Hello everyone, welcome back to my channel or welcome if you're new here.
My name is Jenny and in today's video I'm going to be sharing how I got my living room
as well as a small entryway table decorated for fall.
I am really excited to be sharing with you all my fall 2024 collection.
If you haven't already, please make sure you check out my fall haul video where I shared
my color scheme and where I got the items that you'll be seeing in today's video.
Now I will also let you guys know that we were doing some deep cleaning during the same
time I was filming so you will see me in multiple outfits.
I just was not able to do it all in one day.
But yeah, anyways, before we can get to the decorating part, of course I'm just clearing
everything out, getting everything swept up and cleaned and ready for decorating.
So now that everything has been cleaned up, now we're going to get to the decorating part.
And I did want to share a really neat hack so to speak.
This is something that costs you absolutely zero dollars and that is shopping your own
home.
I had this lamp already in our bonus room upstairs and so all I did was switch out those
lamps, which really gives a whole new aesthetic in my room and I just loved it, especially
that it's going in with that more moodier, romantic, classic vibes that I had talked
about going for this year.
So yeah, definitely love that idea and recommend doing that.
It gives a new feel to the space and all you had to do was just shift around some furniture.
So as I'm decorating my space, I always try to first establish the items that I know I
want to use, so you'll see me putting the for sure items and then I will gradually build
upon that and put in those additional fall touches.
So make sure you stay through to the end because a lot of what you see here is not what will
remain.
I do end up shifting some things around and adding some items that I forgot.
I forgot to put my Hobby Lobby pheasants because I was actually in the process of DIYing them
as I was filming this, so I wasn't able to do it until the very end.
So just make sure you stay through to that to see how it all turned out.
And I also did make a quick YouTube short for how I redid those pheasants, so if you're
interested in seeing how I did that, make sure you check that out as well.
So now it's time to finally work on the fireplace.
This was definitely the space that I had been dying to decorate for quite some time, so
I was really excited to get this done.
Now I will do a bit of a quick fast forward on the garland because it did take me about
30-40 minutes to do and I wanted to share as much of the process as I could, but let
me know in the comments below if you would like me to go slower or if you do like it
fast forward.
I mean, it is something that I feel like is more organic.
You kind of just have to go with what works in your space, and so there's not a real correct
or incorrect way of doing this.
You just want to do what works for you.
So I thought I'd share this really quick DIY that you could do.
If you have some old floral stems that maybe don't fit in with your current color scheme,
you could just give them a really quick spray paint.
And that's what I'm doing with these eucalyptus stems.
I am using Rust-Oleum's True Navy in Ultra Matte.
It was really easy, fast, and I think it really brought in that darker element color that
I really needed for the space.
Now that the mantle is all set and ready to go, I'm now going to be putting in my final
touches.
I'm going to be starting here at the fireplace with my little pumpkins that I think are really
nice for the space and go so nicely with that color scheme that I'm going with.
I absolutely just love these pumpkins.
I purchased the wood one from Big Lots, and then the pink one, I believe it was TJ Maxx
that I got that one, but you can also check out my haul video if you want to see how much
I paid for them as well.
And then I have this one glass pumpkin here.
This one is from Bed Bath & Beyond.
It was a clearance find from about five years ago.
I got it for like $4.
And I love the little fairy lights.
It adds a really nice cozy touch.
Here's the final walkthrough of my space.
I really love how everything turned out, and I hope you did as well.
If you did, I hope you would give this video a big thumbs up and consider subscribing to
my channel.
It would really mean a lot to me.
Thank you so much for watching.
Bye!
