angled in because the Koenigsegg door with the mirror comes all the way
out. Yeah. By angling it in, you get enough space between that and the Aventador Roadster,
but then the Aventador with the doors, these are the most practical doors in the world. Yeah,
because you can park anything next to it and open it right up. There's a science to this. It's like
Tetris, you know, we played Tetris when we were in high school, and now we're playing Tetris with
supercars, because you get it, it's the same thing for you and me in England. I've done that,
been there, done that. The newer cars obviously have the sensors, so they don't bring it into
anything. Right, of course, of course. With this, you need to be careful. And that's one thing about
the Agera, you know, it doesn't have all that new tech, which is one of the reasons I love it,
but I do wish it had the auto skin, because that's so much fun. Like, push a button,
the door just pops open. That sounds like an excuse for the future to have a two Koenigsegg
garage. You said it, not me. When are you getting a Koenigsegg, though? Because you almost bought
the special one. I didn't. We'll maybe talk about that later, but you almost bought that car,
and that is amazing. I love that car. So shall we pull these out, because we're going to take
the egg, the girls are going to take the Aventador. Yep, let's run it. Give it a little
drive. Let's do it. Enjoy the weather. Let's do it. It's start time. Have you got the hang of
swinging in yet? Oh yeah, I'm a natural. I've been waiting my whole life for this.
Yeah, right, let's hear it then. Cold start.
It's got a rift exhaust. That's why it sounds so good. We can open it up if you want to see.
That thing, I have to be honest, I didn't realise how loud it was going to be, having just been
driving a bit with HyperNFTs at RS. This is seriously loud in comparison. Oh, look at that
colour. Wait for the sunshine to pop on it. This is absolutely phenomenal. Wow. Lift up.
Wow, wow, wow. We'll hop in, head somewhere with an amazing view
very shortly. Does this mean it's deafeningly loud Aventador time? It's an echo chamber.
Yeah. So it reverberates and it's straight pipe. So yes, very, very loud.
This thing is absolutely deafening. The Agera HH. Yes, sir. Insane, right? Absolutely insane.
It's also a lot louder. With that exhaust, it is crazy. You feel like the V8 is strapped to your
back. It is unreal. Having a conversation after a while, you straighten your voice so much.
Yeah. And you're like, we'll just listen to the engine. Yeah, just go quiet. But for now,
I mean, yeah, this is it. These are the newest style mirrors. They are. They're the one-to-one
style mirrors, which is the coolest upgrade because the US cars got the CCX mirrors,
which are just like a little stock with a knob. Like they're hideous, honestly. But these ones
are so cool. Yeah. And I'm sure they weren't cheap. And I guess I paid for them in roundabout
way. Right? Yeah. Yeah. Somehow it's all factored in. There's something about being in a Koenigsegg,
the shape of this windshield, central wiper. Obviously this is the removable roof panel
off camera. We actually popped that back on. We did. Yeah. It's something you've got to store
somewhere and also gets very windy inside, which is not good when you're trying to record videos
and things. Right. At a certain speed, I want to say 80, 90 miles an hour when the windows are
down, you get the weird vibrations in this car. It's like, ah, windows up. Yeah. This is also,
well, this was all the upgrade system. You could put this system in the CCX. Right. When I went
to look at the special one and I was talking backwards and forwards at the time about
potentially buying it, it obviously had the earlier out of date interior. Right. And I was
trying to price up all of this and it adds up fast. Oh, with Koenigsegg, yeah, adds up really,
really quickly. Oh, that noise in the turbos, that's cool.
You really hear them getting ready. Yes, you do. This car just has so much drama. Yeah. And
obviously when you pin it, it is just brutal. Yep. There's nothing quite like it. I mean,
it's the sheer adrenaline, terror, sweaty palm kind of car holding on for dear life. Luckily,
this car has fairly advanced traction control though. Yeah. So it'll keep you true and straight.
But it is the point of a car like this. It's supposed to be an exhilarating ride. Exactly.
Not bad. That was like 40% throttle. Yeah.
It is exciting. Somewhere there is an event still following us. I promise.
Oh my goodness. I tell you what's really funny is that there's a Ford Mustang there
and both of us were looking off into the distance like, is that a Ferrari Portofino?
I think it's the color red at the back. It looks like a Portofino though. It is strikingly similar.
