Jewelry Jar Opening With Me from Thrift Shop: Vintage Haul of Gold Silver Costume Jewelry

JEWELRY FOR BEAUTIFUL WOMEN
157 followers
Hello friends and today I will be unjarring a jewelry jar that I bought at Value Village.
So let's start the unboxing or opening of a jewelry jar.
Now first I want to tell you it was $39.99 but I had a coupon for 20% off so I wound
up only paying $32 for it.
I don't know what's in it.
It's not a Goodwill jewelry jar.
It's a Value Village one so if you haven't seen one of those yet, today's our day to
dig in.
Will we find gold jewelry?
Will we find silver jewelry?
Some people have found name brand jewelry in a jewelry jar such as by Chanel and other
designers.
Unbelievable.
The earring wants to jump out on us.
A little bit difficult.
Let's take a little bit out.
We have a dragonfly brooch.
Is it signed?
Hard to tell.
I don't think so.
It is a sweet piece.
I'll give it that.
It's a nice piece.
Very sweet.
Okay.
First one out.
Fly over here little guy.
We'll weed it down a little bit.
This is interesting.
All it has is a clasp.
Not sure what to do with that.
Do you just clasp it to itself or is it missing something?
Alright.
Put it on this side.
It's gorgeous.
Obviously costume because it's adjustable.
Well, not all costume jewelry is adjustable, but this is definitely.
That's gorgeous.
Oh, no.
Geez.
I like it.
Actually, I like it a lot.
It appears to have all the stones.
Okay.
Put you in this pile.
My likes.
Mystery jewelry jars.
These are so fun.
I can't believe.
This is the first time I've ever bought one.
Honestly.
And I've seen a lot of these.
I've seen other girls on YouTube, other ladies buying jewelry jars and opening them.
And I was like, you know what?
I got to get me a jewelry jar.
I don't see any signs, but it's very light.
It doesn't feel like anything special, although, although the pendant is very heavy.
It has a nice heft to it.
Surprising.
It's like kind of like enamel.
You see that?
Okay.
So we're here.
Maybe we're here.
How's that?
Okay.
We have a little bit more plastic off.
Here we go.
And I put numbers as I pull out a piece of jewelry for you.
So if you see something you like, write the number in the comments.
Or if you see something that's really valuable, let me know.
Say jewelry number five.
Oh, my gosh.
It is so nice.
And I think it's something special.
Let me know.
I'd love to know.
Oh, this one here has hallmark LC.
I'm not very familiar with hallmarks, to be honest.
I have to always look them up.
There's a few that jump out at me.
Nice piece.
Gorgeous.
Okay.
Oh, a crocodile rock.
A ring, an alligator ring.
Oh, my goodness.
It appears to have both of its eyeballs.
Nice piece.
Should I?
What do you all think of that?
Pretty cute.
Now, is it stamped?
I don't think so.
I'm looking through the back of my camera here.
So I have a little bit of trouble.
Actually, you know, honestly, that's a nice piece.
Very cute.
All right.
Should we put rings all together?
Why not?
Keep you in the frame.
Okay.
I can tell right off the bat this is vintage.
I had these when I was a kid, and they were old when I was a kid.
Any names?
No, I'm sure some of you guys have seen this before.
Check it out.
Cute little wannabe emeralds in the eyes.
A few crystals in the snout.
But what is it?
Is it a monkey?
That tail kind of...
What the heck are you?
You're something cute.
Okay, brooches.
Brooches.
Put you here.
Oh, I'm loving this.
I'm hooked on it now.
Jewelry jar unboxing.
Unjarring.
This is so much fun.
So much fun.
I'll tell you.
Okay.
A choker.
And there's a bit of a name on it.
Okay.
Nine West.
Yes.
When they write it right out, it's like, oh, I know this one.
I can spot that a mile away.
Nine West.
Nice.
Nine West.
So far, this jar has been quite impressive.
Obviously not diamonds.
They feel so plastic.
But nice.
Nice.
Chromie beads.
Gorgeous.
I can't believe this is a nice jar of jewelry.
My goodness.
Thank you, Value Village.
Oh, okay.
So you're a broken necklace.
So obviously this is broken.
So I'm going to put the broken stuff or what I think is broken.
See, this is just, all this is, is a clasp with a piece of a chain.
So I'm going to put you in the mystery pile.
It's all a mystery.
So this was bought in a thrift shop.
All this.
Whoa.
Okay.
Got to be fake.
Missing the diamonds.
I should say just crystals.
Wants to be a Coco Chanel.
Wants to be nice and heavy, though.
It's heavy.
It's a nice piece.
It's just too bad.
Feels like a knockoff.
Would that be something if it was a real deal?
Coco Chanel in my jewelry jar?
Mm-hmm.
I doubt it.
