Welcome back to Vlogmas. Day 2 in Brighton. Day 2? Day 3 for us. Day 3 in Brighton. But
day 2 for you guys. We're spending the morning in Brighton this morning. We're going to go
get a coffee, a croissant and some food. We are. But we've got a really Christmasy evening
planned haven't we? We have. So mainly this vlog is going to be later on in the day and
we're going to take you to something that we planned. We literally booked it months
ago didn't we? Yeah, we booked this Brighton trip around it because we'd already booked.
Because we'd already booked what we're doing later. I'm starving again. Yeah, my belly's
rumbling. My belly's rumbling as well. We're so used to in the morning getting up and having
a little snack at like 6am aren't we? Well I definitely am. I don't. But it's now like
to forget the camera. You're such a vlogger honey. That was the most cringiest thing ever.
Why? Because you're like holding hands and walking around. We couldn't come to Brighton
without coming down to the beach, especially considering our hotel is up there. So here
we are on Brighton Beach. There's quite a few people on the beach. There is. We've had
such a nice time in Brighton, like don't really want to leave. I always just love the sea
air. Something about the air feels nicer. Yeah. Do you know what I mean? It does. Look
at those doggies, they're having the best time. I imagine, yeah. There was a little
sausage dog that was running so fast. In the comedy show they were making jokes about Brighton
being aggregate. The guy was Australian. If you didn't watch our last vlog, I'm referencing
the comedy show we went to last night, but it's in our last vlog. We spoke about it.
He was saying that the beach of Brighton is aggregates, which is not far wrong really.
It's not far wrong. But it's still nice. We don't have one so. I think we should go to
the Christmas market before then. Yeah, we're going to go to the Christmas fair as well
because they do. We had some hot chocolates there a couple of years ago and they were
banging. So we're going to go and have those. Imagine if they don't have it anymore. This
Christmas market isn't the same as what it was last year. We had like a really nice like
melted chocolate, hot chocolate here in this exact same place, but there's no options to
get that. So we're just looking for somewhere else in Brighton to get a really nice hot
chocolate and we're going to go and get one. But currently we're just stood under the little
event tent. There's all like Christmas market stalls and stuff, but there's just no like
dedicated hot chocolate one, which there was last time. Decision's been made. We're going
to go to Hotel Chocolate. Which we already drink at home. Yeah, but it's still good hot
chocolate. Yeah, they do it the same way. Yeah. So yeah, that's a shame, but we're going
to go and get some velvetised hot chocolate and then probably hit the road. Hotel Chocolate.
Let's give this a try then shall we? Bethan can't wait. How do we get into the hot chocolate
because I'm going to get that all over me. Oh, that chocolate cream. Don't fucking drop
it on me. I'm not. You're like eating over me. Oh my God. I actually can't. That's so
embarrassing. You need to apologise to that guy for having to handle your bloody retainer.
You leave that everywhere. So the hotel has just called us literally as we've just left
the hotel, like parking area. And he's like, I think there might be something in your room.
It looks like maybe something for your teeth at night. He's like, I'm not quite sure why
you'd wear this. And it's my flipping invisible retainer. I've left it in the room and they've
had to handle it. I feel so bad and so embarrassed. Now I've got to walk back in there and I need
it because they're worth a fortune. God, why me? Oh my God. Got it? Got it in a bag. He
was like, do you want me to put it in a bag? I was like, yeah. He thought it was for clenching
your teeth at night. Yeah. Well people do wear them to like people stop them like grinding
their teeth. Yeah. But we're leaving just as the sun's come out as per the normal suds
law of when you go away somewhere. Put that camera down, Joe. You're driving, honey. We're
driving home now. We're driving home for Christmas. We're driving home and then Christmas
night begins. So we'll catch up with you when we're heading there, I think. Yeah, bruh.
But lovely, lovely couple of days in Brighton. Perfect. Very nice. You cheeky bugger. You've
eaten some of mine. I have not eaten your advent calendar. You have. We've got back
and Bethan was really excited to have a couple of days extra on her advent calendar and it's
Thursdays and Fridays have already been opened. And now I'm getting the blame for even though
mine was completely not eaten. You've eaten mine? Why have I not eaten a third? Maybe
I was a day ahead. Maybe you ate the 13th thinking it was a third. Maybe. But then that
were here on the 12th. I didn't eat mine on the 12th. So I can eat the third. You can eat the
third. And the 14th. Which is today, right? Yeah. You swear you haven't eaten it? Yes, I swear I'm
eating it. That would be bad. I'm pregnant. Yeah, I haven't eaten your bloody advent calendar
chocolate. We've not got long before we're going to have to go back out. But that was a smooth
drive home apart from the fact we had to stop and charge up the car and we ended up stopping
for like 50 minutes. We are in the car now on the way to Wimpole. They do like a light trail,
which like we said earlier, we've been planning to do for ages, but we just never got around to
it. So this year we're doing it and from the pictures, it looks pretty good. It does. I think
there's like loads of lights for us to look at. If you followed our vlogmas last year,
it's really dark. It is dark. We won't film too much in the car. If you followed our vlogmas
last year, you know how crazy we go for Christmas lights. We just love looking at them. So I think
we're going to really enjoy it. Yeah, we are. So we'll see you when we get there.
A Yorkshire wrap. A Yorkie wrap, yeah. It's filled with like, what was it? Like cabbage,
like basically a roast dinner. Basically a roast dinner in a Yorkshire wrap. I went for chicken,
Jo went for beef. I went for beef. We're going to scram this and take you inside the enchanted
forest. That was my first ever Yorkshire pudding wrap. Really? Because I didn't used to eat
like meat really. I've never had one. And you rate it? It was really good. Yeah. Like
10 out of 10. 10 out of 10. Wow. Maybe we need to make them a home.
I'm so excited. I'm like a child. Everything changed.
Look at that. That'll be the next year's project.
It's horrible that there was a sign there that said that you can't come in.
So you're going to have to disguise yourself. As what? It said no dogs allowed. Oh, whoa.
That is horrible. That is so horrible. That is horrible. What do you reckon so far?
I loved it. I thought that was the end. Jo was like, what are you talking about?
Literally just that's the first little light show.
You look like a lumberjack. Yeah.
You get a picture of me and the main man. The main man. You look green. You look like Shrek.
Good. You? Very good. I like your jacket. Thank you. I like yours. Thank you very much.
I thought Starstruck and he said he liked my jacket.
He did. Santa liked your jacket. He said, I like yours too.
Bailey's hot chocolate in the bag. And he gave me the flake. How romantic am I?
That's very romantic actually because I can't have anything I want like Bailey's hot chocolate
of my life.
