Car Insurance Prices in 2024 Are Out of Control and it MUST BE STOPPED!
Dec 24, 2024
My car insurance before when I lived in Idaho was $355 for six months.
You know what they quoted me $1,110 for six months.
I guess I'm about to be a carless girl.
That is your new monthly rate $520 for car insurance.
That is more than the car payment on my lease car insurance payment is 770 a month.
Car insurance in 2024 is absolutely out of control and it needs to be stopped like today.
I don't know how some of these major insurance companies like Geico and Progressive are able to get away with charging the prices that they are doubling rates.
If not raising it by several hundred dollars when it comes time to renew if you guys have any experience with car insurance companies,
maybe this has happened to you your policy got raised.
Let me know down in the comment section below as I'd love to hear what you're paying and where you're from.
Otherwise, let's get right into today's episode.
I guess I'm about to be a carless girl.
What the f**k is going on with the car insurance rates in the United States of America?
I just received a text from Geico about an hour ago saying that I owed a bill or was going to be charged $520 on June 8th $520.
I called them.
I said, what is this charge for?
I'm a little confused.
I pay six months for my premium.
What is this $520 charge?
She said, oh, no, that's your new monthly rate.
$520 a month for car insurance.
What does that come out to?
That's like what three grand every six months.
That's literal insanity.
I thought she was going to say like $500 for her six-month policy and I'd be like that ain't that like at all.
Like I'd kill to have freaking a $500 every six-month policy.
No, that's every month.
That's bigger than some of the car payments.
We've seen in previous episodes.
We've made on this channel.
That is insanity.
I mean some people don't realize it's not just a car payment that you have to pay for and most people don't realize that.
Yeah, your car payment might be a fixed rate.
Like maybe you have a fixed interest rate and your car payment will forever be $400 for the length that you have the car for or whatever your term is, but they don't realize that your insurance rate is a variable rate.
And when you lease a car or finance a car, you have to get the highest level of car insurance.
Oh my $500 every month.
That is your new monthly rate $520 for car insurance.
That is more than the car payment on my lease.
Oh my God.
This video just keeps getting worse and worse and worse.
What car are you leasing that you're paying?
Oh and leasing is the worst thing you can do for the most part for majority of people.
That's the worst thing you can do and it's she's paying more for her insurance than to have the car itself.
How do I cancel?
How do I cancel my car insurance?
I don't need to drive anymore $520.
I do not drive a luxury vehicle.
You know how you can cancel you get your car repossessed which is going to be an episode soon here on the channel.
That's how you get rid of the car insurance.
That's how you get rid of your car payment.
Just get it repossessed.
Don't pick it up right from your driveway.
You don't even have to drive it there.
I'm in a Honda HRV.
I am not paying nearly $1,000 a month to be driving on the road in my Honda HRV before gas before maintenance before anything else.
I can't even let her finish this video.
That is pure insanity $1,000 a month for a Honda a Honda $1,000 a month on a Honda $400 for the car payment $500 for her car insurance a month.
This is the problem with when you when you when you don't own a car and this is why I preach owning your stuff own your car because there are these variable things people don't plan for the variables.
They don't plan for the risk and then they get into these horrible situations, which would all be avoided if you owned your car outright.
Yes.
I know even for owning a car.
It can become very expensive.
I understand outright the insurance but air you could get a beater car too.
That's the cheapest way to go here.
But not everybody wants that.
I get it.
I just got my rates for renewal here.
I'm paying $1,916 for two cars both paid off here in Florida.
We'll look over that a little bit later on in the video.
But oh boy, this is terrible.
I cried about this and I'm done crying about it.
My next steps are to call Honda figure out how I return my lease pay whatever penalty or whatever else I owe on that and then cut it loose.
What's her insurance car insurance payment is 770 a month.
This is going to be very difficult to get through this video.
I'm telling you right now.
I thought $500 a month a month for car insurance was bad.