Okay.
You're kind of broken.
You're missing your, I don't know.
We'll put it here.
It's fixable for somebody who's pretty handy.
I want to see what this is.
And here we have, that's a pretty earring.
My goodness.
FA.
You know who that is?
That's a pretty earring.
The gold tone is very nice.
I'll give it that.
That's pretty.
Okay.
Earrings.
Do we have a spot?
No.
How about up here?
Oh, I hope the other one's in there.
What do we have here?
Very lightweight.
No hallmarks.
Okay.
What do you look like on?
Give you an idea.
It's a nice piece.
How's that?
It's strange.
It has a nice heft to it.
It's a nice ring.
I like, gosh, guys, I like everything that I've got so far.
I mean, this is probably one of the better jewelry jars out there for, you know, basic
costume jewelry so far.
Not a lot of broken pieces.
Maybe they're all at the bottom.
And we have a part of an earring.
The necklace will need to.
Here we have an earring.
Seems to be a hallmark, like a triangle inside.
Anybody knows what that one is?
Let me know.
Gorgeous piece.
Gorgeous.
Hefty.
Okay.
Here you go.
Another earring.
They're not together, unfortunately, so it's hard to tell.
Okay.
We'll put you down.
It feels a little plasticky.
Another little guy.
Tiny little heart ring.
Hallmarks.
Okay.
Not seeing anything.
A girl's ring, I would say.
Yes.
Okay.
And here we go.
Oh.
Adjustable.
All right.
So we know.
Nice, though.
Are we missing stones?
I don't think so.
Oh, wait.
Yes, we are.
We're up here.
Okay.
Still a nice piece, though.
Very nice.
All right.
Put you here.
Okay.
You're jumping out.
I think this is that broken one.
Is it?
No.
I'm not, though.
So we have a tiny heart with a tiny little wannabe diamond.
I don't know if it's real.
Oh, and we have a hallmark on it.
Can you read that?
I can't.
I can't read it.
Maybe it's upside down.
All right.
Necklace.
You'll go right here.
Letter.
Letter L. Laverne.
Remember Laverne and Shirley?
That looks like it's been attached to it like an add-on, but yeah, I think somebody added
that on.
We have just a cute little beaded bracelet.
Nice.
Okay.
Bracelets.
I'm out.
Up there.
I need longer arms.
Oh, my.
Oh, my gosh.
This thrift store jewelry haul is incredible so far.
I'm so glad you guys are watching with me.
I'm seeing all this for the first time with you.
I didn't peek in.
Now, we are missing the clasp.
Are we not?
Yes.
They're just two circles.
Very easy fix if the rest of it's all intact.
Oh, my.
This is nice.
Okay.
We have Leah.
I think it says Leah Sophia.
Leah Sophia.
Does that mean anything to you?
Leah Sophia.
Okay.
It's gorgeous.
It feels...
Oh, I just want to hold this all day long.
You know that kind of...
Okay.
Getting away from myself here.
Getting too excited.
Let's see you in a picture, Leah Sophia.
There we go.
Ouch, ouch, ouch.
Picky.
This one's kind of picky.
I'll get you out.
Just one.
Okay.
I'm missing a stone right off the bat.
At least two stones right there.
This one up here, too.
So, this could probably be salvageable for jewelry projects, unless, of course, it's
a name brand.
Gorgeous.
Daisies.
Tons of fake gems.
Let's look at the other side real quick.
Here's the back side.
Nice job, though.
Nice work.
Okay.
Here is the clasp.
Oh, it has a little ball, so...
A bit of glam.
So, at first look, I don't see a hallmark.
It feels like costume jewelry all around.
Okay.
And missing some stones.
About time for a ring, so it's not adjustable.
It's funny.
This one looks silver.
Oh, I think I see a name.
It looks like silver, but it's more of a light gold tone.
Don't see a name after all.
All right.
So, here you have it.
Gorgeous.
Wow.
I'm really liking what I'm finding so far.
My $32 jewelry jar is really, really exciting me, actually.
Okay.
So, this one weighs a ton.
It's a great big necklace.
It's extremely long and heavy.
I didn't see a name.
It feels kind of costume.
It looks kind of costume.
Kind of a bronze look to it, but it's intact.
I mean, everything you need...
This could have been longer.
I'm thinking it broke off.
Maybe it's somewhere in the bottom, but...
Oh, wait.
It broke off here, actually, so that would need to be repaired.
This piece here needs to go on to the other end.
So, this is a giant, giant necklace.
Heavy.
I think it's more for the holidays.
Bright white gemstones that are obviously plastic.
They're plastic.
Okay.
I took up a lot of the jar.
All right.
Let's do this.
Okay.
Who's on top?
You are.
Oh, cute.
That almost looks handmade.
