HIGHLIGHTS | Celtic FC vs. Real Madrid CF - UEFA Women's Champions League 2024-25

Oh, brilliantly done by Caicedo. Barkley hook line and sinker. The Colombian continues. Sprayed for Fey. Head up. Philippa angled Al. And the deflection made it awkward for Doherty. It couldn't have been simpler for Caroline Weir. Well, hard to tell from these angles. Either way Celtic off the hook. Yes, Senior Brun. That's more like it. And that will stand for Real Madrid. Denied not a minute ago by a dubious flag. There is no questioning that finish from Senior Brun. It's a beauty. And there's time here for Brun to take this down. And it's Mrs. Clarke and into the arms of Doherty. That could have, maybe, been the edges of it, if not the thick of it. But Chelsea had to work extremely hard, as did Real Madrid at home. They're having to do so away again. That's a wonderful spin from Weir. Fey down. And Doherty keeps it ticking. Carmona popping up for Linda Caicedo. Carmona again with fizz for Hayes. And Caroline Weir. The scoring in Spain against Celtic. It's been a while since she left Scotland. Back on international visit to the Netherlands as well. Last time out in the Champions League, 3-2 against FC Twente, although 22nd was scored too little too late. Oh! A few inches lower and that would have guzzed Doherty a red face. I wonder how much longer Naomi Fey is running the team will last. Starting on the right lately with Atin. Fey. Angledale for Linda Caicedo. Murphy Agnew. Back. Caicedo strikes. She hasn't had too many, if any, efforts on goal so far. Your eyes off Linda Caicedo, though. Just announced as... She doesn't need an invitation to explore this. Naomi Fey. It's deep and there's two. Once again, Real Madrid need to wait until there's 20 to play against Celtic before adding their second. And Signe Bruun now has more goals in the Champions League this season than she does in Liga F. Fey's cross. Pinpoint. Absolute perfection. Three games for Real Madrid before. A bit of time off. Deportivo La Coruña on Saturday before Chelsea at home on Tuesday. Huge match and then Villarreal away on Friday the 20th. You can see it. Can't fend off Kerner. Is there one in this for Celtic as Noonan tries to pick her spot? And two of Celtic's subs almost immediately leaving a lasting impression on this. She's becoming more and more important to Real Madrid. Still mainly as a squad rotational player. Signe Bruun has the jersey. A couple of frighteningly good seasons. Alberto Dondo with Levante. She signed for Real Madrid this summer. 16 and 23 starts last term. And the season before that 28 and 30. So this is a move that she has earned. And plenty were interested. And indeed Real Madrid managed to convince her. Smith. Galvez. First and 72nd. Noonan on the scene. Kerner is tight. But those two have made an impact. Caicedo. Another World Cup winner in Real Madrid's ranks. Muller. Caicedo. Still Caicedo. Celtic have defended. A screamer from Bruun. And one free-flowing move has undone them. Garcia. And it's three for Real Madrid. And that one appeared to be the simplest of the lot. Alberto Dondo takes the acclaim. Another Champions League goal for her. Who sealed it against 20. And does so against Celtic. But this will be it. And Celtic's wait for a first point in the Champions League goes on.