This dude's paying $800 in insurance on a car like, oh, it's horrible.
There are so many things wrong with this and there are right ways to get car insurance.
This is one of them that you don't do.
Listen, if you are a young kid do not be getting a two-door car.
Do not be getting a two-seater car.
At all.
It's off-limits.
I'm sorry, unless you want to pay an arm and a leg for it.
It's going to be very expensive or have it under your parents name.
And then maybe it's a bit cheaper that way.
But even then also if you get in accidents, if you're prone and you have many accidents on your insurance, you have no business, you know, leasing a car.
You have no business financing a car.
I'm telling you right now.
Your insurance is going to be through the freaking roof.
Your best bet is to just drive a grandma-owned poop box for a couple of years just to get your insurance back down at the cheapest rate, which you'll have in that, you know, shit box for a while.
And once you get everything better, once your credit score and everything gets better, then you can consider getting a newer car.
But, oh my.
I've never heard of that.
Me neither.
What the f*** your life?
I haven't been licensed for very long either.
I got it when I was, my license when I was 19.
It's part of it.
And then the car has two doors.
So they charge a lot more for that as well.
Yep, and being a guy too.
See, here's the thing.
People don't think ahead.
You got to go through life like a chess game and you got to think two or three steps ahead.
Like a lot of people don't realize that.
Yeah, you can afford a car payment.
Yeah, you can afford a mortgage payment, which we've talked about.
But that doesn't mean you can afford the maintenance and the upkeep on the house.
That doesn't mean you can afford the insurance on a car.
You can't just go off the payment.
You need to go by the whole picture because there are so many things in here.
And like I said before, and I think it's extremely important.
If you, oh, if you think you can afford the car payment, that's great.
A car payment is at a fixed rate for the most part.
You'll always know what that bill will be.
Here's the thing.
You have to legally have insurance and insurance is a variable rate.
It's going to change and it's always going to go up over time unless you get a different car.
So maybe you can afford your car one year,
but the next year you're not going to be able to because of your insurance.
And this is why I stress to reduce and get rid of as many bills
and as many as much debt as you have in the future
because you don't know what the future holds.
You could lose your job. Insurance can go through the roof.
And you're screwed and it is going to destroy you.
Not many people think about this and I see it all the time.
This is why it is so important to either drive a beater
or by at least at the bare minimum have your car paid off
because guess what? When your car is paid off,
the insurance is significantly cheaper because you have more say.
There's a lot of gap insurance is a big one.
And then all the other, you know, you don't have to have the highest liability.
You don't have to have, sorry, you have to have liability.
You don't have to have comprehensive collision.
You can have those reduced significantly depending on what you want on your car.
You don't have much say in that when it comes with leasing
or financing a vehicle and having a car payment.
Why is car insurance so expensive?
Oh, why? Look at this chart.
It's doubled over 10 years, right?
Wow. Yeah.
Why is it really expensive?
From what I read, you know, from all the op-eds and etc, etc.
It's primarily because, you know, during the pandemic,
first things first, the value of the car went up, right?
Cars, there were shortages and all prices of cars went up, right?
And your insurance is usually based,
one of the things that determines your insurance is the replacement cost of your car.
So that's actually incredible. I didn't even think about that,
but it makes total sense. Like straight up,
it makes total sense. Back, you know, during the pandemic,
you know, used cars became a lot of money and new cars also were a lot of money,
especially like MSRP and stuff.
So yeah, it makes sense.
They have to insure the car for what it's valued at.
And I know there was a lot of problems
when people were getting their cars totaled out during the pandemic
and they were basing their payments,
what they pay you off, like what cars used to be.
And they had, it was a hard,
people are having a hard time getting the value of the car
because of how quickly things are inflating.
But that makes total sense.
That also explains why car insurance has gone up.
It doesn't explain why car insurance has gone down.
Maybe it has. I mean, my bill looks at just a hair lower.