From a distance, genuinely have that kind of silhouette, that kind of shape.
You really do have to talk loudly in here. I know you do. It's crazy. When I'm filming this car,
I have to yell even more on camera than I already do. It strains my voice so much because
it is definitely loud in here. It's wild. That's part of the drama, the theater of it.
What a good looking car the new Mustang is. I might be slightly biased, maybe a touch.
He's now going to be like, yep, that's a crazy thing to see on the road.
He's going slow. Yeah, this is just, I don't know, it's everything about it,
the wig, the shape, the styling, and we're going to talk about the fact you made it pink.
Of course I made it pink. Why wouldn't I make it pink, right? That seemed to be like the most
obvious mod ever, right? Yeah. I wanted to do something for the reveal that would just kind
of like make it stand out more as mine because it's the HH, which David Heinmeier Hanson
commissioned, and I think that's really cool, but I wanted it to be a little bit more my own for
the reveal because it was such a special event and occasion and moment. And pink, there's not
really a pink Koenigsegg. There's the one-to-one, the JC, that has the pink pinstriping, but there's
not a pure pink Koenigsegg. He changed that and his Honda, but I don't know, I think the pink is
cool. It'll be temporary. That was our exit, I just missed it. We'll hit the next one. We'll
figure it out, we'll figure it out. No, it's, how do I say it, it's like, I think people don't
realize wraps are temporary. Right, of course, and it protects the paint too, so it's a win-win.
Yeah, absolutely. Oh, I really messed up. Yeah, when we missed the junction and then we get a
traffic jam. Okay, runs to the map. Let's have a look. Where are we going? We're going under a little
overpass. Yes. You are the king of these. On cue, baby, let's go. That upshift from first to second
pops every single time right around four or five thousand RPMs. Love it. This is one of those things,
any car guy with a new car, like you have to work out where in the rev range. Absolutely. All the
right noises. When they say you need to learn how to drive your new car, it's to make it sound the
right way. Yeah, let's be honest. That's what it's all about. There we go, we got the Aventador behind us.
Looking very nice. The pink crew together. Yeah, it's crazy. It's especially on like a perfect day
in January with blue sky, both colors pop. Yeah. So much together. Yeah, really, really cool.
There's somebody out there waiting for you. Not today. Not today. Not for me, not this guy.
I am going under the speed limit. Yeah, I mean that's a good reason to be pulled over as well,
right? True. In the left lane too. I gotta get over. How dare you drive a Koenigsegg so
gently. So politely. Yeah. This car is a lot of trouble just waiting for you. Like it's so
tempting and you can drive this car so fast without realizing it. You gotta be very careful.
Foot flat for five seconds and you're going well over 100 miles an hour. Right, right, right. You're
going to go to jail speed. Yeah. Just like that. You gotta love those noises. The pops and the
bangs. Never gets old. No. Just a sweet symphony. And it's so different than a lot of the other
cars that I have. Yeah. You know, the twin turbo V8, the turbos are so lively on this car,
whereas the Lambos, you know, they got the big NA V12. Yeah. Very kind of polar opposite sounds,
but this is more like American muscle car in a sense. Yes, definitely. The engine is like that.
Yeah. But the thing is, despite the fact that it's a very different engine configuration,
as a car to drive, it is quite like the Lambos. For sure. It's that kind of big brute. It is.
It's a serious bit of work to drive it. Absolutely. And the transmission,
it feels kind of like the Aventador when you're under load. I mean, it hits when you change gears.
You can feel it in your back. I have a question for you. Oh, it went away. I had a question for
you on that graphic. Yeah. I feel like it's a CCX on the graphic. I don't know, but I need
your expert opinion. I could be wrong. We'll get it back in a second and have a look. Oh yeah.
Is it or is it not? It doesn't have a wing. It doesn't have a wing. Those are CCX wheels,
right? Yeah. And this design feels CCX. And so do the light design. I don't know. I guess
basically, maybe it's some kind of hybrid so they could use the same system. Probably. I would
assume so, yeah. Or maybe we're completely wrong. I don't know. I like that it goes down quickly
though. That's nice. I got to say, this is looking good here. You like the pink, don't you? I like
it a lot. In this light, it looks amazing. It does. But of course, it's a different color underneath.
