This video will teach you how to make a DEADLINE that will KILL every insect that crawls through it, over it or lands on it. It's also a RESIDUAL KILLER meaning that the DEADLINE will last for 30 and up to 90 days
🛑 CAUTION🛑 This will kill beneficial insects as well, it does not discriminate. In the concentrations I use .01% - .001% dilution, it is not harmful to mammals (including cats) but care should be taken in higher concentrations around cats. We have Pekinese Persian Cats in our home and they've NEVER in 30 years had any symptoms of toxicity from our use of Pyrethrins or Permethrin II, not from the aerosol sprays, or from touching deadlines we've put down or from our treated clothing when holding them. More on cat exposure at the bottom. This is also harmful to aquatic life (fish) so cover your fish tanks if spraying nearby.
PLEASE SUBSCRIBE - It helps me a TON.
Keep pesky insects from sneaking in under doors and windows and any other place they invade your space.
It's FAST... any insect that crawls over this, whether its newly wet or a week old dry, will DIE in just 1-2 minutes.
Knowledge is power I encourage you to watch my other KILLING videos to understand all 5 of my favorite insect killers, what they do and how they work.

THE KILLERS in this Episode: Pyrethrins (natural) and Permethrin (man made) Search the internet for PERMETHRIN
PERMETHRIN MIXING INSTRUCTIONS FOR AROUND THE HOUSE, TRAVEL & CAMPING I mix 10% permethrin emulsifiable concentrate in these ratios. The final dilution is about .001 percent permethrin. It kills fast and is mostly water, deadly to insects wet or dry, and when it dries it’s still deadly for up to 90 days: 1½ oz (abt 3Tbsp) per gallon (128oz) container 2 tsp per (32oz) quart spray bottle 1 tsp per 10-16oz bottle ½ tsp per 8oz spray bottle ¼ tsp per 4oz spray bottle.
PERMETHRIN MIXING INSTRUCTIONS FOR ORNAMENTAL AND GARDEN PLANTS This will not just control, but KILL the pests I mix at least 1/4th as much 10% permethrin concentrate for this application as the instructions above
In a quart spray bottle add: ½ tsp Permethrin soluble oil 1 tsp dish soap Fill with water. Test spray on subject garden or ornamental plants prior to using on the entire plant. Some plants DO NOT LIKE chrysanthemum or permethrin so test first.
Which leaves the final ratio of permethrin at 0.0103125% dilution rate or .01% permethrin. Enough to kill invertebrates (insects) quickly but not a high enough concentration to affect mammals.
Permethrin or Permectrin II is a water soluble oil that can be mixed in water or oil bases.

Hey, welcome to my channel.
Brad Wardle, callsign Captain Wingnut
from Cougar Ridge Ranch,
high in the Uintah Mountains of Eastern Utah.
This video is part three in a five-part series
on the killers I use to kill crawling,
flying, and biting insects.
This video is gonna teach you how to kill crawling pests
for up to 90 days with a technique called a deadline.
And we're gonna use a chemical
called pyrethrins or permethrin.
If you haven't already watched my five killers video,
watch that and you're gonna learn how this chemical
is non-toxic to all mammals
and absolutely 100% deadly to insects.
And you also wanna watch the other videos in this series
to learn how the other killers work.
They're gonna be your favorite killers.
Okay, let's go kill something.
Before I forget, don't forget to subscribe
and click the notify button
so that you know when I release new videos.
Before we get started,
please understand that this is what I do.
I'm letting you be a fly on the wall and watch and learn
from somebody who's been around the park a few times,
but everything in life requires
that you take a personal initiative
and use common sense in all that you do.
So if you don't like what I do, that's no problem.
Nobody's gluing your eyes to the screen.
Just click away.
If you do continue to watch,
please use your common sense
and figure out a way that it'll work for you.
Just don't do it
if it's against your personal views or ethics.
Think before you act.
You don't need to lecture me
and the other flies on the wall here
on why you personally think it's wrong.
We don't care.
Please keep that to yourself
and we'll all have a wonderful time.
Killing crawling insect pests.
You're gonna use pyrethrins for this.
This technique is called a deadline.
This will kill basically any insect
that crawls over or through it,
like ants, spiders, roaches, fleas,
ticks, chiggers, mites, anything.
If it's a roach and it crawls over it,
it will kill it in seconds.
If it's a spider and it crawls over it,
it will kill it in seconds.
And this is a residual killer,
meaning that this will kill for 30 to 90 days
depending on traffic, water wash off, et cetera.
You can buy the concentrate in eight ounce,
32 ounce and bigger jugs.
Or you can buy the ready to spray aerosol cans
or you can make your own spray bottle like I do.
Watch part four in this video series for that.
Either way, you'll make a deadline
that will kill for months.
I wanted to get to our place in Hawaii to film this one
because it's such a visually stunning effect.
But COVID has kept us here on the ranch.
We literally spray this on the door seals
on the door baseboards where we're staying.
And in the morning, there are dead roaches
who only made it 10 to 12 inches past the deadline.
They're on their back with their legs just barely moving,
but they're a goner.
Watch part one of this video
so you can see how to permanently kill roaches.
But when you're traveling, you need a fast kill.
You don't have time for the permanent kill to take in,
to kick in in two weeks to three weeks.
Just spray this on the door seals,
window seals, and baseboards and let it dry.
We do this whenever we travel abroad.
And the next morning, there are dead roaches and spiders
all over the floor, about one to two feet inside.
It doesn't even matter if it's dry.
It works just as well.
You don't know it's there,
but you've given yourself a deadline
that is instant death to any insect that crawls over it.
Even flies that may crawl under the door
and touch the dried pyrethrin are toast.
It doesn't seem to bother the geckos and the lizards
to my wife's chagrin, but it does smack the insects down.
They cross the deadline in the night
and they make it about one to two feet before their legs up.
We spray it on the floor at the entrance to every room
around the baseboards.
It's like this.
If you're a crawly thing and you cross this deadline,
you're toast, baby.
Okay, next up, killing airborne insects quickly,
indoors and outdoors.
Hey, thanks for coming to my channel.