That would also make sense too as your car gets older.
You would think as your car gets older and more miles get put on,
car insurance should go down because it's worthless.
That's, that would make sense.
But the problem is when you have inflation
and you have cars artificially inflating in price,
you would think you would, you know,
car insurance would go up.
But now that we're seeing that all go down significantly,
we should be seeing some significant drops in insurance,
but we're not. We're really not.
I think my policy probably went down like 50 bucks for six months.
I don't know why, but real stupid.
Really, really dumb. I can't stand car insurance.
The cost to replace it. So the value of it goes up.
The insurance is more expensive
because it's a more expensive item to insure, right?
New and used, right? And the other thing which is true,
I thought this was interesting, is nowadays,
because of all the technology in cars,
when you have a little, you can't just take it down to the street
to your mechanic when you have a fender bender,
he knocks the panel out, resprays it, and you're done.
Now, cars have like cameras everywhere, sensors.
Remember my Audi? Remember what happened to my Audi?
Remember the bill? It was almost the price of the car for a fender bender.
Why? Remember my headlight?
Yeah. That headlight was $12,000.
And all the cameras had to be replaced.
Even though there was just a little dent.
And I've known this because I also really like to work and tinker on cars.
I have a second channel, too, if you guys haven't seen already,
where I work on rebuilding cars that I buy totaled from the auction,
as well as my girlfriend's car and my car, too.
And this is so true, and a lot of people don't realize that.
But that's also the reason why MSRP goes up, too,
because there's so many more electronics thrown into a car.
It's a big headache. It really is a big headache.
People don't think about that,
but that's why a little car with a little itsy-bitsy fender bender
can get totaled out. It's incredible.
Right?
So this is like an electric...
And also it was like, you know, it's an electric car,
you know, it's aluminum, right?
You can't, you know, you can't go knock and bondo a body panel if it's aluminum.
Like the hood was a little bit bent.
Guess what? They had to replace the whole hood, right?
So most people don't have to worry about that.
That's typically like a supercar or a sports car type of thing that use aluminum.
They use aluminum for weight savings, and aluminum can't be re-bent back out.
It'll tear, unlike steel, which most cars use steel
because you could just bend it back.
It might even be cheaper. I'm not sure.
But that makes sense.
But, you know, you pay to play,
especially if you're going to drive an expensive car,
you're going to have aluminum.
It makes sense for weight reduction.
I think that's the bigger part of it, you know,
that cars are more sophisticated now.
Like I heard this thing about a Rivian.
You have a fender bender in the Rivian,
it could cost as much as a hundred grand to fix it
because of the way they design it, you know.
So I think it's like the technology in cars,
the materials they use, it's so high-tech now
that one little fender bender,
what used to be a no-big-deal fender bender now could be a big deal, right?
And this all depends on the car that you have, guys.
Don't let them scare you that all cars are the same.
No, I mean, yeah, a Rivian, but that's $150,000.
You get a cheap, you know, Toyota Cavalry,
more than likely, you're not going to have a bill of that extreme.
You know, every car has, they plan this out.
Every VIN on every car is different and the insurance companies know that.
So it all is dependent on your specific car too.
And they, you know, put all this in,
they pre-plan it all before you get your car or before you get your insurance.
That's, it pre-calculates what that rate will be.
It's all dependent on the car and also the location.
When people say California is expensive,
I knew living by the beach would be expensive.
I knew rent's expensive.
I knew, like, things would be more expensive,
but for some reason, it's the car insurance that really got to me.
I'm a new grad nurse who just moved here from Idaho
and my car insurance before when I lived in Idaho was $355 for six months,
which was like, you know, doable, whatever.
What do you mean doable? That's incredible.
I'm paying close to $2,000 in Florida for two cars.
And just to break that down, I have full coverage.
Both cars are paid off.
Sorry, I have full coverage on the Audi
and I have just, I think, liability and comprehensive on the Mazda.
