Arsenal and Tottenham are showing interest in Stuttgart midfielder Enzo Millier.
A decent French midfielder from what I remember, took a while to get going but very good technical level, very good in tight spaces.
A typical midfielder a Premier League club would look at in my opinion.
With the Premier League clubs continuing to monitor his performances this season ahead of a potential transfer in 2025,
he's impressed in Germany this season with the French talent featuring 24 times in all comps for the Bundesliga club, scoring 8 goals and assisting a further 5.
The 22-year-old has been with Stuttgart since 2021 and has accumulated 18 goals and 19 assists across 94 appearances since moving from Monaco.
And if I remember correctly, he's a French youth international.
Allegedly, this is a big attraction for many clubs and sources have told Courtside that Arsenal and Tottenham are monitoring his situation.
Scouts from the clubs have been following the 22-year-old throughout the current campaign and are believed to be very impressed by the French star's vision, ball control and offensive abilities.
The North London clubs could face competition from Ligue 8 as it's believed Chelsea, Manchester City and Liverpool are keeping an eye on his development in Germany.
It's uncertain if Stuttgart will be open to selling the midfielder in 2025 but if they are, the young talent is not short of suitors.
He's an Arsenal midfielder and at 22 years of age his stocks are only going to go up.
I think he's got that positive chip on his shoulder, that mentality that you think all top players have, like he doesn't get overruled.
What is all of this about?
PSG are open to parting ways with Asensio, as you all would have seen.
It's said Arsenal have been linked to him in people.
He's been linked with Batiste, Sociedad and Arsenal.
Obviously, he's not getting game time at PSG.
I guess logically it makes sense.
We need greater attackers.
He's obviously a Champions League winner.
He's scored crucial goals.
He can play in a lot of roles and things like that.
I don't know what we're going to do with Raheem Sterling's loan or better yet Neto because there's rumours we'll cancel that.
There could be a spot for a loan.
I always get confused but I think we can't make another loan signing from the Premier League unless something changes with our existing agreements.
But we can from a foreign club.
It's easy to link us with these players.
As we know, January is a reactive window in itself.
Players are not happy with the lack of football.
There's contractual situations.
They're not in the manager's plans.
It's easy to link with Arsenal.
I'm not sure if Arsenal will go for the loan fee, whatever that is, or it would have to be a deal that makes sense.
A bit like Raheem Sterling where there's a loan fee and his current employers, in that case Chelsea, are paying a significant amount of his wages.
So I'm not too sure where we're at with that.
But nonetheless, people, we've been linked with Asensio and Enzo Millier of Stuttgart.
Now, I am not criticising the ITKs of this world, but team news and tics via his Patreon page.
Good hustle.
One unnamed player is very close to agreeing terms with Arsenal, but difficulty with a move comes with getting him out of the current club.
Now, that's just teasing the fans and ultimately inviting pressure on yourself if this doesn't work out.
Now, when you hear that, of course, you're getting excited.
But who is this unknown player?
They might not be good enough.
It could be Marquinhos or Runnison.
There's probably in the footballing world several players that agree terms with a potential new employer,
but their new employer cannot convince his current employer to let him go.
And to be honest with you, obviously we're in 2025 now.
When the summer window rolls around, a lot of football clubs, including us, are going to announce new signings.
The vast majority of these summer deals are done at this moment in time or the end of the previous year.
So don't take too much stock into that, people.
We have been linked with Evan Ferguson of Brighton.
Again, we'd either need to change or alter the agreements we have with either Neto or Raheem Sterling.
In terms of getting a body in, it makes sense.
He still is a young footballer, even though he's struggling for game time at Brighton.
Clearly, he's behind the Mentes, the Adriengas, the Mitomas, the Jalpedros, the Danny Welbecks and players of that ilk for regular football.
I do agree, though, with Bakaio Saka's injury.
Obviously, we've got Kai Havertz, Trossart, Martinelli, Jesus.
Some are stronger in other positions but can all play everywhere.
