We are preparing simple oatmeal flakes with the flavor and spices of gingerbread cookies.
They are rich in proteins with Greek yogurt and your favorite vanilla protein powder for breakfast or an easy snack.
Hi, my name is Nicole Bonia and if you love the healthiest recipes for our favorite foods, then you are in the right place.
To prepare these oatmeal flakes really easy, all you need is a hermetic container.
I really like to use these glass jars Pinsitz.
And then we will start by pouring half a cup of milk into our jar.
And you can use any type of milk you like.
Now, you are welcome to write down these ingredients as we proceed.
Or you can click on the link in the description of the video below, which will take you to the complete recipe with all the details.
And then to add a little protein and a little delicious sour flavor, we will add a quarter cup of Greek yogurt.
And you will want to use Greek yogurt, simple, unsweetened.
And then for a little more protein, we will add two tablespoons of your favorite protein powder.
And I really like to use this biological protein powder which is made of nuts and seeds and is naturally sweetened.
And I included a link in the description if you want to take a look.
And then for a little natural sweetness, we will add a tablespoon of maple syrup.
You can certainly omit it or use a little less or a little more if you prefer.
And to give it that gingerbread flavor, we will add a teaspoon of apple cider vinegar and a quarter teaspoon of vanilla extract.
And then for our seasonings, we will add a quarter teaspoon of cinnamon, a quarter teaspoon of ginger and a pinch of nutmeg.
Then we will add a pinch of salt.
But you could certainly increase or decrease the seasoning according to your preferences.
And then we will give a nice stir.

Now that everything is mixed together, let's go ahead and add half a cup of oats.
And I really like to use old oats in a larger way because it is beautiful and fleshy.
You can also use quick oats.
And then we give a nice stir.
And we screw on our lid.
And then this goes in our refrigerator overnight or at least for about 3 or 4 hours or until that oats has no chance to absorb all the liquid.
So, I have a lotto here that I made last night and then kept in my refrigerator.
You can see how all the ingredients have come together.
And my perfect bite has a little oatmeal and maybe a little whipped cream on top and maybe just a light sprinkle of a little more cinnamon.
Now it's ready.
It's delicious.
It tastes like a gingerbread cookie dipped in milk.
But then with the addition of oatmeal flavor.
It is really so good and I love the fact that it is rich in proteins and made with clean natural ingredients.