My rate is $864 for the, what is it?
The Mazda, the 2010 Mazda 3 fully paid off
and $1,052 for the Audi RS3.
Probably a bundle deal considering it's crazy to think that,
you know, the cars are vastly different in price
and there's only about a $190 difference between the six months
and one is obviously much more expensive to fix.
That's actually, I don't know if that at all is worked out like that,
believe it or not.
I think there's more to it here,
the way they're compiling it because there's two cars on the policy.
They might front load just the first vehicle
and the first vehicle is my girlfriend's.
That's probably why because there's no way it'd be more expensive.
It should be a lot cheaper.
It's probably closer.
I had a 2017 Volkswagen Golf R and I just had liability on it
and I was paying like 80 bucks a month, which isn't too bad.
That comes out.
Yeah, I don't even know what that comes out to.
It's a lot cheaper every six months
and I could have prepaid it and I was only paying per month.
So there are ways to save too, paying in full and stuff like that,
but I wish I had $300 a month car insurance, $300 every six months.
I'm sure most of you guys wish you had that.
I called to get it transferred over today.
Same exact everything, same premium, same whatever, same discounts.
And you know what they quoted me for six months?
You know what they quoted me? $1,110 for six months.
This isn't even like a full fucking feature.
So if anyone has like company recommendations to go through
or if you even think that I should change my insurance at all,
like probably not the best idea.
Actually, I don't know.
I don't even know like how this works.
I'm this is my first time adulting.
So let me know.
Well, for starters, cheaper isn't always better
when it comes to insurance companies.
I used to work as an exotic car salesman
and I did the marketing for an exotic car rental company.
I saw vast amount of insurance companies and insurances every single day
and some are very easy to pay out. Typically the big brands,
the smaller ones, the tiny ones, they will fight you tooth and nail.
They're just here for a money grab.
They'll charge you a cheaper rate to get it
and they will make it so difficult to pay you out.
And if they do, they are going to pay you the bare bottom minimum.
Like they're going to undervalue your stuff so much.
That's one. Two, yeah, you're moving to California,
one of the most expensive states in the country.
Obviously, insurance is going to be more.
Not even, I mean, it's just based on the amount of people there.
What are you going to hit in Idaho? A potato or a cow in the road?
I mean, there's not many people there and there's a ton of land.
Everything's spread out versus California.
It's probably very densely populated.
Texas, Florida, California, probably a lot more accidents,
probably a lot more people that don't have insurance.
So it makes sense it's going to be expensive.
I'm actually surprised.
I'm more surprised there are $300 every six months than $1,100 every six months.
I would have thought it would have been more,
but maybe she's just got like a paid-off, you know, beater car.
Probably it's Idaho. I mean, I'm not trying to stereotype people in Idaho.
Don't attack me, but it kind of makes sense in that sense here.
As for leaving your insurance in another state and moving,
you can get away with that for so long until you get in an accident
and then insurance is going to deny your entire claim when they find out.
Don't do it. And then hypothetically speaking,
in fact, let's say I moved from New York to Florida
and I left my insurance in New York.
You can only do that for just as long until you need to get your car re-registered.
And in order to get your car registered in New York,
you need to have it inspected.
And I'm not hypothetically driving my car back down to Florida.
I mean back down to New York, having it inspected,
then bringing it all the way back just to save a couple hundred bucks every six months.
You can only do it for so long.
You can only get away with it for like two years
until you need to get your car a new registration.
Otherwise, you're going to be driving around on an expired registration
and you're going to have a lot more problems than just higher insurance prices.
If you haven't already, make sure to subscribe down below.
This way you don't miss out on any new videos.
And also make sure to drop a comment
and let me know what car insurance do you have?
How much is your monthly rate?
And where are you from?
Biggest scam on this planet.
Like I'm really trying to understand like I need the insurance to cover my car
in case I get into an accident.