Oh, that's nice.
That's a nice little bracelet.
Beads.
Glass beads.
I don't see much there, but...
Man, this is like enamel.
Yeah.
Okay.
Bracelet.
Nice.
No name on it.
Where do the bracelets go?
Over here.
Pulling out stuff that's easy to pull out.
Here we go.
Metal.
Heavy.
With some sort of stone.
I haven't seen any markings.
I haven't seen any markings inside.
But, yeah.
A nice piece.
Fits me.
Well, I can't put my fingers together once it's on.
Okay.
Ring.
Here you go.
Do your thing.
So, here's the deal with this one.
That's cute.
It feels costume.
I don't see a tag or a hallmark right out of the gate.
But this piece here would have been up here and it broke off.
Like that.
Easy fix.
Okay.
Next.
Here.
That's sweet.
Nice pale green.
Summertime.
Friendship bracelet, perhaps.
This is nice.
Looks handmade.
Alright.
Bracelets.
I'm seeing this all for the first time with you.
Nice.
Another nice one.
Alright.
Didn't see any signatures.
Stones seem to be all there.
Gorgeous.
Okay.
Oh, another brooch.
Heart.
All the stones appear to be there.
I don't see any hallmarks.
Okay.
A little brooch.
A little hair.
Oh, this is nice.
Beaded.
Handmade, perhaps.
It's really pretty, actually.
It looks handmade.
It could be store-bought.
It's really nice.
Gorgeous.
Looks like it's in really good shape, too.
I'm liking this one.
Earring.
Jumping on board.
Should I...
Yeah.
Earring.
Where are we putting those?
Over here.
One long earring.
Okay.
You're broken.
You're broken right out of the gate.
This one's broken.
Broken in a couple spots.
Okay.
Oh, there's a hallmark on it.
Can you read that?
Do you guys can?
What is this?
What does this tell us?
What does this say?
Okay.
Broken, but with, obviously, some name brand on it.
Mystery.
Put you right there.
Lovely pieces.
And what's this?
Looks like a pop socket.
Okay.
We'll go here.
Broken pop socket.
And we have a clip-on earring.
Hallmarks on that one.
And...
Bam.
Nice.
Alright.
Over here into the...
Well...
What?
Okay.
Help me out with this.
Earring.
And then the...
I think an earring, or is it a pin?
Oh, I'm really not sure what I'm looking at.
Okay.
So we'll look at this one first.
It's a stretchy...
Stretchy bracelet.
And it looks like...
Well, the string's...
The elastic's starting to fray.
Be careful with it.
It's a nice piece, though.
It's in the yellow tones.
Yellows and peach.
And diamond.
Big diamond look.
Okay, bracelet.
There you go.
Another one.
Stretchy.
Oh, missing.
Okay.
So you'll go over here.
Oh, this is pretty.
What's this?
What are these colorful things?
Cute.
Oh.
Nice.
Oh, wow.
This is pretty.
I really like this.
Little bit of stretch to it.
Wow.
Kind of heavy, too.
Have you guys seen any hallmarks?
They're really nice.
Nice, stretchy.
Gorgeous, actually.
This one, I could see a part of it through the glass.
Oh, my.
Okay, please don't be broke.
Please don't be broke.
Yeah, this is my favorite.
This is my favorite so far.
And, you know, it's not...
It's not always about the name brands.
It's definitely a nice one.
I need to eyeball quickly for you.
See if we can get us a name brand on this one.
There's a hallmark.
Look at it.
Okay.
I love it.
It's heavy.
It's nice.
I'm very pleased with this mystery jewelry jar unboxing.
I'm very pleased with this.
Oh, my goodness.
Okay, you're going right here.
And did I mention we are in Canada.
Not a pin.
Imagine that all full of real diamonds.
I'm like, yay.
Okay, no.
I don't see any hallmarks off the cuff.
Canada pin.
Okay, there we go.
Brooches go where?
Right here.
You go right there, little guy.
What do we have here?
All right.
Mystery stuff.
Over there you go.
Nice black necklace.
They had some trouble at some point.
Just kind of knotted it all together.
But I guess it does the trick.
Nice glass beads, though.
Very nice.
This little guy.
That's cute.
The necklace part here, the rope part.
Strand is very, very worn.
As are the clasps.
This is nice.
It's like glue.
Glue over there.
Okay.
A fixer-upper.
One lone gem.
Plastic.
We're getting to the bottom of it.
Oh my, that's nice.
Pendant.
Nice pendant.
No name on it.
Appears to have all the stones.
That's for a necklace.
I'll let you go right here.
Broken.
Plastic.
Another stretchy.
Those fell onto the floor.
Those just fell onto the floor.
I'll put you over there.
Back to this bracelet.
A stretch.
No hallmarks.