It is. It's Monterey blue, which is also a beautiful color. Is it Lamborghini's Monterey
blue? I don't know. It's so close. I've just been calling it Monterey blue. I'm pretty sure that it
is. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. It looks like Monterey blue. It's close enough.
The first time I ever saw this car was the first time you ever saw it as well. Crazy.
Gumball 3000. Right. Of course. Lewis Hamilton driving the car from LA to Las Vegas. He ran
out of gas in Death Valley. Yep. But you were there. I wasn't there. I was waiting for him in
Vegas. So you were ahead of the pack. I was just in Vegas. I got to the finish line. I was there
around 9 a.m. You guys didn't show up until like 8 p.m. I legit was there for 12, 11, 12 hours
waiting. And the HH was like the last car to arrive because I think Lewis ran out of gas.
Yep. I believe. And it's normally the Gumball way. The time is perhaps slightly embellished
to be a little bit earlier. Of course. So we probably hadn't even left by the time you were
waiting in Vegas. Which is pretty crazy to think about, but I'm sure that was the case.
But you have another little connection with the car, right? Because you spent a fair bit of time
around it. I did. So Lewis got in I think on a Friday night and then the car was leaving on
Sunday and it actually had a dead battery on the top level of the parking garage of the Bellagio.
And I was there with my Audi. I was car spotting back then. I was rarely on camera. And the guy who
was caretaking the car needed a little bit of help. I was there. I had some tools. We actually
attempted to jumpstart the car with my Audi TT. But you're not supposed to jumpstart Koenigseggs
obviously. So all we did was put the connection on the battery. We didn't turn the cars on or
anything. And it actually wasn't enough juice to get the Koenigsegg door open. So we ended up
going and getting a triple charger and a couple hours later. But pretty crazy. I have a photo of
my Audi attempting to jumpstart the HH. It's absolutely crazy to me. You were car spotting
with your Audi TT and just happened to be in a position that you were basically jumpstarting
this thing. And now fast forward nine years and it is yours, sir.
It doesn't even make sense. I mean, if you could, that was 2015. So what, eight, nine years ago,
there is no way you could have convinced me back in 2015 that I would ever own this car. Because
at the time, the reason I went to the gumball was to see this car. I'd never seen a Koenigsegg
Agera. It was the only one in North America. This was really the only, the Agera wasn't even
out yet. This was the holy grail car in North America was the HH. This was the car. This was
the car. If somebody had told you then in less than a decade, no, no, no, no. That car's going
to be in your garage. No. Well, cause back then on YouTube, like it was such a like side hobby.
I'd make, you know, two, 300 bucks, maybe a month if I did really, really well. I'd never imagine.
No, never imagine. Such a cool story. It's crazy. Dude, you've absolutely killed it with this.
Well, that's why when the opportunity presented itself to buy the car, I wasn't really ready,
but it was like, if I don't get this car now and someone else buys it and it's up in a collection
for 20 years, I'm going to regret it because it's not even that it's the Agera. It's the HH.
It's the exact car. Like it's the one. It's this one, which is number 99. Yes. Which is
kind of quite cool as well. Very, very cool. Yeah. Agera S they built five Agera S's. This one's
number 99. Such a cool car. Nothing like it. You got to drive it though. Yeah. You got to drive it
with pleasure. Absolutely. You have to, you have more experience driving Koenigseggs than probably
anybody other than Christian von Koenigsegg, right? Or the test drivers. Or the test drivers.
I think I could probably say for people who have no tie to the company, no employees, no investor,
nothing like that. I've probably driven more Koenigseggs than anyone else in the world.
Easy. Absolutely. Are we adding another one to the list? Yes, we are. We have to. I think this
will be like number 20 to 25, something like that. That's crazy because Koenigsegg has probably built
250 Koenigseggs ever in the entire history of the company. Working on 10%. Yeah, that's not bad,
especially because a lot of them don't get driven that much. So for you to drive 10%,
that's unreal. That's absolutely crazy. Unreal. All right. Yeah. Should we do it?
Batter up. Let's get ready. Let's go. Let's roll. Let's roll. Are you 100% sure about this? No,
absolutely not. But actually I am. I trust you. You've driven more Koenigseggs than basically
anybody outside of Koenigsegg. So let us carefully fall into here. Oh, there we go.
