Welcome back to my channel or welcome. If you're new here,
my name is Jenny and in today's video I'm going to be sharing with you guys how
I got my dining room clean and decorated for fall this year.
Now the thing that I love most about fall is the changing colors of the leaves.
And so I really wanted to incorporate some of those yellows and nice burnt
orange colors. I do hope you enjoy today's video. And if you do,
please remember to give it a big thumbs up.
And I also wanted to take a moment to share with you all that my channel has
reached 50 subscribers.
And even though I know in the scheme of YouTube,
50 subscribers is not really a lot,
but it does really mean a lot to me.
And so I just wanted to take a moment to say thank you to all of my subscribers.
Thank you for believing in me.
It really helps to motivate me to keep doing what I'm doing because I do love
bringing content for you all to enjoy here on YouTube.
And if you are watching this and you have yet to subscribe to my channel,
I hope you would consider doing so because I would absolutely love to have you
be a part of the home life family.
And so hopefully you've gotten yourself your favorite drink because I know I
have, and let's get to work.
All right guys. So I did share with you guys what I love most about fall.
And now I'd love to hear from you all.
So let me know in the comments below what is something that you love about fall
as well. I know right now,
another thing that I love about fall season is all of the
pumpkin everything. Um,
I love trying all kinds of pumpkin flavored treats,
especially the ones that come out from Aldi.
I know I've tried their pumpkin cream cheese,
pumpkin cookies, and yeah,
I think there's so many pumpkin things that you can get at this time.
So I would just love to hear from you all.
Okay. So now that all the cleaning is done,
I thought I would quickly share some of the items I'm going to be using today.
Now, most of these I did share in my other fall haul video.
So be sure to check, um,
those items out if you're not sure or would like to know where I purchased
anything. Now, this is a tray.
I've used this multiple times in my kitchen mainly got this on Amazon.
These are some turkeys here. This one is from Hobby Lobby and this one,
Michael's some floral that I picked up from bed, bath and beyond.
And then these are from Joanne fabric.
I would really recommend checking them out right now.
All their fall is 70% off.
Plus you can usually get a pickup percentage off,
which is about 20, 25% off pickup.
So that makes it even a better price.
These are just some pumpkins and pine cones that I picked up from Timu.
These are some cups. I've had these for a while. Got these from the dollar tree.
I do believe they still carry this.
So this is something you can still find if you think that this would fit in your
dining where a set, um,
just some old, um, napkin, cloth napkins.
I purchased these at Goodwill a few years ago. And so, yeah,
I also recommend checking out Goodwill for things like this.
You can find practically new, uh, napkins for,
I think I only paid,
it was like a dollar or two for a stack of 12 napkins.
So a really good deal on that.
I'm also going to be using some florals that I just spray painted
with some Navy spray paint to go in with my color scheme.
And then some of the new items that I'm going to be using is this plate
set. I purchased these now. I got them off of Timu,
but the brand is Famiware and I believe the color is
cappuccino white.
I absolutely love the design on the rim of the plates and the bowls,
which is why I got it.
And I also love how they kind of stack on top of each other and have this
nice little lip to keep them from falling over.
So really nice feature on that. Um,
and then just some silverware here.
I got this from my local dollar general.
They usually do really great promos, like buy one,
get one free on their houseware items.
So I got a place setting for eight for only $20,
which is a great, great price on that. And then these chargers,
I've had these for a while as well. I got these for, um,
on bulk from, I want to say CV linen. Um, yeah,
I purchased about 30 or 40 of these in different colors cause I just really
love the design and pretty much use these all year whenever I'm decorating our
formal dining room. And so, yeah, this is pretty much it. And anyway,
so now let's go ahead and get to decorating.
So now that all of my place settings are down on the table,
I'm going to go ahead and work on my center piece.
Now the way I like to work on a center piece is first I'll put in a board.
In this case, it's my little beaded tray.
And the reason I like to do this is because I'm going to be creating a faux
garland with these stems that I purchased from Joanne's and this gives me an
opportunity one to go ahead and conceal those stems,
but two to allow me to make it a little bit longer without having to purchase
more stems, which is another cost savings tip on this.
And then this way on top of the tray I will be creating my center piece.
Now I'm just going to focus on right now the faux garland, so to speak.
So I'm going to add in my hydrangeas and also the other stems that I purchased
from Joanne's.
Now that the base of our center piece is complete,
I'm going to go ahead and add those turkeys as well as a few more florals.
Then I will finish this off with some filler items and share the final results.
All right, everyone.
So here is a final look of how everything turned out and I think it all looks
great. If you do enjoy today's video, please remember to give it a big thumbs up.
And if you haven't already, please consider subscribing to my channel.
Thank you so much for watching. Bye.
