Can I Score past a Professional Amputee GOALKEEPER? (100 Shots)

Yes guys, so we're back with another video
and there's loads of awesome stuff coming up today.
We see how long it takes to score the perfect free kick,
how good is a professional amputee goalkeeper,
and we film a football match with an FPV drone.
Let's get into it.
The perfect shot, how long will it take?
So we made a football-sized circle
and stuck it in the top right corner.
Predictions, how many shots?
74, impossible.
It's not going in, man!
Now despite the pessimistic predictions from the lads,
Kam and I were determined to make this happen.
I'm sorry about the quality,
but this is the closest we got until,
and you're probably not going to believe this,
but I promise it's true.
So we kind of gave up trying this
and were just messing about talking.
And I took a random shot and hit the most insane
outside of the boot curve,
right in the hole in the top corner.
Now you only have my word for this,
but I promise it's true and I'm still fuming
we didn't record it.
And this is our reaction right after it happened.
Right, he has just messed his touch up
and banged it through.
So the answer to the question is 142 shots
to hit the perfect free kick.
So this is Thomas Atkinson.
He's a goalkeeper who plays professional amputee football
for England and Newcastle United.
He's just 17 years old and I met up with him
as I wanted to see just how good he really was in goal
and to see how difficult it would be
for me to score past him.
I'll be having a hundred shots and keeping a tally
of how many hit the back of the net.
I play like, when I play, I play like this.
So it's just completely inside.
So like some goalkeepers have like different amputations.
So like some would be amputated at the elbow
or like at the shoulder, like amputate the wrist.
So just keep like all a level playing field.
We all play with our arm inside.
Before we go into it, I wanted to ask him a few questions
that I thought people would be interested to know
about amputee football and his experience playing in goal.
Just a couple of questions before we start.
How long have you been playing football?
I've been playing football since I was probably around five.
And that's 12 years ago.
Then amputee football, I started when I was nine.
So eight years ago.
It's only two legs and one arm.
So the wind kind of messed up the audio here.
So I'm just going to jump in.
Tom was basically just explaining
how in amputee football,
the outfield players will have one leg and use crutches
and the goalkeeper will normally have two legs and one arm,
but he's an exception to the rule
that he's a double amputee.
So I asked him how that made his job in goal more difficult
and how he dealt with that.
Yeah, it does make it difficult, definitely.
But you think, oh, if I had two legs,
maybe I could have done better than that.
I would have got it.
You know, it is what it is.
It's just something you've got to get over
and something you've got to deal with.
This might sound ridiculous,
but is there a side you prefer diving to?
Because some-
Yeah, yeah.
To my right-hand side.
When I'm diving this side, I'm losing this area.
Okay, so-
I've got to dive further stretch.
It does make that side more difficult.
It's harder, but obviously a striker in amputee football
is going to know that.
Yeah, so how do you deal with that?
You've just got to overcome it.
You've got to adapt to it.
Sometimes on penalties, I'll stand back to my one side,
just as a mental game.
So after that chat,
it was time to get underway with the 100 shots.
And as we go along,
I'm going to be making it harder and harder for Tom in goal.
So Tom has got warmed up and I got my boots laced up
and we started with the nine-a-side goals,
which is standard size for amputee football.
Later, we'll move on to the 11-a-side goals.
So first off, we've got the long range shots.
20 of these.
Yeah.
You said you'd be disappointed if you-
I would be.
I'm very disappointed.
He doesn't want any of these to go in.
I'm hoping to get quite a few of them, but we'll see.
All right.
First shot.
Save.
I don't know how many shots I've had so far,
but it feels like quite a lot.
And so far, I've not got a goal from the long distance.
So, let's see what we can do.
I need one of these.
Oh, it's down so low.
Can we just take a moment to appreciate this next save?
Oh, no!
That was ridiculous.
Off the little finger.
That's mad.
What's wrong with this one?
No support in this one.
No support.
I'm hitting them hard.
I'm not holding back on these shots,
just so everyone knows.
No, it's going to be a bit more productive, mate.
Ridiculous.
All right, we're getting closer.
What?
I think all goalkeepers are the exact same.
They let a goal in,
they're just fuming about it for ages.
All right, so I've had quite a few shots so far.
We're going to have to get a bit closer after this round
because I need some help.
So, yeah.
1v1s next.
10 1v1s.
Let's go.
Who's your favourite keeper?
Do you have like a...
Ooh.
And...
Pickford.
Pickford?
Yeah, I'm looking at Pickford.
England boys.
Yeah, I like Pickford.
Penalty's next.
Should be fun.
Now, the penalties is where my job gets a bit easier
and Tom's a lot harder.
I'll be taking 25 of these.
Save.
Ooh, that was close.
And these are good penalties.
Oh, that's a save.
That's a big save.
If I do say so myself,
these have been some unreal penalties.
I did bring some gloves with me for this moment.
We're going to have a penalty shootout.
All right.
Penalty shootout.
I'm getting the gloves on.
See what I can produce.
So, yeah.
I lost the penalty shootout
and at this point I needed some help,
so we moved into the 11-a-side goals.
All right.
We're upping the stakes a bit.
11-a-side goals.
We have some more final shots in here.
See how many we can score.
Save.
That ball seems so flat now.
Oh.
Oh, he covered that.
Save.
Oh, I hit the knuckle on that.
Oh.
Oh, that's a big save.
There we go.
Oh.
That's ridiculous.
All right, you've covered distance on that.
Okay.
That was unreal.
Let's check out the scores.
So, out of 100 shots, I was able to score 16 goals,
but to be fair, most of the goals did come from penalties.
So, yeah, in conclusion, he's pretty good.
Right, so have you seen that Mbappe goal?
This is insane, and I want to see how hard it is.
Let's try and do it.
That's the one.
Back to you.
Am I even clipped?
After about 50 goes, this was the closest I got.
Oh.
That's the closest you get in.
This is just too difficult.
So, I spent the day filming a football commercial with ITV,
and there was an awesome drone pilot on set,
and I just wanted to show you how sick this footage is.
There's a mixture of freestyle stuff
and also some in-game clips.
Check it out.
Let's just pause it here real quick.
I hate to say it, but I'm not actually this good.
We're filming a football commercial,
so obviously the opposite team were letting me run through
and making me look very, very good
with some of the tackles that came flying in.
Cheers, lads.
