FBI director Chris Ray first appointed by President Trump in 2017 announced he would resign at the end of Biden's term over the clear sign that his tenure would be brought to an end by the nomination of cash Patel to the post president Trump released a statement which read the resignation of Christopher Ray is a great day for America as it will end the weaponization of what has become known as the United States Department of Injustice under the leadership of Chris Ray the FBI illegally raided my home without cause worked diligently on illegally impeaching and inditing me and has done everything else to interfere with the success and future of America they have used their vast powers to threaten and Destroy any innocent Americans some of which will never be able to recover from what has been done to them Ray again was nominated in 2017 to replace a corrupt and very self-obsessed James Comey and was back then supposed to turn the FBI around but under his watch Ray continuously let his three-letter agency run a muck spying on Catholics demonizing pro-life supporters attempting to undermine an election by targeting his old boss but now that Ray is leaving does cash Patel indeed have a clear path at reform or will the Deep State including Ry be fighting from the Shadows joining us now Montana attorney general kudon thank you so much for joining us happy to be here Chanel thanks for having me your reaction to Ray resignation and of course the timing of it well I think this is a smart move on his part I mean obviously he could see which way the wind was blowing uh president Trump does not trust him he was brought in to do a job that he could not perform uh there's one thing we know about President Trump he's going to give you a job and expect you better do the job uh and Chris Ray was brought in to turn the FBI around to fix a lot of the abuses uh and he didn't do it frankly he fell in with the Deep State uh they went after Christians they went after parents uh you know parents just trying to to parent their children and take care of their kids and instead they got investigated so we've just seen a lot of weaponization of the FBI it's clearly time for Chris Ray to go and and I'm looking forward to seeing cash Patel in there did the state of Montana did your office have any run-ins with the Biden doj yeah we certainly have uh I mean we we've had a number of instances um I've met with all those those three-letter agencies for the most part we've had a number of instances with the ATF here in Montana now I will say the local ATF agents the ones that we know uh that we've worked with for years uh they're for the most part really really great but when that Administration change happen happened we definitely saw sea change uh we saw businesses targeted uh you know the IRS certainly that we had a crazy situation where the IRS showed up with tactical vests and AR-15s uh and and went after a a local gun store that was that was a a concerning one that I think probably had some FBI connotations there but frankly they still won't talk to us about it um so we we've had a number of these instances you know the FBI plays a plays a vital role in Montana because we have a number of Indian reservations uh and the federal government has primary jurisdiction on those reservations in criminal cases so we need the FBI to come in and do their job and what we've seen on our Indian reservations in the last four years is kind of the the exact opposite we we've seen more reluctance to come on our Indian reservations to address the drug problem to address the human trafficking problem uh and instead seem to turn a blind eye so we're we're looking forward to a new day with the FBI uh certainly a lot of Americans are hoping that's the case do you expect Biden to Pardon Reay there's talk about preemptive pardons being handed out uh and Ray was one of the names that were floated Biden of course announced pardons for 39 people already and he's commuted the sentences of about 1500 people this is the largest of any president for all our viewers asking where one America news is heading in the future we would like to introduce you to o live o live is the best way to stay up toate on all of the hard-hitting straight shooting National and international headlines and the best part is oan live is only $4.99 per month all the credible honest unbiased reporting one americ news offers at a fraction of the cost of cable just go to oann.com to easily sign up for o live and stay informed
