So get involved and have your say on Manchester City.
They're not being prima donnas. It's just like a meat grinder.
I mean, the players, I don't want to be the players in front of it.
There's a bunch of players who play for Manchester City.
They're injured just now, and part of that reason is that load that's not,
it's not been led, allowed to lighten at all for years on end.
And do you think they care about it, FIFA? No. What do they do instead?
They bring in another competition, a World Club competition that's bigger.
And there is not a thought of a care, of a consideration of footballers.
Now, on the other hand, they get paid very, very well.
Problem is, you keep on going to the same players, the same stars,
the same entertainers all the time, and eventually they're human,
they break down, they can't do it.
And who's getting conned then? It's the supporters, isn't it?
They're paying good money to see these top stars,
and they just keep wringing it out of them.
It's grotesque the way that FIFA do it.
And then you hear the phrases like, oh, you know,
we're doing it for morally the right reasons.
We're looking for social improvements and human rights.
Give us some specificity here. That's what we need.
And that, and every other area.
But when it comes to FIFA, I'm doing it for the money, period.
And that's it. So that's why a lot of us,
and I agree with John, Great World Cup in Qatar was fantastic.
And Saudi Arabia is likely to be a great one as well.
But please don't tell me any other reasons
they're doing it other than to make money for themselves.
John, we should talk about 2030 as well.
Yes, we should.
Because there are six host countries across both hemispheres.
How on earth is that going to work?
Well, good luck with the, well, certainly,
I mean, the environmental concerns are one thing, aren't they?
The plan is for the first three matches to be played in Uruguay,
Paraguay and Argentina.
The reason for that, 2030 is the 100th anniversary
of the first World Cup, which was played in Uruguay.
So it's a nod to that.
So you've got that aspect of the travel,
but also, you know, the travel from Spain, Portugal, Morocco.
And remember, of course, by that stage,
as the next one will be, it's a 48 team World Cup,
which goes back to what Pat was saying.
Do we need a 48 World Team?
Team World Cup?
You know, the argument there is, well, it gives more countries
the chance to show what they can do on the world stage.
It also provides the opportunity for more matches, more and more.
Which more can be televised and you get more advertising.
And honestly, every time you ever hear that phrase,
oh, it's just to help the little ones.
There's a phrase, Kelly, which I'm sure you've heard before.
Aye, right.
Yeah, and it's one that will be, I think, across people's lips
as they've been listening to that podcast
that's going to be available later on.
That's the one that Dan Rowan is recording.
You'll also be able to hear David Wheeler,
who is the Wiccan player and the PFA Sustainability Champion,
talking about the environmental impact of these awardings,
as you've heard from John as well.
You will hear some of that at halftime.
But as I say, it goes into it in much more detail.
We'll go into it in much more detail on the podcast
that you'll be able to listen to.
Pan Evan and John Murray focusing for now on Juventus
against Manchester City and Turin.
That's our commentary match tonight on Five Live Sports.
Arsenal taking on Monaco at the Emirates.
And there are five matches in the championship as well.
Sheffield United are looking to move back to the top of the table
after Leeds took top spot with a win over Middlesbrough on Tuesday.
Their way to Millwall is going to be Neil Harris's penultimate match in charge.
Aaron Paul is there first.
Should be just underway, Aaron.
Yeah, nil-nil here, Kelly.
The two-game farewell tour begins tonight
as Neil Harris departs Millwall for the fourth time.
The news, unexpected but not surprising when it dropped yesterday morning.
Harris's demeanour has been really far from positive
for our many will-point fingers at the club's hierarchy.
But one message is very, very clear.
This is his decision.
Chris Wilder, he's rejuvenated Sheffield United
in this, his fourth spell with the Blades.
His side will go top with victory.
He brings Brewster and Suter into his starting eleven.
Tanganga, Essay and Ivanovic come in for Millwall.
And Aaron, as you say, for the reasons that you give
around Neil Harris and his parting of ways with the club,
it feels like there's very little margin for error
in the next appointment for Millwall.
Frighteningly small amount, Kelly.
The previous incumbent, Joe Edwards,
has brought in a relatively untested head coach.
Well, completely untested head coach,
given his first senior opportunity.
And that was nothing short of disastrous.
And when Neil Harris was brought in to Millwall in February this year,
he was asked to simply save the club by chairman James Berrelson.
He stabilised it.
He harnessed the power of this brilliant stadium.
And we're going away to Southampton for his first game
and seeing Millwall put in a proper, typical, gritty South London performance
and beating Russell Martin's swashbuckling Saints 2-1.
And that just basically proved that the catalyst for what they've done here,
they are in really, really good form, Millwall.
That's what frustrates supporters, that it's going to be disruption again.
But again, going back to your point, there is no margin for error.
They have to get the next one bang on
because everyone is looking at Birmingham City last year
as a bit of a benchmark and saying they got it wrong.
Look what happened to them.
No club wants to be relegated out of this division.
Aaron, thank you very much for now.
Aaron Paul, then, across everything that's happening
between Millwall and Sheffield United.
Frank Lampard got his first win as Coventry boss at the Den at the weekend.
They're away to West Brom,
and they could move into the playoff places with a win.
Sanny Roger-Vadula is at the Hawthorne for us.
Hi, Sanny.
Good evening, Kelly.
Well, there's a split with the home fans after 10 draws in 11.
The glass half fullers, say Carlos Corberan's side,
are indeed 11 unbeaten.
Half empty, only one victory in 11.
The weirdest run in the EFL.
Albion swap Bartley for Mason Holgate,
the only change to decide that needed Tom Fellow's deflected effort
for a 2-2 with Sheffield United.
Lampard makes two.
Josh Eccles for Taupe in the middle,
and Norman Bassett for Sims up top.
Ephraim Mason-Clark has two and two.
It's a derby.
West Brom did a double last season.
No Cov win here in 17 years.
Sanny, thank you.
We will keep you up to date with tonight's other three matches in the championship.
Cardiff take on Preston.
It's Hull against Watford,
and QPR versus Oxford.
On to cricket, the third and deciding one-day international
between England and South Africa.
The series currently level at one all.
There was a lengthy delay due to a lightning storm.
England bowler Tash Farrant is with us now,
and part of the TMS team on Five Sports Extra.
Tash, is it fair to say that England are struggling with the conditions a bit?
Yeah, they are.
Marazane Catt was brilliant up top.
She picked up three wickets.
She's just bowled her last over.
England need 59 of 60 balls.
But Tammy Beaumont, she's going well.
She opened the batting.
We didn't know whether England might rejig their order,
actually, after having lost so many overs in the second inning.
She's 43 of 31.
So England, they're four wickets down.
But while Tammy Beaumont is there, they seem pretty set.
If she can stay in for a little bit longer,
they seem like she could get her side over the line today.
Tash, for now, thank you very much.
There's commentary at the moment over on Sports Extra
if you want to follow that one.
In the Women's Champions League, Chelsea host 20 tonight.
Sonia Bompastorz's side already in the lead.