Another offensive body, I wouldn't be against it because the last two games we've barely had any attackers, really.
And by God's grace, the game hasn't gone left.
And he still is a young striker.
If you're Brighton, logically, if you're Arsenal, you might want an option or an obligation to buy because you might believe in his long-term kind of talent.
He was, just a few years ago, linked with Arsenal and Man Utd.
It might be a dry loan, seen as a body.
For Brighton, does that make sense without a longer-term financial commitment?
For Ferguson, does it make sense where you're potentially going to be second fiddle to Kai Havertz up front?
Or at the moment, Gabriel Jesus, really?
So, you'd be on the bench, you'd probably get minutes.
But, you know, he probably needs to go somewhere that you're going to get some starts.
And it's not clear.
Like, he's been linked to Viv Switch.
It's not clear you're going to play ahead of Liam De Laat, unless they play two forwards.
You've been linked with Fulham.
Are you necessarily going to play ahead of Munoz or Jimenez?
Arsenal's the same.
Was previously linked with Chelsea.
Are you necessarily going to play ahead of Jackson?
Was he even linked with Spurs?
Are you necessarily going to play ahead of Solanke?
So, for him, he's been linked with West Ham as well.
Obviously, with Antonio's injury, that could be an option for him.
He needs to go somewhere you're going to start on a regular basis and reignite your career.
I wouldn't be against Ferguson.
But I do believe in January, the main target has to be someone who can deputise in the void that Kyle Sack has left with his injury.
We all know we wanted to bring in Sesco in the summer.
That never happened, people.
Apparently, we had earmarked him for a potential move in 2024, where Ferguson's concerned.
Allegedly, our interest in the striker dates back to his initial emergence.
And apparently, this article says this publication announced such in 2023.
So, we've been looking at him for a while.
Ben Jacobs did say we're interested.
We were and have been linked with Marcus Rashford.
I don't think that's happening on a permanent basis, people.
Arsenal ready to trigger Nico Williams' release clause in blockbuster January deal.
We can be willing and ready to activate his release clause.
Does the man want to go?
In the similar vein that saw us not get Sesco.
Nonetheless, Arsenal are continuing their pursuit of athletic club star Nico Williams
as they look to bolster their squad in the January transfer window.
Sources indicate that the Gunners are in ongoing discussions with the player's agent
and are prepared to act swiftly to secure the signature of the Spain star,
who has a release clause of 58 million euros in his contract with Bilbao side.
Arsenal are waiting for Williams to give the green light to a move before proceeding,
something they were unable to secure when they followed him last summer.
Now, anything can happen and we could present it with a project.
But after making a big song and dance about wanting to stay at Bilbao and play in Europe
and, you know, have a season to remember, does he want to run away mid-season?
I'm not sure.
So, yes, we could activate his release clause.
Yes, I'm sure myself and a lot of you listening smash the like button
and maybe Arsenal Football Club want to bring him in.
But it comes down to that.
And if some buts are scary, but in the event that if the 22-year-old gives the thumbs up to the deal,
then we can trigger the release clause, people.
Which, of course, is more economically sensible than Raphael Leal,
who we've apparently been linked with.
I'm all for that as well, people.
So I'm not too sure to take stock in that.
But it's easy to link us with wingers.
It's easy to entice fans with inside forwards of Nico Williams.
That's right. 22 years of age, great technical level.
We all saw the URLs.
Clearly could score goals when everybody's fit and ready to have Bakayo Saka,
Nico Williams and, you know, another striker.
Probably moving into next season would be amazing.
And to also have potentially Gabriel Jesus, Trossart, Martinelli, what have you.
Good defensive, good offensive apology options.
And we can't forget the young Ethan, who's doing quite well.
Hope he starts against Brighton.
Allegedly, Lloris is ready to leave sporting in a January transfer window with numerous clubs,
including Arsenal, Man Utd and Chelsea, all interested in the forward.
He's got 27 goals in as many matches in the first half of the season in Europe
and also six assists.
