Glimpse (a short film)

Cassie, it's good to be wait-listing at Harvard. It's good that they're even considering you. Harvard is such a good school. Do you have those other schools? You have Cordell, you have Brown, Yale. Those are good. This sheet is due in 15 minutes. We only have a couple of months left. What is one worksheet going to do? Not much, but how am I going to pass this class without you? Like, go to the movies or eat somewhere cool. I have work after. I'm not talking about after school. What are you talking about? No, I cannot skip class. No. We only have a couple of months left. What's one day going to do your GPA? I'll drive. Come on. No, no. It'll be fun. No, no. Searching. I'm still searching for Jim Stratton, M.I.T., greater hope, and sky. Sonic with an 18-powered gun. Pinstripe suits and ties. Shoe among spit in the eye. Dreams that never come true. So how are you feeling now? Pretty good. Don't have to worry about it anymore. This isn't your whole life, you know. This is just some tiny, miniscule fraction of a day when you were sad about a random school. Besides, only nerds go to Harvard anyway. Oh, extremely successful rich nerds with a perfect CTA and 300 volunteer hours. You've got a point, but still nerds. It's stupid, right? But this morning, I thought my whole life depended on one email. And now I actually have the time to go places and do things. What is it? It's an email.
