Hi guys, today I'm going to show you how to do this quick and easy high messy bun hairstyle.
To start I've curled the hair. You don't have to be precise with this, it's just to give the
hair a little bit of movement. Once you've curled all of the hair, add a touch of texture spray
all throughout those curls. I'll pop the one I'm using in the description below.
Now I'm just going to section off the crown area and tie this into a clear elastic band
Then just clip this out of the way for later.
Then divide off all the hair from the ears forwards on both sides and clip it out of the way.
With the hair that's remaining, pull this up into a high ponytail getting it as close to that first
one as possible and then gently pinch and pull underneath just to loosen it up a little bit.
Release that top ponytail down and add some more texture spray.
Then pinch and pull at the crown for a little bit more messy volume.
So working on the top ponytail, all we're going to do is twist it down to the end
and apply some more texture spray. Then use your fingers to really pinch and pull that twist apart.
Then we're simply going to take that ponytail and wrap it around the base so where the elastic is
just to form a bun. So wrap it clockwise tucking your ends underneath hold it to the head and pin
it all the way around the outside with as many bobby pins as needed. Then we're going to do the
same steps with the bottom ponytail. So twist it all one way apply your texture spray and pinch
and pull apart and again we're going to take this clockwise wrap it around that elastic band or the
base of the ponytail making sure that it overlaps that first bun and again secure to the head using
a few bobby pins. Take some wax spray and apply it to that bun and then use your fingers to gently
pinch and pull out sections of the hair to make it as messy as you want. Release the side sections
down and I'm going to add a little bit of volume powder at the roots and then just give it a tiny
bit of back combing just so it's not so stuck to the head and we're just going to swoop this back
until it meets the middle of the edge of the bun and then just secure it with a couple of bobby pins
and then we're just going to repeat it on the opposite side. So apply your texture powder pop
in a little back combing and then bring it back to the side of the bun and secure with pins.
Then with the ends I'm just going to take a little curl out and pin this to the bottom of the bun
and then I'm just going to twist the rest of that section so it matches the texture of the bun and
pin it into the side leaving a couple of ends loose just so it doesn't look so neat. Repeat
it on the opposite side. Curl any hair you left out to frame the face and it really is that simple.
Here's the finished look. If you liked it please give it a thumbs up and don't forget to subscribe