We all know he was linked with Arsenal and Chelsea aggressively.
His former manager, Ruben Amorim, has obviously gone over there to Man Utd.
And Poizlin is struggling to lead the line on his own.
Joshua Zurski is down on his luck.
They could do with an experienced man.
I think United would get him.
Chelsea need a forward like us.
So it's easy to keep linking them with forwards.
I do think there's an element of interest in Arsenal, from Arsenal.
I do think we've scouted him.
I don't think we're as hot on your careers as media leads us to believe.
And also, I'm not saying we can't do it.
In an ideal world, if Kyle Saka wasn't injured and we had certain things,
then maybe a priority could have been a forward.
Similar to the January period we signed Blachowicz.
But if we're going to spend significantly,
surely it is on a versatile inside forward that can, you know,
play with Saka when he's fit and ease the burden on the struggles,
typically this season and for the last few years.
In some cases on Martinelli, on Gabriel Jesus, on Trossart,
and someone that could obviously deputise for Kyle Saka.
Surely that is the priority.
For me, to get to the next level, I hope next summer,
or by the end of that summer campaign, we have that striker.
We have that inside forward.
We have that number eight midfielder.
I actually think we could do with another defender.
And we clearly need to sort out what we're doing in terms of goalies.
Apparently, Jokerez has previously indicated he was prepared to stay with
sporting until the end of the season.
Yet his stance appears to have shifted in recent times.
According to El Nacial, not sure on the credibility of them,
he's now prepared to push for an immediate transfer.
He does have a release clause.
According to this, Jokerez doesn't want to wait for a move any longer.
According to several sources close to the operation,
Jokerez has opted to take this step and speed up his departure from sporting.
Apparently, sporting has struggled since Amirin left,
and they actually sacked the manager that took over for him.
United apparently are prepared to accelerate the deal.
Arsenal, PSG, Manchester United, Chelsea, and actually Liverpool in recent days,
and many other clubs linked with Jokerez.
So let me know your thoughts. Would you do that?
Should the priority still be a striker versus an inside forward or right winger,
regardless of Bukal Saka?
Now, Di Zerbi of Marseille.
What a game. This was a serious sign-off from Kivio.
Di Zerbi of Marseille have been linked with several Premier League players, people.
And this article has linked Marseille with a move for Kivio.
Kivio is always someone in the transfer windows that's going to be linked with moves away.
I don't think it makes sense because obviously, you know,
as much as we've got great defensive options,
how many defenders have we had available?
You know, Thierry is not really part of the plans.
Credit to Lewis Kelly for making that left-back row his own.
Califuri's had issues.
Timber's now suspended and, you know,
he's doing well since he came back from an ACL,
but he's missed out on a couple of weeks.
We've missed Gabriel for a sec.
Benjamin White's still recovering from his injury.
Tomiyasu's a no-show.
For me, it doesn't make sense to sell Kivio in the summer.
Admittedly, in the summer, I'd be more open to offers.
But Kivio, I'm not sure. Does he want to stay at Arsenal?
Does he believe he's still part of it?
Or does he want to go somewhere where he's more likely to play on a regular basis?
I don't know.
Now, we know Tierney's days are numbered.
Previously, a few weeks ago, David Ornstein came out and said,
Arsenal are letting him leave on a free transfer.
We're not triggering the option to extend his contract by a further year.
Now, I'm sure in terms of keeping a body, I wouldn't be against Tierney.
But if Arsenal want to get some sort of fee,
which is, you know, not going to be anything of significance,
then maybe in January, that's a good thing.
Now, if we sold him back to Celtic, I'm sure Celtic have a sell-on clause.
So if we buy it from Celtic and Celtic got a sell-on clause,
do they still get, you know, they're selling it to us,
but do they still get some of the money back?
I'm not sure.
Nonetheless, Romano has said,
negotiations underway for Tierney to return to Celtic from Arsenal.
Discussions are taking place.
27-year-old fullback keen on the move.