But if I get into an accident, then I'm penalized for getting into an accident
because I'm really not supposed to get into an accident even if I have car insurance.
And then if I do use my car insurance because I got into an accident,
they're going to raise my monthly premium
and then it's up to their discretion whether they cover me or not,
but it's not up to my discretion whether I pay them or not
because in order for me to register my car in my state,
I have to have car insurance.
So me being me, I'm thinking like, okay, so if I'm paying you $300 a month,
if anything happens to my car, I shouldn't hear no tongue no mouth.
They have tongue and mouth every time you fucking something happens to your car
and it's not making sense to me like that's not adding up.
The fact that car insurance is so expensive anyways,
like what do you mean you're charging me $400 a month for a what if?
I'm going to stop it right there though.
If you have a $400 a month car insurance bill every month,
there's a lot more wrong here than just car insurance.
Either you have a horrible driving record with tons of accidents
or you have a car payment and you're leasing or financing a car that you can't afford
and now you're complaining about that.
I mean it one goes with with the other and you know,
it's too bad on our part and too bad for you guys at the end of the day.
It's not your car.
So that you know, I understand it's expensive
and the only people I think that can be justified with having,
you know, expensive car insurance is for people that have paid off cars.
I'm just saying because you'd feel the same way
if you leased your car to somebody or let somebody else drive your car
and they didn't have insurance you'd be pissed,
you know, especially if they crashed it and can't afford to fix it.
You'd be pissed.
You got to think here.
It's not your car.
You don't own it.
I don't care if you're six years into a seven-year finance.
The bank owns your car.
You stop making payments on it.
It'll get repossessed.
So yeah, so obviously the banks want their car insured at the best rate possible
to make sure that if anything happens to it,
it'll get fixed properly and not half-assed.
So I mean she can get mad all she wants but for a hypothetical.
You must be out your goddamn.
I don't get it.
Health insurance is a whole nother thing,
but the car insurance shit I don't get.
I don't get it and to require people to have it.
Require.
I'm getting upset.
I'm getting upset because I have to renew my insurance
and my insurance is like almost $400.
When I first got my car.
It's $400 a month is an insane payment.
I think for my car,
which is fully paid off is like 200 bucks
and I live in a horrible high-priced insurance state.
You know what I'm saying?
So for her to be paying double that on a car,
that's probably nowhere near the price of mine,
but it is possible because all these new cars are worth like 50 60 80 grand,
which is insane insurance and my insurance is like 200 something now.
It's almost $400.
Like I'm getting hot.
I'm getting hot.
Like I'm about to I'm about to give me a electric scooter know
in this country.
They gonna start making people register them to orange.
You do if you drive it in the street,
you do if you drive it in the street,
anything in the street has to be road legal
and you have to follow that those rules got to get a plate lights follow by any who.
Yeah, I understand her frustration and see why she's mad.
It makes sense.
I don't think she can be mad.
If hopefully she watches this video
and I haven't the answer for her question,
but it's not your car at the end of the day.
If she owns her car outright,
then she has a right to be mad.
Like I'm mad pissed at my insurance for being,
you know, very expensive,
you know, we're talking almost four grand a year,
which is insanity here for two cars that are paid off
and barely driven.
We both work from home my girlfriend and I so gets three to four thousand miles
and the garage kept to so why they're this expensive is ridiculous.
Granted the drivers here are horrendous,
but if it's if you don't own the car,
obviously you're going to have to have insurance on it
because what are you going to do?
You can't even afford to buy the car outright.
Let alone would you even be able to afford to fix it?
If you are, you know financing $60,000 car,
which people do and they only make $40,000 a year,
which is total stupidity.
It is literally the easiest way to ruin any chance.
You have that financial success is getting a car payment.
You know, if your net if you make 40 grand a year
and your net worth is like 40 K you have no business buying a or financing a $60,000 car.
It's total stupidity.
Literally the numbers the math doesn't matter.
