Fall in the backcountry of BC. A season of reflection, calm waters, and vibrant coves.
With the summer crowds gone, it's the perfect time of year to find solitude.
For this mini two-night adventure, we headed back to one of our favorite places,
this time to Clearwater Lake. After a quiet morning fishing,
we paddled to Huckleberry Wrecksite and set up camp on a sandy beach.
Once everything was unpacked, I decided to brave the chilly waters for a swim.
Chantelle dipped her toes in, but quickly decided it was too cold to dive in herself.
The crisp fall air made warming up by the fire afterward all the more satisfying.
The next morning, it was clear that fall was in full swing, and a paddle over to Barbie Wrecksite.
I hope you enjoyed watching this mini fall adventure.
