WINTER TRENDS 2024
Winter trends always seem kind of fun because they really focus on all the knits and all the
beautiful textures and cozy things and beautiful jackets and outerwear and exciting things to wear
during the holiday season. So I thought it would be fine to look and see what the winter trends are
going to be for this winter 2024. I don't think I've ever done a video on winter trends before
because I live in Florida but there are several that are actually beautiful trends that any of
us can wear no matter if you live in Florida or in Alaska. So I want to talk about those in this
video and let's get started. Oh I also have one that I'm just not into. I don't I mean maybe I
would be into it in certain cases but I just don't I don't know. So I'm going to save that for last
and you tell me what you think too. Let's start off with one that we can all wear for sure but
actually some of you in the real colder climates you might freeze if you wear this without something
over it. But one of the big trends and this is also a fall trend as well are the off shoulder
sweaters like off shoulder knits. Beautiful cozy knits but they're off the shoulder. When I think
of a beautiful off the shoulder winter look I'm not thinking about so much your Tuesday afternoon
I'm thinking of like a holiday party or some kind of event where you're trying to look a little fancy
of course you need to put a jacket over this if it's cold outside but once you get into the party
I just think this is such a beautiful look and it's quite a classic look as well. This is a fun
one and it's not a surprising one but shimmery fabrics lots of shimmer is definitely very big
for winter 2024. Well you will see sequins and that kind of thing for the holiday season but
just lots of fabrics that have kind of a shimmer to them. You'll notice on this dress I have from
Fabrique it has just a little bit of shimmer to it. It's a beautiful dress for the holiday season
and I love that it's very subtle it's not super in your face it's just a very subtle
shimmer. Now of course you will see some more high shine looks as well especially as we start
getting towards you know new year and this is always a fun trend for the holiday season.
Long sweaters are a thing and that doesn't mean that crop sweaters are out or anything like that
it's just that we are seeing a lot of longer sweaters so a lot of the traditional sweaters
kind of end like at your hips you know they cut you off right there which isn't like the best look
for everybody it doesn't work on everybody but we are seeing a lot of sweaters that are longer
like they go down to basically your upper thigh they aren't cinched in or brought in at the bottom
they're very straight which can be a very flattering look on some people obviously this
doesn't work on everybody but we are seeing a lot of longer sweaters not tucked in not front tucked
but just left out things are changing guys I'm actually going to do a video on just some really
interesting ways that fashion is changing right now I'm not sure when I'm going to do that but
soon and long sweaters we'll talk about that more in that video as well but that is definitely a big
trend for the winter time like when you go sweater shopping of course you'll see the
traditional cut right at your hips and the crop ones but you will also see a lot of longer sweaters
so that should be interesting I'm excited to see where that one goes dark chocolate brown like the
suit that I'm wearing is one of the biggest colors for 2024 especially fall 2024 and I just think
this is going to go way far into 2025 I just love that brown is back and I love these beautiful deep
rich chocolate browns that we are seeing I've talked about it quite a bit I did a video on
classic color combinations I will put that up here and I will link it below because I talk a lot about
brown in that video but I love the beautiful chocolate browns that are coming out for this

and I guess I had to find some that I actually liked but it's corduroy pants I don't know when
the last time we've seen corduroy pants be a big trend but it is a very big trend for winter 2024
and so I've seen lots of wide leg corduroy pants there's been you know straight leg corduroy pants
lots of corduroy pants lots of variations but this is definitely a big trend a lot of these
textures are just really trending fall and winter 2024 and I love that because I think texture is a
really great way to just add something to your outfit and this is also one that is great if you
live in a colder climate I feel like this can be very warm so let me know what you think about
corduroy or if you already have some that you're just gonna bring back out this is another trend
that I guess you know it's kind of a fall trend it's kind of a big trend for 2024 but it just it
works in the winter as well but it's suit pants okay so I talked about in some video I don't
remember which one but the suiting pants are just they're sweeping the nation guys it's like we've
been thrown back to the very early 90s late 80s and the reason why I say that is because I was
watching Crocodile Dundee for some reason that is one of my husband's favorite movies and what's her
face the woman in there was wearing the outfit that you see all kinds of people running around in
right now here in 2024 I thought that was really funny I was like oh I like her outfit it looks
like just something I wore the other day but suit pants with everything I mean going out tops not
going out tops Tuesday tops Saturday night tops all the tops is a very big trend for 2024 this
is definitely going to go on to end of 2025 we'll be talking about this some more soon big trend I
actually really love it I love the juxtaposition of suiting with something really casual up top
and then maybe something casual on your feet I just think that looks really cool and stylish
and so very big trend very wearable do you have a fair isle sweater this is a very classic
look it's just so classic I mean it just really never goes out of style but it's very much on
trend and that has kind of been the theme of 2024 lots of things that are on trend are also very
classic so that is another one that is definitely very classic and on trend now of course there's
been lots of variations lots of leeway with the design now I have one from fabric but these
sweaters are just really a big trend for the winter time if you go to any kind of ski resort
or ski area I definitely think this is something you're going to see a lot of but it's also a very
easy sweater to just pair with a pair of jeans and boots and go now I did mention this in one
of my fall trends video but I'm going to mention it again because it's definitely more of a winter
cold weather trend and it's faux fur coats and mostly in the brown color like dark brown this
color brown faux fur huge trend for fall and winter 2024 I think this is one that if you get there
early enough you could probably find secondhand because I just think that that's a really good
place to start or even a secondhand website and I definitely cannot wear a fur coat here
I got no business having a fur coat in Florida I don't know where and when I would ever wear that
so people like me who might have them might eventually be like I need to resale this because
where am I going to wear this in you know 50 degree weather it doesn't cold though it does
get cold in January and February and then that's kind of the only two months I just went and
changed clothes and realized I forgot to tell you about the trend that I don't really like as of
right now anyway so one trend we are seeing amongst you know some of the trendy people
probably won't be my thing but it's the grandpa core grandpa trend and we've been seeing this for
a little while but now that we're going to get into colder weather this is kind of where it's
gonna live grandpa little hats grandpa pants I'm not making this up this is the name of
the trend no I just don't see that working out very well for me maybe there's some pieces of
it parts of the trend that would be fun but I just this is one of those I'll be like y'all have fun
with that I'll be over here wearing you know this cute little jacket from fabric or my dark brown
suit or something I don't know if I'm into grandpa core now there's a lot of trends that are big for
fall 2024 that are definitely still very much in for winter 2024 these are just some specific ones
that are more geared towards winter time so I would suggest checking out this video next if
