These are the most popular rollerblades on Amazon, but are they any good? These are the Rollerblade Zetrablades. They retail for around $100 US. They come with 80mm wheels and SG5 bearings, making them perfect for beginners. They feature an integrated liner with a 45 degree strap for a better fit and support. I'm always looking for skates to recommend to people who are interested in getting into And at less than $100, this is a great deal. Let's see if it's worth it. I skated them completely stock, so everything you see is what you get in the box. So after a few strides, I could tell that these were going to be really solid, fast skates. The 4x80 is a really great setup for most people, and the bearings felt really fast and smooth. These wheels are 82A, which is fairly soft. It means that they're going to wear a little bit faster, but they'll probably provide a much more comfortable ride. A little bit more cushion, a little bit more grip. The bearings felt absolutely smooth. No issues. Felt like I was picking up speed on this downhill. And of course, they do come with a brake, which does a pretty good job of slowing you down. The brake is removable, and I recommend removing the brakes once you get the hang of it. It's really easy to do. Just use a hex key to remove the axle, pull off the brake, and then put the wheel back on. I highly recommend skating without the brake. I think the brake gets in the way, and you can trip over it pretty easily. All right, now that the brake is gone, I can really open them up. Quicker crossovers without the worry of tripping over that brake and the heel. Get some really good speed, and they feel really nice and responsive. The wheelbase is nice and long, which made backwards crossovers feel really stable. And that 45 degree strap made these skates feel like they were part of my foot. Could really lean in on it. The wheels held up great, though being soft, they might wear down a little faster than expected. The Rollerblade Zetra Blade are a great skate for the money. They feel great on my feet, the bearings feel fast, and the wheels are solid. They are a little large. My feet are 28.5 centimeters, and this is a size 10, which is 28 centimeters, and there's plenty of room inside. So I'd recommend downsizing if you have a chance. Overall, I recommend the Rollerblade Zetra Blade for anybody wanting to get into inline skating. It's a great pair of skates for the price.