You should be buying a 10 to $20,000 car get your income up get your net worth up.
Then we could talk about getting a more expensive car here.
Like the leveraging amount doesn't make sense,
but she has a right to be pissed if she owns a car outright.
The only difference is if you do own your car outright you have more flexibility.
You don't have to worry about a car payment every month
and you can always adjust your car insurance.
You can always change it.
You can always reduce the rates.
You don't have to have full coverage,
you know, you can lower the liability like there's so many options
and also you might not give a crap if it gets hit,
you know or something, you know hits it in the road.
If it's a beater car like if my girlfriend's car gets smacked
and it's going to cost $1,500 to fix from a place through the insurance either.
We're going to leave it alone or I'm going to fix myself a junkyard parts
and it's going to cost 50 bucks versus my car.
It's a bit different.
So if you want to get on the track to financial freedom
and financial success car payments and car insurance prices,
it's total insanity and the one goes with the other
if you're going to have a car payment,
you're going to have to have high car insurance.
You're going to have to pay most likely for gap insurance high coverage highlight,
you know, a higher liability higher comprehensive higher collision.
It makes sense.
Also, you don't plan to have an accident,
you know, if somebody hits you and they don't have insurance.
Oh, it's a horrible headache.
And a lot of people don't they'll skate by even though it's illegal.
So it makes sense.
There were so many points to talk about.
I don't even remember that you said here,
but you know, the only way to lower your car insurance is just drive a beater.
It's that simple.
That's paid off this scam to date and not enough people talk about it.
You're getting scammed.
I'm getting scammed.
We're all getting scammed because let me explain this quick story to y'all
and y'all tell me what you think we pay all this money for car insurance
every single month hundreds of dollars have perfect history,
whatever stuff happens to the car where it leaves a little bit of dings.
I live in Texas on the highway.
There's rocks flying all the time.
So it's really not that taboo.
You call the insurance you file a claim the claim counts against you.
So, you know what that means insurance payment goes up.
Wow.
So you file the claim they send it to their adjuster
and they send you a check for $500 to cover the damage.
That's thousands of dollars of damage and they only send you check 500 bucks.
So I call I try to figure out what's going on.
They say because their adjuster claims that there's no way that all this happened from one incident.
Were you in the car?
How the fuck do you know State Farm?
I'm talking to you.
So now they tell me that I have to file another claim and it's going to be another deductible.
So if I'm going to pay a thousand dollars,
I might as well just go get the car fixed myself and then you take it to a place to get a quote
and the quote is way cheaper than what State Farm was even quoting
and what is the point of paying all this money every single month
if we still have to pay out-of-pocket to get the car fixed?
Can someone please explain to me the scammery witchcraft behind these car insurance companies
because it's the math is not mapping and it's not making sense.
You're just better off not having car insurance.
Well, let's not do that.
But I do understand her frustration.
Yeah, the insurance is like judge jury and executioner.
They will call the price and if you go through them for everything,
they're obviously going to weigh it in their favor.
That's why it's good to have, you know, go through another person for insurance,
you know, a private insurance quoter blah blah blah blah blah blah,
but I get it too. Although it is different.
If you're driving and you hit something in the road, it falls under collision,
which will I believe raise your insurance policy deductible
because that's you hitting it.
They're going to say you could have drove out of the way.
You could have avoided it versus comprehensive is a bit different.
That's like vandalism fire theft a tree falls through it,
you know stuff that you know is nobody plans for
and that shouldn't raise your policy
because it's it didn't you didn't you're not the what driver of it.
You know what I'm saying?
I had we had a tree fall through my girlfriend's car literally straight through
like a 15-foot tree insanity a branch fell through they paid us
out like $800 for like I guess $800 worth of stuff,
but I fixed it myself for like a hundred fifty bucks
and they didn't raise the policy on comprehensive.
So there's definitely a lot of things going on here.
