Work-Life Balance in my 20s | new home tech, enjoying the holidays, casual & productive days

Hi guys, long time no see. I swear I have a reason why I haven't been vlogging and it's just because it's the holidays and we had a bomb cyclone power outage and after that whole fiasco, I really just wanted basically a few days to reset my life because I was planning on vlogging on one of the days that our power was out so it just kind of ruined my entire flow and if you guys have gone through any sort of power outage, it's just really exhausting to deal with and yeah so welcome back and I'm just gonna have a very casual work week. It's Thanksgiving week. I am gonna be on call so it's gonna be kind of busy towards the tail end because of the peak days coming up but other than that, I'm hoping that it'll be a nice and relaxing week. Okay, we're gonna take a little short break from work because I just got a package from Olive Young. If you guys don't know, Olive Young is a Korean makeup brand store. It's kind of like the Sephora of Korea and if you go to Korea, it's literally on every other corner which is really ridiculous but yeah they also ship internationally so this is where I usually get all of my makeup products from. Okay, so this is the haul. These are the items that I bought but this came as a free gift and I was not expecting it to be this big. I don't even know what it is. Pure and deep cleansing foam. The main reason why I had to order from Olive Young is because I ran out of this product right here. It's the Laneige Neo Essential Blurring Finish Powder. I take this everywhere and I recently ran out so I got this refillable, this refiller. My team recently launched a new feature so right now, I'm starting to work on the implementation for a new project and I just wanted to add all of the new tasks onto my sprint board. Does anyone else kind of struggle with this? Like, it's just so tedious to create tickets, add the description, and then kind of get all the SDE efforts onto it. I have a workout scheduled later this afternoon so I'm just gonna head over there after I wrap things up here. Alright, I just got back home after my workout. I stopped by the grocery store real quick because we had nothing to eat for dinner and this is one of our very simple dinners we do which is just a rotisserie chicken plus vegetables. So I think I'm just gonna toss these on a frypan real quick and microwave some rice and that'll be our dinner. I'm cooking! Broccoli. You're gonna burn the house down. No. Did you salt it already? Yeah. Rotisserie chicken. Very easy and simple dinner. I was prepared to cook everything. Not like there's a lot of cooking to do but Matt just came and did everything really quickly. He also just made this fire sauce so I'm gonna try it right now. That's really hot. Should I only put in a little? I could handle it. It's good. You like it? Yeah, not too spicy. Oh, actually it's really spicy. I told you. It's just kicking in right now. I told you it's hot. It's really spicy. Hi, can I do a 12 ounce honey latte please? What size did you get? A 12 ounce. I'll call you back. I'll write you more letters if we have one of those. This just arrived in the mail today and I'm so excited to use it. This is the LG Cinebeam Q projector. It's a 4k projector and I actually do have a very old five-year-old $50 projector that I got from Amazon and we've been using it to watch movies on the ceiling at night and because it's Black Friday, I figured I would utilize the sale and purchase this one. It's a major upgrade than my last one. Whoa, Matt, come here. This is so good. We have our little holiday drink and just walking around the city. It's so beautiful right now. Very calm. This is a perfect serving for two. Our very first Thanksgiving meal together. This is stuffing, mashed potatoes, and roast beef. It looks so good. Prime rib. Roasted prime rib. Prime rib. Leave her.
