I discovered a life-threatening condition that almost killed me.
A few years ago, I was getting a routine full-body MRI scan
and it discovered that I have a condition called internal
jugular vein stenosis. We have veins on the side of our neck
and one carries blood to the brain and one carries blood
out of the brain. My internal jugular vein is genetically
narrow, which means that my brain was not able to
I had these symptoms and I didn't know what was going on.
Now, this was not discovered with blood work. It was not discovered from a
physical exam. In fact, I had lived 43 years of life and
no one ever told me that I had this problem.
And it was only during this routine MRI that it was identified.
So MRI has a special place in my heart because it shows you things you can't
identify with your eyes and it shows you things that
routine doctor checkups will not pick up and the same with blood work.
Now, when you have a life-threatening condition such as
cancer or a tumor, finding these things early
can save your life. In fact, roughly speaking,
if you find cancer early, you may have an 80 percent chance
of success to address it versus finding it late.
And so routine MRIs are really important to find early things.
I also found throughout Blueprint that MRIs are wonderful
because it allows you to diagnose things with great precision,
much more, for example, than blood work. So today I'm going to tell you that I
built the world's best MRI protocol. It is now available to
you. Now, the context on where this came from
is over the past few years, we have been asking the question,
are we the first generation to not die? That's a cool question. I think the
coolest question in the entire world. Now, to do that, you have to
first measure the entire body and say, what is the biological age of every
organ of the body? Only with that baseline data can you
get to work and say, now how do we slow down aging and also
reverse it? We started using MRI as a robust measurement tool
and the problem we had is we'd say, okay, we want to measure the age of the
heart, for example. So we'd go to the scientific literature,
we would find the protocol of the MRI, write it down, and then go to an MRI
facility and say, hey, could you please do this protocol to image my heart? And
they would say, sorry, we can't do that. We're busy. Also,
we haven't programmed that into our systems. We got denial after denial.
We finally found a few places to work with us, but then we always had
these mistakes. Well, the short of it is I spent a few
years and a few hundred thousand dollars and I
also spent over 100 hours in an MRI
trying to perfect this protocol. It is now
yours for a fraction of that price. Typically, you'll get an MRI requisition
and you'll get one part of your body. This is looking
at your entire body to do a baseline of where you're at in
life, also to find things that are potentially
wrong. I think this is one of the coolest things we have ever done with Blueprint
that we formalized a protocol, we're bringing it to the world at a fraction
of the price, and it's something that's never existed before.
So that makes me very happy. Now, one of the more exciting things
is getting your results. Now, I know a lot of you may have trepidation. I
understand that, that seeing results are scary because you're not quite sure if
they're good or bad. I think all results are good even if
they're bad because they help you understand where
your starting point is and it's better to know than not know.
Now, you of course can address the anxiety by
doing many things, but one is taking action. So let me tell you a few things
that I learned from my report. So I do not have any detectable cancer.
Now, that's pretty amazing because people my age, there's about roughly
5.2% of people who have had cancer up until this point.
So it's not an insignificant number, but I want to know that I'm cancer-free and I
am cancer-free based upon this MRI scan. Two is that my brain's biological age
is 42. That's five years younger than my chronological age.
My brain inflammation is less than 80% of people in my age group.
My brain gray matter is the top 84th percentile. So
it's really helpful to learn where you're at relative to those
your age and it really gives you a baseline again of like are you doing
well in life? Should you change things in life? Do
things need urgent attention? If you want to get an MRI, you can choose
from three different versions based upon your budget
and your age. Now, if you're older, 40s, 50s, 60s, 70s,
a routine MRI is probably a good idea. Even when you don't have symptoms, this
preventative care is just a good practice if you can afford it.
If you're younger, unless you have like a family history, you know, or something
like that, you may not need it. But of course,
this is not medical advice. You need to consult your doctor. Now, if you want to
do it, check out on the link below. There's a few options for you to choose
from. From the advanced version that I've done
to a flash version which is much easier and lower cost.
Now, just a heads up on where this is now available. It's
U.S. only and there are six locations. We are working with our partner Ezra to
expand internationally and add more locations in the U.S.
So, you either can hold tight and wait for locations to open up
closer to you or travel to one of the six we have.
So, friends, I wish you the best. Preventative medicine and diagnostics
and finding things early is very powerful.
Learning where your baseline is also gives you a lot of motivation to
improve your life choices. Be well.