And yeah, sometimes it's not even worth going through insurance.
You're better off trying to fix it yourself or leaving it alone.
How is this illegal?
How can Geico my Geico payment went from 163 something to almost $2,300?
Auto insurance is crazy as hell right now sometime last year.
I was paying like 336 for two cars.
And then when it was time for me to renew my policy it went from like 336 to like
450 something something crazy.
So I called him immediately.
I'm like yo, you got to explain this to me.
I don't got no accidents. No tickets nothing.
I'm a good driver got good driving record.
Why is my insurance going up every single time we have to renew the policy?
So when I asked about that all she said was, you know, you live in the state of Florida.
There's so many people moving to the state of Florida.
The insurance policies, you know, the price of insurance is just going up across the board for everybody.
I didn't want to hear that shit.
So I was like yo transfer me to somebody else because I need to know,
you know, whatever I can do to get this thing down whatever discounts that are available for me.
I need them right now. And that's what we did.
I was on the phone for about 45 minutes.
Somebody went through all the discounts that I was eligible for and we got that bill down.
The first thing they did was put me on auto pay.
If you're not already on auto pay, that's crazy.
I don't know why he's not already paying that the next thing they did.
They asked me if I was married because apparently married people have lower insurance rates.
I don't know why they know they think you're less reckless.
If you have you know other things going on that makes sense to also if you are married your and you know,
you would have your spouse gets the same insurance granted to them
without them being considered like an additional policyholder insurance
for me that bill that was $1,900 for six months was closer to like $1,400.
If I was married to my girlfriend, it would just be extended to her
but adding her to the policy as another driver gives her all those benefits that I would have
and it increased the policy so that's one way to save money marriage,
but that's a whole other thing will ask me if I was willing to let them run my credit
because apparently people with good credit get lower in insurance rates,
you know, I mean why that matters.
I have no idea to make sense.
But um, the main thing that saved me was both my cars are paid off.
So I was just like for my car, you know, I just use it go back and forth to work.
Just put liability insurance on it and keep full coverage on my wife's car.
And that's what really saved me all the rest of the also keep in mind.
You have to have full coverage if you lease or finance a car.
It's not an option. It's really didn't do shit,
but it's ridiculous.
You know, I was paying 336.
They were about to bump like you don't pay your bill.
They'll repossess your car for car insurance because they don't want you driving around
with just liability all the way up to 550 something or something crazy like that.
Now I'm paying 263.
So it's crazy,
but it's nothing we can really do about the shit,
but right now I just want to go get insurance for my car and man that shit is fucking expensive.
That's just insane.
Like for first month, which I had to pay for which is insane.
That's like more than what I make which like that's just insane living like that
and each one had to pay like $400.
I think I still have it down something like this.
Like that's just insane $400 a month at age 18 years old.
That's basically more than what I make and just having to worry about rent
and just paying the car insurance and food and everything like that.
Like like living like that basically living paycheck to paycheck.
Like what the fuck like is that living?
Yeah, that really stood out to me since I know a lot of people can relate to my situation
and man fucking bills are just insane.
I know you guys can agree on me with this.
Yeah, that's tough being 18 trying to get your own car insurance.
That's why you know it if you could stay on your parents policy the longest you can
that's the best way to get cheaper insurance
or don't have a car payment like do not have a car payment.
See I don't his car looks very old.
So I would think hopefully it's paid off
but you can buy a used car that looks like that still make car payments.
And if you do you're going to have to have full coverage
and that's where you get screwed.
So, you know, there are ways to save money call the insurance company low,
you know pay it in full auto pay it.
Those are two different ways to lower that bill.
Don't have a bunch of accidents on it pay your car off.
Don't have a car payment like the list goes on
and on and on don't get a two-seater don't get a two-door car if you're under like 26.
So lots of these problems.
I mean, let me know like I said down in the comments
if you've had any experience with this.
What are you paying?
What cars do you have?