Oh, this feels cool. Right. Magic button? Yes, sir.
Love that. Okay. Door closed. Look at this dashboard. I actually really like the way
they did this dashboard with the three different screens. I do too. I actually
like it a little bit more than the Agera RS. I think it has a little bit more style,
a little bit more flair. And I like how it's broken up. And it only goes to 280 miles an hour.
What will you do? I guess you have to just go 280. Can't go 290. Have to survive. Right. Let
me give you this. Okay. If I can. All righty. So park brake. Nice and easy. That goes off.
Get comfortable. I don't need to move anything. We're like the same positions. Perfect. Easy.
Into gear. All righty. I actually haven't been in the passenger seat of this car yet.
Really? This is the first time? Yes, this is the first time. This is the first time somebody else
has driven the car since I've owned it. And this is just the randomness that goes on here. Exactly.
These guys are like, yeah, let's record a music video of the Pink Ventura Roadster.
And the codec's like, we're now in a music video. We're famous.
What's going on?
I know. Speechless. Who knows? Who knows? Coming to YouTube Vivo. Does that still exist?
Sooner than you think. Just over 10,000. So how much have you driven in this so far? So I put
550 miles on it. Not bad. Yeah. 10,344. Good effort. It's what the car's for, right? I want
to make this the highest-managed Koenigsegg in the world. Do you know what? I've heard rumblings
around 28,000 miles. So I don't have that long to go or that far to go. A couple of years,
I'll be there. I was going to say, but in a couple of years, somebody else might have come in and...
True. True. I just got to keep driving. That's all you can do. Just keep driving.
That's quite like, if you do 28,000 miles in a Koenigsegg, that is quite an achievement.
It is. Like, that's hard work. That's a lot of driving. But I think this car, I mean, it's crazy.
It has been so reliable. Yeah. I've had no issues whatsoever because this car is just pure power.
It's just a big V8. What year is this? How old is this? 2013. So it's 11 years old. Yep. Like,
it's not exactly a brand new car. So this goes both ways, right? It means on the one hand,
it's a little bit more simple than like a Regera. Absolutely. Like the latest, latest. But on the
other hand, because it's a little bit older, stuff can go a little bit wrong. Of course. Like,
hand built. Of course. No, of course. I mean, it's car number 99. When they built this car,
they never, they were about to build their 100th car. They were about to build Hundra.
Right. Exactly. Hundra was actually when I first met the Koenigsegg factory team.
No way. Filming Hundra. But you didn't see this car at the factory, did you?
No. So, well, Hundra was at various events that year when they had just shown it.
Oh, okay. That was how I basically got introduced to various people, including Jens,
who used to work at Koenigsegg, who now is in charge of Zenfone.
Wow. Small or full circle right there. Indeed.
That's so crazy. You can see how all of that comes together.
Do you know what? I feel kind of at home in here. I feel like I...
Whoa, whoa, whoa. Don't get too comfortable now.
For what? You're just going to drop me off at home and take the car, you know?
You can keep the dog horse for a bit. Sounds like a fair trade to me.
Koenigsegg in your future, you think? I would love one one day because the
engineering and, you know, the new developments, everything they released,
like the new Jamira and stuff at this point that's not public that I know about is going
to be really very exciting. Whoa, do tell, do tell. A lot of secrets.
The noise. This is...
Look at that smile. Yeah.
Yeah, you're a Koenigsegg guy. It's super planted, isn't it? It's just flat.
Oh, this is awesome. It is so surreal. Telling this car, we can go wherever we want,
we can do whatever we want. That's what's crazy. Yeah.
You know, lots of times you have an opportunity to drive a car like this,
but you got five minutes. I'm looking at the smile on the guy's face.
He's loving it.
Get the shot. Get the shot.
It is a really raw experience. Like, it's really... raw is the way to describe it, right? It's pretty
intense to drive. It's brute power. You just kind of hold off your dear life and keep it straight.
Yeah. Sweaty palms.
But you know that, like, the way they drive them at the factory on the runway,
full from zero to top speed, back to zero. Well, not quite top speed because the runway
has a limit, but without touching the steering wheel, it's dead arrows.
I've seen those videos. I want to do that someday. I got to get a runway
and test that. You just let go.
Oh, that was a good one. That was good.
You're getting better already. It's around 5,000 RPMs upshift.
