We stayed out too late last night.
We were all like...
That's kind of an insult.
Hi, I'm Margot Robbie.
And I'm Diego Calva.
And we are playing Most Likely To.
You are.
Yeah?
Yeah.
I will say you.
Really?
Yeah.
That's kind of an insult.
No, why?
Nelly's crazy.
And a drug addict.
Okay, sorry.
Then I will say Brad.
Brad is very like Jack.
Yeah, that's true.
That's true.
I still say you.
Okay, me.
Well, I mean, there was a lot of art imitating life moments in Babylon.
For example, Diego's first day on a big Hollywood movie set
was his character Manny's first day on a big Hollywood movie set.
So that was insane.
All of us.
I think we'd all be pretty good.
I don't know, I feel like Jovan would be good in a crisis.
Jovan?
Yeah, why not?
Yeah, yeah, you're right.
Or Lily.
No, I've been in a semi-crisis with Lily.
No, it's Jovan.
Okay, let's say Jovan at that point.
Yeah, Lily and I were in a 100-year-old car.
She was driving, and as Damien's on the walk, he's saying,
speed up, speed up.
She tells me that she doesn't know how to drive stick shift.
So it could have been a crisis, but we were fine.
Remember you were putting the brake for me
because my hand was literally injured?
That's right.
And one take, I step out the car, and the car was still moving.
The car was kept moving and roaring,
and I dove over and pulled the handbrake.
And they were like, why didn't you hit your mark?
And we were like, because it was a moving vehicle.
We could have died.
I know a pretty good hangover cure.
I mean, in Mexico, we have chilaquiles and enchiladas.
Anything spicy.
Spicy on a hangover?
Yeah, that's what we do.
Absolutely not.
No?
No.
I believe you next time.
I know a good one.
You get baroqa, diarrolyte, and an aspirin,
and you put it all in a cup.
And that's like the magic potion that will fix you right up.
And then if you can, jump in an ocean.
Then you're totally sorted.
In a full English breakfast.
I will still say enchilada.
I feel like you could find a snake at Natalie.
I will be like, I will run like, ah!
You scare snakes?
Yeah.
Really?
Yeah.
I didn't get that vibe when we were on set with snakes.
Can I tell a story?
I remember when the real snake was there.
Like, Margot, don't get closer.
And you kept walking.
But I will say, honestly, like Brad.
Brad can, he looks like he could find a snake.
I think Brad could do probably anything.
Yeah, yeah.
I feel like he'd be like, hi-ya!
And just like, grab it.
The thing with a snake is you want to grab it right behind its jaw.
So it can't bite.
Get it right behind its head.
Did you watch Fight Club?
I will say like, punch her in the face.
And Snatch.
He's got a great fight sense.
Oh, yeah.
Who's got the best dance moves?
Of course you.
I mean, I do the most dancing in the movie.
But that doesn't necessarily mean I have the best dance moves.
I think like, remember when you're like, waving your arms?
I think that's going to be like, iconic.
Like, in a hundred years, people are going to be doing them.
The windmill arms?
Yeah, the Nelly's dance.
I will say Margot.
It was kind of like, we worked on the dancing for ages,
but it was a very like, organic process.
And then, so it was like, semi-improvised,
made out of moves that we'd already established would be moves.
And so Mandy Moore, our dance choreographer,
not that Mandy Moore, would like, yell out.
And we had like, code names for each move.
So she'd be like, giraffe, do the thing.
Do the sway hips or whatever.
And I'd be like, okay.
You know, if I were ever looking like I didn't have a move to do,
she'd yell something out.
But yeah, it was kind of like, half improvised, half choreographed.
And Mandy's amazing.
She's so good.
So good.
We all did a lot of improvising.
Damien really encouraged improvising,
but also we had the greatest script ever to work off.
So you didn't need to, but it was fun.
Do you know who's a really good improviser?
PJ Byrne, who plays the first AD that has an absolute meltdown
when we're trying to shoot the first talkie.
He can improvise stuff,
and I worked with him on Walker Wall Street too.
The stuff that comes out of his mouth,
it's like, every take was incredible.
I was there that day, and I wasn't on that scene.
And I watched like, three takes, and every take is different.
Like, this guy comes with a different idea every take.
And they're like, more outrageous every time.
There was one that did not make the cut.
Even for this film, it was too much.
I think we're talking about the same.
Yeah, we were all like...
It didn't make the cut of the movie, I think.
Maybe, I don't know, but...
You're such a great host, for example.
Like, you invited me to watch the Pulp Fiction,
like all of that, so I will say you.
I'll take the title.
Best party host is me.
Oh, I'm such a bad cook.
No, not a good cook.
I'm Mexican, I'm a great cook.
You've never cooked for me.
No, but I cook for Demian and Olivia, like mole.
I cook all the time.
I'll do it for you.
Thank you.
Next time, Tom, you and me, mole enchiladas.
Done, done.
What?
A lot of things.
I have like, for example, all the cards,
like introduction cards, like George Mon.
That's so cool.
Yeah, I have that.
I have all the newspapers.
I'm so bad at being a cook.
I try to steal, not steal, like,
let's say, like, keep something.
A keepsake.
For every character in every movie.
Like, at least something.
One thing.
No, I always feel bad.
I'm always like, oh, I bet the prop department
needs to archive that, or I don't know.
They gave me, the prop department gave me
the green sunglasses that Nelly wears.
But I didn't steal anything, actually.
Brad gives good advice.
Yeah, exactly.
He gives really good advice.
Yeah.
He's like a very grounded person.
Experience, I guess.
Yeah, yeah.
I'm a very good secret keeper.
I would say Olivia Hamilton.
Like, she knows all of my secrets.
True, I always think of her as our producer,
not a cast member, but she's, you know,
one of the main characters as well.
Yeah.
Olivia.
I told her everything.
Like, literally everything.
She's like my coach, my producer,
my co-cast member, like everything.
Yeah.
Don't say me.
I don't know.
The last one.
I think last night you stayed out later than me.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
I would say, like, Jovan and me.
Jovan and me, why not?
It's a good pajama party.
No, we just watch Disney movies.
Yeah, it's super chill.
I'm Diego Calva, and thank you for watching
Catch Babylon on Cinema.
I'm so bad at this.
Can you do it, please?
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Catch Babylon, Catch Babylon on Cinema.
It's alright, I'll say it, I'll say it.
Thank you for watching and Catch Babylon on Cinema.
Thank you for watching Catch Babylon on Cinema.
What she said.
