Tips For Matching Clothes

Welcome and welcome back to another slow fashion video. Today I am taking this gorgeous slip dress
and I'm going to be styling it across multiple seasons and multiple occasions using items I've
already got in my closet and I'm going to keep those items as basic and simple as possible
so that hopefully you are able to get some ideas from today's video as well. I've chosen this
gorgeous slip dress because I think this is a universal piece that a lot of us may have
accumulated over the years especially with the popularity of this understated elegance in the
90s, really simple and minimal. However, I love doing this exercise of shopping my closet because
it means I get to come up with outfits that aren't dictated by trends or social media so
hopefully this helps you flex your creativity muscle and changes the way you see your closet
from just a bunch of things that you're tired of wearing to elements of style things like
playing with proportion and texture and color. So I'll be using all of these elements when I'm
restyling this dress today and a quick word on this dress. It is from the fabulous UK designer
Laura Jean. Laura kindly gifted me this dress with no strings attached. She didn't even ask me to post
or anything about it but I've worked with her before and I was just so happy to receive this
dress and I really wanted to style it a bunch of different ways because as I said you've probably
got something similar in your closet and if you don't then I would definitely go check out Laura
Jean even if you're just interested in a slow fashion company that walks the slow fashion talk
like nobody I've ever seen. Her materials and quality and craftsmanship is bananas and the size
inclusivity is just mind-blowing. Definitely go check her out but like I said not sponsored just
enjoyed today's video. Let me know if you have a favorite look in the comments below or if there's
another sort of universal piece you'd like me to style. I am always happy to do these videos for
you and I'm just so so grateful that you are here and that you're interested in choosing creativity
instead of consumption so thank you thank you for being here. I hope you have a wonderful rest of
your day, a wonderful rest of your week. Don't forget to like this video if you liked it or if
you learned something new. Hit subscribe if you haven't already and I will be back with another
slow fashion video. Ciao!