Yeah.
Jeez. There we go.
A natural.
But it's really loud.
It is. So I have to apologize for any blown out mics from us shouting,
because we are literally shouting, until we come to a standstill and then it gets pretty calm.
That's why doing road trips in this car would be a little bit tough.
Yeah. Your ears, eventually.
Yeah.
It's that thing you sometimes see in people with a headset on, you know, like,
sort of the passengers. But I don't think a car like this is for that. A car like this is for
being that, like, occasional experience. I'm sure you're driving it every day while you're here.
I've driven it seven of the eight days I've been here.
Exactly.
But in reality, you take it out for a special occasion, for a convoy, for a video, for some fun.
How's the turning circle? Can we do a U-turn?
Oh, yeah, you can do a U-turn. Yeah, yeah, for sure.
Just gotta wait for a...
You got two lanes. Yeah, you're good.
A safe moment. Okay, around we go.
We got it. Yeah, the turning circle's good.
Easy, easy.
There she is.
She loves the Arizona desert. And you get traction, because up in Utah, it's so cold,
you can't pin this car. It's all over the place.
So what tires are we on?
Michelin... something. I don't know.
Michelin's. There's Michelin's now.
Something, yeah.
Brand new Michelin's.
It's either PS4S's or Cup 2's.
But with this much power, you're always going to have traction problems.
Of course.
You can't avoid that.
Rear-wheel drive, 1,000 plus horsepower, it's going to happen.
And that's part of the fun.
You kind of want it, because the traction control in this car is decently advanced.
Yeah.
It'll save you.
I love this view over the front.
Like, it's such a unique look with the window that wraps around, the wiper, the arches,
the louvres over the arches as well.
Right, yep.
That you have. And then, you know, the road's fairly empty.
And when you take the roof off, it's so cool.
The window line with the roof off is just one of the coolest experiences.
Look at that smile!
I'm just laughing.
It makes you feel giddy though, because you appreciate what this is.
And I appreciate what this is also for you.
Like, it's really cool that you somehow own this car.
I don't know how.
I don't know how it happens.
You're getting the double pump!
I've never gotten the double pump!
I like this.
I like where it's going.
And I haven't actually said yet, but when I recently came to visit you,
you obviously already had this.
It's true, yep.
So we might have snaked you guys, that's what you would say, a little bit on this one.
But we had to keep completely hushed because you hadn't yet quite shown it.
I hadn't revealed it quite yet, no.
So it was like, okay, the secrets that lurk in the garage.
That's why I have a Batcave Garage, right?
Yeah, who knows what else is waiting?
You never know.
I don't know what else might be down there right now.
Unfortunately, there is actually nothing down there.
I got an IndyCar with no engine in it.
Fair enough.
Yeah, it's still cool.
There are plenty of things about it that are peculiar.
Of course, it's an older car.
It kind of takes us to things in a strange way in the early days.
Right.
But there are plenty of things about it that are just, like, mind-blowing.
They enjoyed as much as we're enjoying.
Oh, this is crazy.
Just everyone has their phone cameras out, like the guy who just went past.
Exactly.
Look at that.
Insane.
Oh, that's stunning.
Arizona in January?
Yeah.
You got to move here.
It's so nice.
It's tempting, isn't it?
It is way too good.
I don't want to leave.
I don't want to go back.
You're doing it the right way.
Like, part of the year in Utah, where you have your base, your dream house, the garage.
And then part of the year with views like that.
Look at it.
Oh, no.
Come on, come on.
It's so beautiful.
Bright and just clear through the skies and nice and blurry.
Wow, I'm an awful cameraman.
I can do better.
That's my bad.
Great.
No, driving this, though, you know, it's a special car.
It's a special car.
Like, even I look at this and I'm like, yeah, that was a cool story.
You know, like, if one day you ever decide to sell it, give me a call.
Call you?
Okay, okay, okay, okay.
I truly don't think I'll ever sell the car.
No, this is the one.
I really don't.
I don't think I will because the story is so amazing.
Obviously, owning your first Koenigsegg, too, you're always going to have the memories.
I get attached to cars, too.
You feel way more attached to this than you did to the Veyron?
Already, immediately.
Interesting.
I think because the way this car drives is more what I love in a car.