On a quick eyeball, no hallmarks.
Very nice.
Gorgeous.
Goes with the nails.
Bracelets, you go up here.
Something that's just broken.
Oh, it's a pendant.
Nice enamel pendant.
Has all the stones.
Rainbow colors.
This jewelry jar opening has been very, very eye-opening.
So pendant, how about putting you right here.
Oh my.
Another pendant.
Okay, come on, have a name on it.
I see anything.
Gorgeous.
Oh yeah, that's really nice.
Really, really, really cute.
You go in there.
Another ring.
Kind of like enamel.
Enamel with stones all over.
Like a zebra pattern perhaps.
Seems to have all the rhinestones.
Let's look inside.
Okay, I'm not seeing any names.
Put you right here.
So this is like wiry.
Necklace, choker actually.
It doesn't stretch or move.
It's solid.
Looks like it has all the stones.
I don't see the name brand.
Nice piece, nice piece.
Put you over here perhaps.
That looks broken.
Yeah, it is broken here.
There's a name.
Can you read that name?
There you go.
I'm having trouble reading it.
Broken, broken earring.
Put you up there.
Getting to the bottom of it.
Random plastic gem.
Oh, a bumblebee earring.
Oh my goodness, that's so sweet.
Come on, have a name.
Look at that.
Look at that little guy.
Sweet.
I guess you'd be wearing it just like that.
Enamel.
Unless you see a name, I don't.
Okay, put you over here.
Clip-on.
Red with white stones of some sort.
Okay.
Some elastic from a bracelet.
So, alright, broken.
Look, something's broken right here.
Not sure what it was initially.
What is this, like art deco perhaps?
Still a lot more to go through.
Jewelry jar.
Treasure hunting.
What do we have here?
Oh, that's cute.
Very lightweight.
I did not see a mark.
Looks like it could be part of a set.
Some more earrings.
Lone.
Lone earrings.
All by themselves.
Okay, put you over here.
Earring.
Oh my.
What do we have here?
That's sweet.
Yes.
Here's the clasp.
Oh, there's a name.
Okay.
There we go.
Looks like A-L-L-A-I-N.
Nice piece.
Appears to have all the stones.
You are going to go in front of the jar.
How's that?
Yes.
And we have another pendant.
Maybe off of an earring.
Amethyst color with gold.
I'm not seeing any hallmarks off of.
Okay, pendant.
Put you right over here.
We have a long earring.
All by itself.
And another earring.
Looks like a marble.
Looks like an amethyst marble.
It actually feels like amethyst.
Nice back.
Glass.
Looks like amethyst.
Okay.
And a tiny little ring missing.
Missing its center stone.
Really, really tiny and thin.
Okay, rings go here.
Rings go here.
Oh, this is fun.
Getting down to it.
Another earring.
Obviously they don't match.
Pull them out together.
Whoops, not seeing any hallmarks.
Okay, I'll pick that one up later.
There you guys.
Oh, what do we have here?
A pendant.
There you go.
Probably off of an earring.
I'm guessing.
Doesn't seem to have a mark.
A lot of wires.
Alright.
Looks like costume.
Oh, you're cute.
Oh, this is nice.
Vintage butterfly.
Screw on, clip on type.
I remember these when I was a kid and they were old then.
Oh my god.
Okay.
A lot of odds and ends.
Odds and ends.
Searing.
Stone inside.
Imagine a really nice
clip on.
Kind of a purple amethyst color stone.
Alright.
Getting down to it.
Random bead.
One earring.
Oh.
Oh, there's a name.
Alright guys, what does that say?
Stella.
It looks like Stella.
A little ball.
Ball earring.
Opalescent color.
We got a star.
Shellfish? Starfish?
Starfish.
And a little stud diamond.
It's a diamond.
Nice.
Need to be tested.
Getting down to it.
We've been waiting for this.
Purple elephant.
Trunk up. Good luck.
Oh, a little princess.
Little tiny crown.
I like that earring.
I like it a lot, actually.
Even the back is interesting.
Alright guys, let's keep going.
We're getting down to it.
We're getting down. Mystery jewelry jars.
Unboxing.
Okay, I've seen
this one somewhere.
This goes with something. I think it's over here.
Put you there.
Then we have this guy.
Another, I guess, pinch-on earrings.
I'm not sure what that's called.
Kind of like clip-on, but you turn it
and it gets tighter.
Lots of little crystals of some sort.
Skull.
Alright.
Getting down to it.
A little blue guy.
Blown bead.
And another
little diamond stud
looking guy.
To be tested.
Another one, too.
And a
part of an earring
that they didn't quite want to throw out.
That's nice.
That's really nice.
Okay, let's just dump these right into my hand.
And what do we have?
Little guy.
Let's wipe all of them quickly.
I hope you like this.