Talks continue to reach full agreement.
I mean, the sun has returned home.
Now, Dani Almo's stuff at Barcelona has been a madness.
And, you know, there was rumours he could leave on a free transfer
owing to Barcelona making a mess of registration,
linked with everybody, including us in the Premier League.
His agent came out and said,
I believe that Barcelona will finalise everything and make it happen.
La Liga should help them.
Instead of these reports of Dani not available for the national team.
But I'm sure we'll be at Barca for many years,
happy at the club and with Dani's desire to be there.
So that means they're going to do everything to want to stay.
Obviously, there's some reports owing to not being registered for Barcelona.
He cannot play for the Spain national team.
And I think that's a disgrace really and truly.
Absolute disgrace for someone that came for your academy,
someone that made a big song and dance about returning home.
Someone that's just signed for your club.
I mean, Barcelona have made a mess.
There's several examples of Barcelona being a mess on and off the field at times.
And this is actually disgraceful.
And they're actually lucky that he's got an emotional attachment to Barcelona
because this is stuff I don't know.
But imagine he was someone that didn't come through La Masia
and all of that stuff.
And he said, you know what?
You lot have done me disgusting.
I'm leaving on a free transfer.
You would have lost money.
They must have spent 40-odd, maybe 50, 60-odd in the summer.
It would have been a massive L.
I'm not too sure on the credibility of Mr. Marco Mola.
But apparently, Arsenal is considering signing Real Sociedad attacker
Kubo this winter.
The Japanese international is already aware of Arsenal's interest
and is open to joining the PL side in the future.
I mean, physically, looking at him, he might struggle.
But it makes sense.
It's quite a romantic one.
Obviously, Arsene Wenger has an attachment to Japan.
We like young players.
We're getting a bit of a reunion over here at Sociedad,
you know, with Odegaard and Mikel Mourinho.
And obviously, you know, we're linked with their sporting director, Izak.
If you're listening, can't imagine you're not.
You know you want to come to London and link up people.
I'd have Kubo.
I think he's got a release clause of 40, 50-odd million pounds,
so it doesn't break the bank per se.
I don't know on the credibility of this.
And as I keep saying, it's very easy to link Arsenal with players, people.
Speaking of Arsenal being linked with players,
Antonio Nusa, who now plays for Leipzig, was visiting the Emirates Stadium.
Now, he could have just been in London, wanted to see the game.
Arsenal's one of the biggest attractions in the capital
and one of the biggest clubs, so he could be there.
Obviously, he's got his boy, Odegaard, who's a Norway international.
Could have sorted him out with some tickets.
We do remember Califuri showed us that he was at the Emirates
a year before signing.
I would say it's very different.
But Timber at the FA Cup final when it was Man United City,
I thought he would have signed for United.
Thank the Lord.
You know, he was obviously in town to sign for Arsenal.
So you could take some stock in this.
You could not, people.
I'm not too sure where you're at.
And it feels like a full circle moment, if I'm brutally honest with you.
Apparently, Arsenal, Fulham and Nottingham Forest are keen to sign the same player.
Club director encourages PL move.
Arsenal, Fulham and Forest are chasing Fire Nord star Santiago Jimenez,
according to reports from Mexico, his homeland.
Nottingham Forest made an offer last summer.
The player rejected it.
Apparently, they're still in the picture and they're joined by Arsenal and Fulham.
Now, Arsenal are looking for forward.
So naturally, we're watching everybody.
I don't believe we're that keen on the 23-year-old,
who's also linked with AC Milan people.
It's easy, as I said, to link Arsenal with players, man.
So far, we've seen several names.
Yesterday, check out those vids, several names.
You know, in the next 24 to 48 hours, we're going to get linked with names, people.
This is probably the best time for journalists because all football fans want hope.
There's no way of fact-checking any of this.
We all know 98% of these things are BS.
But we do, in my opinion, need to pull our finger out,
regardless of having an interim sporting director or no sporting director,
and make things happen.