I love the Veyron for what it represents, the history, world's fastest car, the technology.
But the driving experience, it's so easy, so smooth.
Yeah.
This car is raw, brute force.
I'm not a Bugatti kind of guy, either.
I'm not bougie.
I'm not fancy.
I wear shorts.
I feel like I fit the Koenigsegg brand a little bit more.
I was going to say, does that make you a Koenigsegg guy?
No, not necessarily.
Not implying that, but I think Koenigsegg is more likely to accept me.
Yeah.
You know?
Yeah, yeah.
I can be one of them, right?
I can roll with them.
Yeah, for sure.
Because I have the love and the passion.
Yeah.
I just love the brand.
Christian von Koenigsegg has always treated me with the most respect.
He's always been so friendly to me, even eight years ago when I was just a car-spotting kid.
He treats me the same then as he does now, which is awesome.
He is an awesome guy.
Yeah, he is.
I've always had a lot of respect for Christian.
Everything he's done with the company, the way...
I mean, it takes a whole team to make a car right.
It's not just one man.
But Christian's attention to detail, his love for what he does, his...
Just everything around him, you just feel like...
You feel the energy.
Yeah.
You feel the passion.
Yeah.
It's like, that is it.
That is what it's about.
Given we're back, into the garage we go.
Low to the ground.
But it's fine.
It is all fine.
Get this back in the garage.
Is that the easiest car in the world to park?
No.
No, it's not.
Especially an Aventador is already wide from the factory.
Wide-body kids, it's longer.
The Aventador transmission, you know, you hit the gas just a little bit.
You jump a mile, I feel like.
And you're reversing back towards that.
Right.
Yeah, it's an interesting experience, but it's the only way to park it.
So you do what you gotta do.
It is a ton of fun.
I love this car, though.
I'll always be a Lambo guy.
I love Koenigsegg, but Lambo just hits me in the heart.
In the heart.
The Mercy, the Aventador, the other full carbon Aventador.
Yep.
The LM002s, the Espada, the Countach, the Storato, the Rivalto.
How many miles did you do on your Storato already?
5,000 across Canada in the winter.
Wouldn't recommend it.
The problem is the darkness.
Yeah.
And you get that in London.
I know.
Dark the whole time.
I've got a trip coming like that.
That's going to be a lot of late nights in the dark.
And you reach 5,000 miles after how many days of ownership?
Seven.
Yes.
It was a lot of miles.
You guys are driving, driving, driving.
I'm just like you.
You guys drive more than anybody.
I think you drive more than any other YouTuber by far, though.
Because I did that one week.
You do that every month, I feel like.
And any news on the Rivalto?
No news.
Which is good news because I got to pay for the Koenigsegg.
And so the longer the Rivalto is delayed, that means I don't have to pay for it.
So I'm actually kind of okay with that.
But I think maybe April, May, maybe.
But if you would ask me a couple months ago, I would say, yeah, I don't know.
They've clearly got some last minute final things to get sorted.
Well, I got to say congratulations on this.
Thank you.
It is absolutely epic.
Thank you.
Thank you for letting me drive it.
Of course.
No, thank you for coming to Arizona.
Maybe next time I'll see you in Utah.
I've seen you everywhere, though.
I love it.
We'll see what comes up next.
Sounds good.
Take care, dude.
I'm sneaking back in here because there's something about this car.
And James recently opened up the vents.
That was a trick that Lambo Jesus, who is Mr. Lamborghini,
had taught about obviously having a little bit more cooling and the bat wings.
It just kind of looks cool on a Murcielago.
That I know we haven't heard too much of today.
But believe me, from previous experience, it's ridiculously loud.
All the vent doors sound totally crazy.
Today has been around James's new hypercar.
There was an unbelievable story leading up to finding this car.
This one.
Not just any Carnegie Egg.
Not just any Agera.
Not even any Agera S.
But this one.
And it's so cool.
Super, super, super, super cool.
Big congratulations to him on making that happen.
Honestly.
Yeah, amazing.
And what a day it's been here in Arizona.
The sun is now off in the distance.
And I think that is going to wrap it up for today.
Thank you very much for watching.
I hope you've enjoyed the video.
Make sure to check out the Stradman, if you don't already, for more with the Carnegie Egg.
That's it for this time.
And I'll see you again very soon.
Cheers.
